Her utter GLEE at Sherlock’s unhappiness makes me hate her just beyond words. It’s her wedding day, indeed - she’s already won John and they both know it. This is her rubbing it in AND twisting the knife with this unnecessary provocation of implying that there’s some other guy in John’s life who’s more Sherlocky than Sherlock himself. Seriously Mary, go fuck yourself.

Another for my ongoing self-repost series. Today’s featured story is Right Hand Man, a hurt/comfort fic. John’s left hand and arm become paralyzed after a car accident, and Mary, about to give birth, doesn’t think she can/wants to handle both caring for John with his newfound disability as well as a newborn, so she asks Sherlock to take John back to Baker Street. Sherlock has to learn very quickly how to negotiate caring for John while doing his best to enable him to learn how to do as much for himself as he can, and meanwhile Moriarty is still alive and on the loose… this is a series 3 fix-it, and while I usually didn’t have Moriarty actually still living in most fix-its, in this one, I did!
