Here is an extract from a
recent article recording former chief prosecutor Sir Keir Starmer's ideas and thoughts on a new victims' law.
Writing in the Guardian, he [Sir Starmer] said many victims were not coming forward because of a lack of faith in the criminal justice system.
He said: "And the issue that deters them is simply the way in which they are likely to be treated if they come forward."
And to think I wrote to Starmer over Lily's abduction when he was Director of Public Prosecutions. He did nothing!
