Tadpole Arm
AWESOME! Another tadpole has gotten one arm in the past hour and will have his second in mere minutes! #tadpole #frog Look near his head. You can see his right arm with three fingers (he will develop the fourth in a few days). Now look at the left side of his body (the part facing you). See the impression of three fingers in there? That is the fully formed arm beneath the skin, ready to come out! They press out elbow first through an opening in the skin. I bet it’ll be out by the time I go back to look again!

Two Armed Tadpole
The tadpole’s second arm has popped out to its proper location! Too cool! It wasn’t out just a few hours ago! #frog I apologize for the picture being a bit fuzzy but he’s swimming all over in glee, now that he has all his arms out. None of the other tadpoles have any arms at all – and half don’t have legs yet. We have a Two Armed Tadpole – or, more properly, a froglet!
