Early Blog Tour Preview: Interview on Strahbary’s Fields

Zeus, Inc.In case you didn’t notice, I’m having a blog tour! I’ll be posting links every day next week, starting on Sunday, where you can read a little something about my book, an interview or a guest post that I’ve written. I want to thank all of the blogs that agreed to host me this week and let me promote Zeus, Inc.

So…. drumroll, please? My first stop is at Strahbary’s Fields, where you can read an interview with me. You can read that here.

Tune in again Sunday for the next stop!

(Btw, I would like to thank everyone who had kind words to say to me this week. If you didn’t know, I lost my mother. However, she thought it was pretty cool that I wrote a book.)

Updates! A Sequel, A Tour, A Con and A Short Story

1058435_70639583I know, I know, I’m horrible at updating this thing. I figure that everyone is already following me on Facebook, Twitter or Google+ that you all know what’s been going on with me. But for posterity’s sake, I’m posting today to fill you in on some of the exciting things I’ve got going on. October is going to be one crazy and wonderful month.

So, guess what? The sequel to Zeus, Inc. is now in the hands of my publisher! The Curse of Hekate furthers Alex Grosjean’s adventures and let me tell you, I think it’s even better than the first book. There’s a lot more action and a lot more adventure and even a little bit of world travel. What’s better than that? Be expecting me to make an announcement about a release date for that soon. I’m really excited to get that out to you all.

Next up is a Zeus, Inc. blog tour! The tour starts on October 6th and runs throughout the entirety of the week. I have some amazing blogs signed up and I’m really looking forward to it. I’ll be doing a few guest posts, having a giveaway (a $25 Amazon gift card) and giving away advance beta copies of The Curse of Hekate. It’s sure to be a lot of fun for everyone involved.

On October 19 and 20th, I will be attending Geek Girl Con. This will be my first GGC and I think I am really going to enjoy it. I will be cosplaying two costumes that weekend, so be looking out for Rose Tyler (Doctor Who) and Emma Swan (Once Upon A Time). Even better? I have Zeus, Inc. bookmarks! So if you want a bookmark, be sure to track me down. I’ll be on Twitter as much as possible, posting photos and letting you all know where I am. Before the con, I’ll be hanging out with a friend in Vancouver (potentially haunting television show sets) and afterwards, I’ll be playing tourist in Seattle.

Finally, I’ve made it to the second round of the Tales From The Lake short story competition that Crystal Lake Publishing is sponsoring. I’ve just submitted my summary that will, hopefully, get me to the third round, and I’m working on polishing up the story. It’s a good one, too!  If my story makes the cut, it will be published in an anthology. This is such a great opportunity and gives me a chance to do something a little different.

I was hoping to do NaNoWriMo this year, but making it to the second round of the short story competition sort of threw a wrench in my plans. I do have an idea for a third Alex Grosjean story, but I’m still finishing up the first draft of the first book in The Book of Revelations. I suppose we’ll see how things progress.

Great Review of Zeus, Inc. on Now Is Gone

writingCan you believe it’s August already? I’ve been so busy gearing up for the upcoming Geek Girl Con, as well as a few other cons, that I have completely lost track of time. I also forgot to post this great review from Now Is Gone. But I’m posting it now, so that’s what counts, right?

I have been writing a lot lately, as well. The follow-up to Zeus, Inc., The Curse of Hekate, is very nearly ready for its first set of beta readers. I’ve also been typing away on the first book of The Books of Revelations. And if you haven’t noticed, I write for DVICE nearly every day now, so I’m a very busy  (yet happy) camper. I’m also working on some short stories for competitions and I am at the point where I really wish there were more hours in the day.

But know this, my dear readers. I am writing. In the meantime, though, please be sure to pick a copy of Zeus, Inc. from Biting Dog Publications. It’s available everywhere e-books are sold. And if you have read the book and enjoyed it, please let everyone know, write reviews, etc. You have no idea how much that helps me out. And I appreciate it 110%!

An update (of sorts) featuring good news!

1109654_first_newsI suppose you’ve been wondering where I’ve been hiding and why Zeus, Inc. is no longer available for sale. Well, fear not, as I have a huge announcement coming soon (once it’s official) that some of my friends already know about. Obviously, it’s one of those things where I prefer to wait until the ink is dry, but let’s just say that Zeus, Inc. will be making a bigger and better return soon.

I have also been busy doing what I love: writing. I’ve picked up my pace over at DVICE and have also started writing for Rebel Gaming. Also, my own site, Fangirl Confessions is starting to bring in a little income, so I’m devoting myself to that, as well. See? Writing isn’t all about novels and short stories.

So the good news is that I have been busy writing.

Stay tuned for more good news…
