Okay, then: and actually, I just got some really shitty news, too. My language school was bought out by another one recently and the new one has a different pay system: they only pay once per month. So far, though, they’ve still been paying the employees of my old school every two weeks (like a normal employer). I was already expecting to only make about $400 this month because of how few hours I’m getting these days, and I need to make about $900 to make ends meet, so it was already a huge stress.
Today I found out - like 5 minutes ago - that they’ve decided to switch us over, so I’m not only not getting paid on Thursday like I thought, I’m not getting paid for July at all until August 20th. I’m busy looking into whether this is even legal, but all of that information is in French and it’s slow reading. So now I have literally nothing to pay my August rent and bills with and I’m in a serious panic.
I don’t know why my patreon thing isn’t working, but - I’m so incredibly ashamed to even ask, but if anyone can help in any way at all, I would be terribly grateful. I do have paypal, through the email silentauror@yahoo.com. Please don’t anyone feel that you have to. This is so scary. :(((

You amazing creature. :) Thank you so much for all of this!!! I just finished chapter 9 of the novel last night and I’m still sort of surprised and relieved that I’ve written so much of it! It’s just over 79,000 words now and still going! The apartment… well, I bought all this stuff, like the main stuff you need for an apartment - a bed, a fridge, a stove, a washer and dryer, etc, but I still need a bunch of other stuff that I can’t afford to get right now. I always have this terribly poor period in July/August when I only have a course or two to teach, and I’m in it now. I’m just glad I managed my appliances, yikes. Buying four at one time is no joke, even buying them used! And I’m a woman who lives alone with no car, so that means paying for delivery and all that, too… but it will all come together soon! :)

Sorry it’s been so long between updates! I’m working steadily on the novel again (it’s now over 77K!) and I have two Johnlock fics in the works. One is a romance, the other is pretty much porn-with-feels. :)
