That’s so great!! :)))) Either way, neither of us were around yet! :P

PS: For a second I was really confused about this - I thought, “but how could it have been their first date if they’d already had two kids together?” LOL. Oh dear. Time for bed, I think… :P

I was 5

2 myself :)

… -2?

I also had just turned -2.

I was 8. I saw it in the theatre that first year at least 4 times.

-5! I wonder how I was in my past life and if they saw it!

You know, it’s not often I feel like a baby on Tumblr but I was -12….

UK premiere was December 27th 1977, so I was 21, 2 months, 1 week.

The second (or maybe third) time I went to see it, I got home in time for the first episode of “Blake’s 7″.

OMG… :-P

I was - 10

Three and a half months old as of the North American release date. Thankfully they rescreened the entire trilogy when ROTJ came out, so I saw the whole thing in cinemas. A lot.

-6

-11

-18
*sweats*

I was 1

I was 3 :-)

I was 5.

-14

-7

-16 >.>

I was 2.

I was three in 1977. I turned four late that year, but when Star Wars came out, I was three.

First movie I ever saw in the theaters.

I was -2.

-2.5ish. Also, omg Blake’s 7.

6!

5!

I was six. This was back in the day when the movie theater had only two screens - North and South - and there were two wide aisles, with seats on both sides, and balconies. This was, no kidding, the Hicksville Mall on Long Island.

My dad took me to see it something like fourteen times.

I was exactly eight and a half (the half was very important) when it premiered. I remember waiting in line with other neighborhood kids, my mom, my little brother, and lots and lots of big kids. I’m not sure if I ever waited in as long a line for a movie ever again.

I was Eleven and saw it at the drive in, sitting on top of  a station wagon.  I miss drive ins!

I was 26, newly married to my first husband. He hated SW so I went by myself.

I was also -2! It was my parents’ first date!

Omg omg omg!! My little story Second Chance just went over 30,000 hits this morning! This is enormously exciting for me! This is only my third story to have surpassed 30K, after Against the Rest of the World and Best of Three. Thank you so, so much for reading this story and giving it love! Awkwardly-trying-to-flirt Sherlock was a joy to write, plus getting to write a re-do of the stag night was fun, too! :) Thanks so much for this! I love you guys!

Sherlock’s shy smile in the third gif just kills me. He’s not completely sure yet whether John’s done being angry - he thinks so, but there’s still some uncertainty there. But then when he sees that it’s all right, the way his smile blooms fully - ahh, my heart!

albinwonderland:

I really try to challenge Canadian stereotypes at every opportunity but today I was walking down Young St. in Toronto and a firetruck honked very loudly and I clutched my chest and said “MY WORD” and as it drove past, a fireman leaned out of the window and apologized to me
so I just don’t know

I just laughed very loudly, all alone in my apartment
