June Williams is a lifelong bibliophile. She was born and raised in Hawaii, where she decided to become a writer at the age of seven. She received a college award for short story writing, but then her creative side went on hiatus while she wrote business magazine articles, technical and policy manuals, political speeches, and advertising copy. "I sold my pen for food," she jokes.

With the encouragement of good friends from an online Jane Austen community, June's creative side came alive again. Her first book is "Honor and Integrity: A Collection of Pride and Prejudice-Inspired Short Stories," written in 2012 with Aimée Avery and Enid Wilson. Her second book is "Headstrong Girls," written in 2013 with Enid Wilson and Debra Anne Watson. ...more

"No Cupid Contract" in "Headstrong Girls"

My second book, Headstrong Girls, has just been published on Amazon Kindle, Smashwords, and Lulu; it is a collection of short stories and a short movie script, all inspired by Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice." My short story, "No Cupid Contract," is a modern mystery with Lizzy Bennet and Fitzwilliam Darcy as the main characters.
