Mused Autumn Equinox issue

I just finished reading through all the entries in Mused for the upcoming Autumn Equinox issue. WOW – we have a stunning set of items. Kudos to all the artists and writers! It’ll be extremely hard to whittle this down to just what will fit into the issue.

Nature Photography

Here’s a katydid nymph photo I took a little while ago in Upton. It was so cute, covered in pollen.

College Graduation

Today’s the one year anniversary of my college graduation party. For my entire adult life I had regretted never finishing my degree. It’s something that gnawed at me. I finally plowed headlong into it and earned my Leadership degree from Northeastern, graduating summa cum laude. I enjoyed every single class. The material I learned was amazing and immediately helpful in the projects I run. My fellow students, most management level people in the Boston area, were like a board of directors to help me with issues I faced. I loved, loved, loved that program. Thank you to everyone who supported me through those time-intensive years. Thank you to my mom for throwing the party, to everyone who came or cheered me on, and to Far From Eden for playing a fantastic live gig!

Editing a Novel

Happy happy. On the back porch, sun shining, Julie-cat lounging, birds singing, editing a friend’s sci-fi novel. #publishing

… Hurrah, just finished the full editing run on my friend’s novel. Now he needs a cover, and it can go live!
