I recently upgraded my old DVDs of the original Mad Max flicks to blu-ray, mostly because the DVD picture quality on new high-res TVs was complete shit. However, the BR of “Mad Max” also revealed what I had long suspected: The original US release and subsequent DVD was dubbed. Dubbed! From English to… well, English. So do yourself a favor and get the Shout!/Scream Factory blu-ray, not just for the resolution, but to hear the lines delivered as George Miller intended. And I haven’t done a q...
