Touch of Frost: Magic, New Mexico
I'm excited about the new Feel the Heat bundle set that went on sale this morning! All proceeds from the sale go to charity! My story, Touch of Frost: Magic, New Mexico, is an original story written just for the bundle. This story is a 'touch' different than my other stories and I love it. This story is about Frost, a Star Ranger, who chases a deadly fugitive to Earth. The planet is considered primitive and he must use caution so that the local inhabitants don't know that aliens are on their world. What he doesn't expect is that the inhabitants he encounters are stranger than he is! Lacey Adams, lives in Magic, New Mexico, where humans that are different have made their home. She is more than capable of protecting herself... well, except for her heart! Find out what happens when the aliens are more normal than the inhabitants they encounter, in Touch of Frost!

Razor's Traitorous Heart: The Alliance Book 2
Razor's Traitorous Heart is now out! Some readers have asked me why I wrote Razor's story before Dagger and Saber. There was a reason as strange as it may seem... for me, the girls still needed time to grow up and learn about their new world. Jordan's determination to learn coding came mostly from her desire/desperation to find Dagger. She needed time to learn those skills. When she did find him, she was ready to act on it. In Razor's story, Jordan needed Razor, Kali and the other warriors. So, for the story to continue, readers needed to know what was going on. There are many more stories to come in the Alliance series. Dagger's Hope will be the next one to come. For now, I have a short story I am writing for a charity that benefits an Animal Shelter before starting on Twin Dragons. For those who may not know, I have quit my day job so I can focus on my writing full time. I am looking forward to sharing more adventures with everyone. Take care, Susan

Hunter's Claim: The Alliance Book 1
Sometimes, okay frequently, a story will come to me and not let go until I've written it. Touching Rune was one of those that came before Christmas and Hunter's Claim is the other that came after. Yes, I know, I know. I should be writing the story for the anthology I have been asked to join in with and Krac's story. Both will be next, I promise.
Hunter's Claim actually started out as the story I was writing for the anthology but I realized when I had almost 30,000 words in four days that it was much too powerful a romance to not tell the entire thing. So, Hunter and Jesse's adventure came alive.

Ha'ven's Song: Curizan Warriors Book 1
As many of you may know I've released Ha'ven's Song a few days early. This story is a beautiful love story between two shattered souls.
I first introduced Ha'ven in Abducting Abby. At the time, I had no idea of the relationship, or friendship, that would develop between the three species. As the stories and worlds developed, I couldn't help but fall a little more in love with each unique species. Ha'ven's character showed that he was a true and loyal friend who would stand beside those he cares about.
I wanted to know more about the Curizans. Who they were, how did they interact with each other and finally how did his friendship with the Valdier and Sarafin evolve. I also knew he needed to have that special heroine who could balance him. But, how I could find one?
When Emma's character came to life at the end of Cornering Carmen I knew she was the one. Emma's strength comes from within. She is that rare female who appears delicate, fragile but has a steel core. It is her odd mixture that seemed to be the perfect balance to Ha'ven who needed that softer touch.
I hope you enjoy their story as much as I did. I would like to give a huge thanks to the feedback I received from some of my ARC readers and my Beta Readers. Your attention to detail helped make this story even more special.

Sometimes there are characters in a story that just demand that their stories be shared. Such is the case of Mattie Abrams and Jai t'Dubar. The characters are introduced in Jo's Journey: Lords of Kassis Book 3.
