Roadkill

UK publication day
Today (September the 27th) is the official UK publication day for 'A Dark Place To Die'. I'm sitting at the desk feeling like I should celebrate somehow but not sure exactly what to do. Part of me wants to do a Fernando Torres-style knee slide goal celebration, arms outstretched as I come to a dramatic halt near the corner flag. However, the absence of both corner flag, turf, TV and crowd mean that this is not an option. Maybe I should simply have a drink; fine, but it's 11am where I am and I'm not yet ready to do solo morning drinking. So the celebration will have to be just tapping out some more words and hoping somebody out there buys the thing.
