Thursday Morning Ramblings

- My new book, an adult contemporary romance, is slated to release early January 2013, with a chance of it releasing earlier. It’s called Fated and if you liked Love Left Behind, it’ll be right up your alley. The hero, Caden Riley, is hot, but in a different way than Jackson Reynard. Plus, I really love the heroine, Lauren Sloan. I’ll post the cover and description and all that junk when it’s ready.

Hurricane Sandy…That B-

Hello out there! I hope everyone who was affected by Hurricane Sandy is safe! She hit us pretty hard, but we’re all okay. We’re still without power and the internet, which has basically made me into a crazy person since I hate not being connected. That, plus the tree currently making itself at home on my roof, has made the past few days a little trying. But we’re lucky compared to so many others, so I’m grateful that those are our only problems.

Saturday afternoon random ramblings

- Is anyone in Hurricane Sandy’s path? I’m not sure how concerned I should be. Should I be out at the grocery store stocking up on milk and bread? Although vodka and potato chips would probably better serve my purposes. All joking aside (although I never joke about vodka and potato chips), I hope everyone in its projected path keeps safe!

Shadow Series Non-Update

Okay, don’t kill me. This isn’t so much an update as a confession that I don’t have a release date for the third book in the Shadow Series yet. I had hoped that it would release by the end of this year, but it’s looking more unlikely as I try to bring together a very rough draft. I just want to make sure that I end the series with a book that you guys deserve, so I don’t want to rush it. The Walking Dead

Any Walking Dead fans out there? Season premiere tonight! Although I have to say I’m a little apprehensive about where the storyline will go. I absolutely loved Season 1. Each episode had me by the throat, tense and anxious with every development. I’m all over anything post-apocalyptic, especially when zombies are involved.

I’m in awe of how connected we are in this technological age (this is coming from someone who’s a self-described curmudgeon when it comes to social media) and hearing your response has been amazing.
