Diego Tonini, nasce a Treviso quattro anni prima dei mondiali dell'ottantadue, scienziato dei materiali, idealmente fotografo e aspirante scrittore. Sin dal liceo scrive un sacco di "inizi", racconti che promettevano ma non hanno mai mantenuto, storie mai concluse. Poi ha cominciato a spostarsi per lavoro: Padova, Milano, Trento... di nuovo Treviso. E lo scrivere lo ha accompagnato, come un punto fisso, una confusione ordinata nell'ordine caotico della sua vita. Cerca di fermare quello che vede, su una pagina scritta o con la macchina fotografica, cerca di dare il suo punto di vista originale a cose apparentemente banali.

Quello che leggo: Cecità e Il Condominio

Per caso mi è capitato di leggere uno di seguito all’altro due romanzi che vengono spesso accostati: Cecità, di José Saramago e Il Condominio di James G. Ballard (ringrazio Laura e Francesco per i regali).

Nonostante i vent’anni che li separano (Il Condominio è del 1975, Cecità del 1995) e le differenze di stile molto forti, entrambi i romanzi trattano lo stesso tema:
