Lurkers!
You know...those people who visit blogs but don't comment very often (or at all). I know you're out there...I have the stats to prove it.
I wish I knew why some people leave comments and others don't. I can understand that if you don't have a blog and blogger identity you might be concerned about sharing your real name, but I think there are ways around that. Of course, I'd never want

Knitting!
I love to knit. It relaxes me and I enjoy trying new patterns. Probably the biggest reason I knit, though, is because there are so many people in need.
I knit slippers because I was told that many homeless people have only one pair of socks so if that pair gets wet, or they want to wash them out in the sink at the shelter, they have to go barefoot until they dry. But with a nice pair

Joelle!
Joelle Casteel is a lovely person who is one of the biggest supporters of all the spanking fiction authors (and probably all her other friends as well). I hope you have been getting to know her this month because she is also one of the hearty souls participating in the A to Z challenge.
She even wrote a funny post for Saturday Spanking about signing up for this challenge. You can read

Husband!
Mine is patient, loving, generous and just right for me.
We met on Match.com. Our first date was on January 1 and we got married a few months later. (No, it wasn't a shotgun wedding.) In the four years we've been together we've adopted a dog (see D below), moved in with my parents, and both changed careers. Who knows what the future holds, but when you're with the right partner, it's

Game Shows!
Recently I've been thinking about the role Game Shows play in my life. I know, I'm deep.
The summer my son was twelve was sort of rough. He was too old for day care. We lived in a neighborhood with mostly retired people so not many kids around to play with, and it was the one time in my whole career that I worked full time for someone else. That meant some pretty long dull days at

Entertainment!
Sometimes I think I ought to write a story with some deep meaning that will touch people and change their lives. I mean, that's what writers are supposed to aspire to, isn't it?
If that happens, I''d be thrilled. But, mostly I have decided that I want to write to entertain.
I hope you won't think I have a huge ego, but I'd like to share part of a review that really inspired

My aDorable Dog Dooley.
Waiting for me to come home. Who said you could get on the couch?
Is that a handknitted sweater made especially for you, Dooley? Why yes it is.
My husband and I found Dooley at the local pound a few months after we got married and he's been a wonderful addition to our family. He's calm and good natured (except during thunderstorms when he quivers

Corn on the Cob!
One of life's greatest culinary pleasures and a good excuse to use this funny photo.
Now there's a guy who enjoys his job!
I'm from the midwest, where they grow corn. I visited a friend in Boston and she was so excited to buy corn at the grocery store (wrapped in plastic...ick) and when we took it home...she didn't cook it until the next day!
It felt like sacrilege.
