Secret Quarantine Blog

I had NO IDEA I could write a secret blog inside Goodreads! Quarantine at least brings the time to discover such things!
I never blog because it's too much pressure to SAY SOMETHING--but I think I can do this, here. And being flexible feels apropos in the current climate. Especially so given that A GOOD MARRIAGE is about to be published in the midst of all this madness.
(It's gotten some nice reviews and is already in development with Nicole Kidman's Blossom Films. You can get the full scoop here):

Oh, and you could, you know, shelve it here while you're at it:
A Good Marriage
And no, we are NOT moving the May 5th publication date. Because the show must go on! By May 5th we will have been cooped up for a good long time, everybody is REALLY going to need something new to read and, under the circumstances, I'm going to guess lots of people will be wondering what makes A GOOD MARRIAGE.
I'll be back tomorrow, tell you about my work in progress and Quarantine life in these parts. Stay safe everyone!
xx, kim
p.s. (Please excuse typos or related stupidity. Pandemic perfection is way overrated.)

Quarantine got you down? If all else fails, bake a bright pink cake. There are so few things in life for which there is no downside. This is one of them.

To the doctors, nurses, nurse practitioners, orderlies,...

To the doctors, nurses, nurse practitioners, orderlies, physician assistants, lab technicians, hospital cleaning staff and all other medical professionals saving the world: THANK YOU for risking everything for all of us.
And to all those tireless people who are still delivering our packages, working in our grocery stores, picking up our garbage—thank you for the risks you are taking to keep the rest of us in one piece.
And to everyone else, remember: it’s always darkest before the dawn.
