Love Left Behind…to be continued?
Warning: a tiny spoilerish if you haven’t read Love Left Behind yet
I want to thank everyone for their amazing response to Love Left Behind! I’ve been getting inquiries about whether there will be a second book continuing Emma and Jackson’s story. I hadn’t initially planned on it, although I do have an idea of where their story would go. At the same time, Emma and Jackson have been through plenty of angst and I just want them to be happy! And a second book will undoubtedly mean more conflict,...

Chasing Shadows Status Update
I just wanted to let everyone know that I’m working hard to get Chasing Shadows, book #2 in the Shadow Series, to you as soon as possible. It’s slated to release in November 2012, but there’s a chance that it may be earlier. When I say a chance, I mean I hope that by some miracle the editing process will magically become easier instead of it feeling like I’m hitting my head against the wall.
In the meantime, I encourage you to read my new contemporary romance, Love Left Behind. It’s a bit diff...

Love Left Behind
I’m very excited to announce that my new adult contemporary romance, Love Left Behind, has been released! Emma Mills is an ordinary woman whose life is about to become extraordinary. I’ll let her tell you about it herself:
It’s not everyday that you get to move to New York City and reinvent yourself. I was tired of being boring, predictable Emma Mills. I was convinced that my life would be totally different in the Big Apple.
And I was right.
Jackson Reynard was irresistible and I had no plans on...

Thursday’s Random Ramblings
- I think I’m becoming lactose intolerant. Either that, or it’s not a good idea to eat an entire tub of frozen Cool Whip in one sitting. Is that even considered dairy? I think it’s mostly synthetic. But damn, it was good. During…not after…
- Almost done with the second book in the Shadow Series. I was writing late last night and started to get creeped out. I didn’t get much done because I kept checking behind me to make sure no one (or thing) was lurking. Mental note: only write during dayligh...

Ruff. Feed me. Now.

Jojo romping with daffodils
Jojo the Wonderdog came into my life two years ago. I’ve wanted a dog since I was young, but my mother was afflicted with a fixation for cleanliness and ruled that dogs were drooling, shedding messes (which I’ve now realized is accurate). She tried to placate me with a goldfish, but that only lasted a month until it committed suicide. It jumped out of a holding container while I was cleaning its bowl, and I didn’t notice until I felt something squishy underneath my...

Upcoming Projects
Thanks to everyone that read Seeing Shadows! I’m hard at work on the second book in the series,Chasing Shadows, and hope to have it out as soon as possible. I’ll update you when I have a firm date. In the meantime, I have a new book releasing in September. It’s a contemporary romance that’s considerably steamier than Seeing Shadows, for those who like that kind of thing.
It’s called Love Left Behind and explores what happens when an ordinary woman falls in love with the man of her dreams, on...

Seeing Shadows – A Twist on Paranormal Romance
Writing Seeing Shadows was a journey for me. I’ve always loved writing, but it was only for my own pleasure. Putting my words out there for everyone to read was scary but exciting.
Fortunately Caitlin and Simon, my protagonists, helped me out by letting me know where the story should go. Below is a synopsis of Seeing Shadows.
Caitlin Kile was living a normal college life full of parties and early morning classes. Living with her best friend and enjoying her senior year, Caitlin’s life seemed id...
