My Thoughts On The Girl With The Thistle Tattoo
Patricia Green's The Girl With The Thistle Tattoo tells the story of thirtysomething former lawyer Cal, and twenty three year old Astraea who is a barrsta/model.
This is a story that I think will stay with me for a long time.
Astraea is a unique heroine. Far from innocent, she has been on her own for five years, though in many ways she has been emotionally on her own much longer.

Why I Stopped Writing Amazon Reviews
Writers and publishers do all sorts of things to generate Amazon reviews.
I like getting reviews, particularly the nice 5 star ones that boost my ego and make my day.
I know many authors who are friends and colleagues of mine would appreciate a review.
So, why did I stop writing them?
Good question.
I've given this a bit of thought and it boils down to this---- I am uncomfortable publicly

Different people are motivated in different ways. Some are motivated by money or praise. Some are motivated by fear.
One of the things that motivates me is that I hate not doing what I say I'm going to do. So I am going to publicly post a few New Year's Resolutions to motivate me and to keep me accountable.
1. I'm going to write 30,000 words per month.
2. Publish at least
