Ahhh, omg yay! My newest story, Flesh and Blood and Bone and...
Ahhh, omg yay! My newest story, Flesh and Blood and Bone and Heart, just reached 10,000 hits tonight!! That’s really exciting - it’s been up for five weeks now and it’s still in my head all the time. This is the thirty-second of my fifty-eight stories to have hit 10K now. Crazy! Thank you for reading it and giving it love!

a lot of sherlock’s behavior toward mary says quite clearly, “your presence here is meaningless.” look at the way he treats her when he busts in on john’s proposal in the empty hearse. he interrupts their clearly intimate conversation for his own agenda. he stands with his back to her, blocking her out of the conversation. he dips his napkin in her water glass. he comes on to john right in front of her. he drags her into the conversation about the advisability of the mustache. and then in tsot there’s “she hates you; can barely stand to look at you” and “stop smiling” and “get your wife under control!” and this is all before she shoots him.
why do people think they’re friends? because she teases him? that quite clearly hurts his feelings very deeply. because he says she deserves john? that was really about demonstrating his trust in john’s judgment (one of the reasons john was so very angry with him over his disappearance). he can’t muster anything nice to say about her beyond that remark. sherlock tolerates mary’s presence because he thinks it’s what john wants. he’d do anything to please john. i nearly said sherlock’s feelings for mary are no warmer than hers are for him, but that’s a little hasty. let’s not forget who shot whom in the fucking chest.

Exactly: the overdose was an invention. As I often say, I meta through fic, so - if you want my thoughts on the “overdose”, it’s all in my latest story. Sherlock wasn’t exhibiting any signs of an overdose, and certainly not of a list like the one he wrote. He was barely even exhibiting signs of being high, though I would concede to the possibility. Overdose, though? Nope. This is the perfect, most eloquent explanation right here.
Dear SA, do you have a "favorite" of your fics? Just wondering, because ... ahem ... I do. Have a favorite of your fics, that is. Though I love all the ones I've read, and have tried NOT to finish reading them all so that there will always be a little more
Oh, that is a HARD question!! I feel like I almost have to say them all, you know? It does depend a bit on my mood. Just off the top of my head, though, I would have to say my baby, Against the Rest of the World. But I also have to say Vena Cava, Love Is, The Impossible Word, At the Heart of it All, The White Lotuses, Scars, and Flesh and Blood and Heart and Soul. And the final story of my Freebatch trilogy, Always Through the Changing (needs an ao3 account for access). So you, know: most of them. Lol.
And yeah, I hear you! I hate it when I get to the end of an author’s works! I’m working on more now, I promise! It’s at 7,500 words and going strong! :)
