Review on Dreaming Fantasy!

Read the review on Dreaming Fantasy.

"A reading really not bad, and I was totally involved. The Lion's Promise is a mix of love, passion and action that does not go unnoticed. To be the first self-published book by Chiara Cilli, I'd say she did a great job. The book opens with a brief prologue that explains the birth of the shape-shifter, a gift received from a magic stone. And it is something very positive, very often I read books with fantastical creatures that we have no idea how they are born, they are just there. Rightly, the reader wonders where they came from and where they are born, then I would say that on this point Chiara Cilli answered every possible question. Subsequently, the story focuses on the carefree life of the protagonists in the midst of nature, in Tanzania. Unfortunately I was not able to imagine the places, too little and briefly described. I had never read a book set in Tanzania, so here's another point winning for The Lion's Promise. Too bad for the descriptions a bit poor, I could not feel the sun on my face, the smell of the woods and my eyes filled with green. I found the first part of the book maybe a little flat, but definitely needed to show the reader the life of the protagonists. But there are some things that I would like to point out that I have a little annoyance. In the first 70 pages, on each page, the beginning of a sentence is the interlayer / exclamation ( I do not know what to call it ) GOD and JESUS. One thing that really irritated me a lot, since I have counted 1 for each page! Those little words were repeated too many times. Another thing that I did not like is the difficult choice of the author to tell the story from different points of view. Sometimes we are a bit inside the head of Jamila, other Kenan's, others Daren's, all without a logical order that initially tends to confuse the reader.
From the middle of the book on, the pages fly away, one after the other. Full of twists and action that left me breathless! I could not close the book until the action would not lock because I was afraid for the safety of the characters. Jamila is, in my opinion, the most well-managed and described. She's sensual, beautiful, courageous and with a sense of justice. Daren is very simple to understand and interpret his actions are perfectly consistent with his character. With Kenan I had more difficulty getting into his mind. Overall, not entirely evil, full of remorse that perhaps does not want to accept. Inconsistent with himself and complicated. Even the secondary characters are well defined. I'm a little sorry for the last few pages that seem hastily written, everything ends too quickly, or maybe just me that I wanted the story to last longer. The Lion's Promise deserves 4 stars to the story, but in the end I opted for 3 and a half to the point of view of the narrative at times confused and the many God and Jesus repeated too many times."

Review on Vivere in un Libro ♥

Read the review on Vivere in un Libro.

"Amazing. I am increasingly certain to adore Morwen, the protagonist of this book. Although in reality the true you find only her body. We were left with Deshre, the goddess incarnate in Morwen's body. A tricky situation for the poor Prince Galadir, madly in love with the Queen of the Underworld. Original and full of twists and turns, the author has managed to weave an intriguing and addictive storyline. Galadir turned out to be a man of sterling character, in love and very stubborn. Deshre, in all her majesty, fell short of expectations. Their scenes are strong, sadistic, on the other hand we speak of the Goddess of Death. For a good part of the book we see Galadir trapped in the Castle of Vivar, at the mercy of the Goddess. Described so, the stalemate in which they are may appear boring, nothing could be more wrong. The author maintains a high pace from the outset. The Prince of Thera fight his fears, suffering bloody tortures and struggling constantly for his life. In all this he never loses hope. The finale stuns and portends a third volume full of surprises! Once again, congratulations to the author. It's a spectacular series, focuses everything should be in a fantasy novel, seasoning it with the right amount of love and passion. We are in fibrillation for what the future holds for our two protagonists."

Review on L'universo dei Libri!

Read the review on L'universo dei libri.

"RADIOACTIVE STORM by Chiara Cilli is definitely eye-catching and well written (I have repeatedly emphasized in previous reviews, the writer knows how to write, knows how to keep readers glued), in this second book there's a glimpse of Matt, Stefano and Stella's past. Matt is always fucking hot (pass me the term), although in this book I would have liked him to be even more of a man. He says to love, to care about Cristina, but when she tells him "honey, I step a week with Stefano, because he wants me to recap" what does Matt do? He agrees! ! ! But where is the pride? I still do not situate Cristina at all, sometimes she is a strong woman, other times she does reasoning and has behavior not by girls but as a baby. She wants, because she loves ti, to be the center of attention, but doing so really loses herself, I do not like when she jumps from one bed to another. She makes a mess of absurd paranoia, but fly from one flower to another - seek clarity in the fog you find yourself in the head before! The scenes are always hot , even in the first book was more pathos, in some of these I had an impression of copy and paste. Finally, it is an enjoyable read , you read it quickly and wait forward to the third, to see how it will end, 'cause the writer ends RADIOACTIVE STORM with a cliffhanger, grrrrrr."

Review on Crazy for Romance ♥

Read the review on Crazy For Romance.

