Hair To Dye For

Hair to dye for sounds pretty extreme doesn’t it?  It can happen, suddenly allergic to your regular hair dye you have used for months or even years.

A severe allergic reaction can cause death in some.  Just a small percentage of people who have an allergic reaction actually seek medical attention.  For me, I didn’t realize I was even having a reaction until several days later.

The chemical PPD (para-phenylenediamin) is the culprit.  It is has been banned for use in hair dyes in France, Sweden, and Germany. Working around PPD on a daily basis, puts hair stylists and salon workers at the most risk of becoming sensitive.

Be aware, ask questions of your hair stylist.  Read product descriptions.  There are hair dyes out there without PPD.

If you do have or think you are having a reaction seek immediate medical attention.

Allergies As We Grow Older

As we grow older our bodies change drastically.  I don’t like to admit it, but mine has drastically.  Yikes!!! Yes, and it will happen to each and every one of you.  That’s life.

So, why all of a sudden am I so allergic to everything?  Well, I wanted to find out the same thing.  I went to my dermatologist and she explained to me.  As we age… our body cells change every 7 years.  All cells, and in doing so, things that didn’t affect us before can suddenly become an issue.

I’m now allergic to certain cosmetics, certain foods and even hair products.  Never was before.  I even now have sinus allergies.  All this happened in the last few years.  Oh by the way, I’m a young 47 year old mother of 4 and grandmother of 2.

Read my book on “Allergic To Hair Dye”  it’s quite an eye opener.  It was for me when it happened.

Here is the link to my book:  http://www.amazon.com/dp/B008MPX0SY

Happy reading and “Smile”Image it may make someone’s day.