"I begin by telling you that I found myself reading consecutively the first two chapters of the trilogy by Chiara Cilli and this full immersion in the life of the MSA has been devastating to my hormones, to my calm and especially to my lucidity. If you're wondering why, I'll explain it...
I'm sure that anyone who has already read the first book, as soon as turned the last page, will certainly have thought: "But Cris is out of mind?" How do you sign that contract that binds you to a work of dubious morality after Matt Stanton, the man who you said to love and who you can not help but him, has just he asked you not to do so (and here another question, "so why did you propose it?") and to be with him because he loves you? Without speaking of your mind that continues to ask "but it will be better Matt, with his unbridled sensuality and passion that destabilizes, or Stefano with his nature more calm and romantic that gives safety?? Well, then I start to read Radioactive Storm confident that all my questions will be answered. We meet a few months after signing the contract, Cris began working at full speed to the MSA, respecting the contract which does not provide sexual services with customers, her relationship with Matt is asleep, he is virtually absent. She keeps in touch with Stefano by SMS as he is away on business for a while.
Under the invitation by Stella, "friend" of Matt (which will clarify the link with Stefano and Matt in this second chapter), Cristina tries to meet Matt and to understand what is happening in his life and why he's letting go.
But as happens every time Icy Eyes and the Ruby of the MSA are in the same room, the encounter inevitably turns into a clash of bodies and of few words, where the words, even if a few times are to injure and where bodies do not hesitate to recall how much, these two souls, darn similar and stubborn, are boundto each other.
This couple literally sparkles, the predator that is Cris from the "best of" trying with words to keep the distance from this feeling that overwhelms her, but the words are not always accompanied by action, oozing incessantly attraction against Matt.
Then there's Stefano, who returns from his trip and asks Cris to spend a week with him during which it will try to convince her to "throw" the mask behind which he believes she lurks the real Christina and makes her love him, who will be gently way into her heart ... and here, excuse the bluntness, but I'm beginning to really get mad, you're asking why, true? But because even throughout the second book I wanted to slap Cristina, maybe a bucket of ice water would awakened her by this constant need for sex, regardless of partner, and above all this constant push and pull from Stef and Matt and these statements now one, now another that make you crazy ... Matt and Stefano are two characters too different to create such indecision, like day and night, it is impossible not to know what you want and continue to hold these two men poised and at her doorstep. I found so many times wondering why Cristina, in an almost incessant way, tortures Matt with her provocations, much to bring him on the verge of a nervous breakdown and to alienation: why will come but, as it may now understand, I do not justify her. On the other hand I must admit that Stefano initially gave me the idea of the type with good manners who just wanted to avert Cristina from Matt, not accompanied by a genuine interest in the person of Cris ... and to date the end of the second book I still have my doubts. I think it is understood that sided with Matt: Yeah, because you know that it is inevitable to find yourself siding with one of the two male leads as you read this story, not to mention the shadow of Federico, who is always present and that does not seem to go away ... indeed.
Matt, though he may not be as perfect and sometimes his actions are not justified, inevitably attracts my irrational part with his figure so charismatic, attractive and nothing short of passionate. Stefano is tender, attentive, stimulates the better side of Christina, but while I understand that I just can not favor him.
You must absolutely read this trilogy to understand the torment that these books elicit. Chiara has a masterful writing, and, thanks to its ability to overwhelm the events, she make you feel many conflicting feelings that make you aflame while the long sweep of the story. The unique style of this young Italian author manages to enchant you with passion and originality ... of course I do not deny that at times she was "sadistic" in respect of her readers who are desperate and nervous for some scenes and she choices that do not make you, after two books, yet to figure out where wants to end the predator of the MSA, the Ruby of Matt Stanton, the tiger of Stefano Diamanti ... Cristina Cabrisi, which is a mixed blessing for this novel!"

Review on Libri da favola ♥

Read the review on Libri da Favola.

"You know, Chiara Cilli won me over with her novels, her stories and her writing style. With this novel she has done nothing but confirm her talent.
Deadly Imprisonment is the second novel in the The Queen of the Underworld series and I must confess up front that I have not read the first novel in the series but I can assure you that I did not have any problem to understand and get into the story.

At the beginning of the novel we find Galadir, the Prince of Thera, the Land of Men, imprisoned in the presence of Deshre, the Goddess of Death, who took possession of the body and the mind of Morwen, Queen of the Underworld and Galadir's lover. Convinced that his lover is still alive, Galadir decides to fight to survive. In this case, the novel's title is apt as the novel's protagonist faces a prison in which he fights for survival: fight, not metaphorically but seriously. In fact, his body as well as his soul will be put to the test.
Galadir becomes a sort of gladiator in an arena in which faces challenges to the death against bloodthirsty warriors and creatures of all kinds, and his executioner, Deshre, with various torture will take him more than once in point of death.

All of this novel enchanted me, the hero with his fortitude, his perseverance and his strong character, Deshre that is a real badass and all the other characters that make the story so complete and original.
The places, the characters very well characterized and the plot made this novel worth reading.

Chiara Cilli has created a wonderful story that will captivate you: I will not reveal anything more of the plot because it deserves to be discovered little by little as I did. I can only confirm the author's skill, originality and imagination and I highly recommend her novels."
