Excerpt: A Smutty Scene from the Mechanical Universe
Since I already shared a snippet from one of the two Mechanical Universe stories I'm working on I figured I might as well share another. This is a sexy scene from the longer of the two stories I'm writing, set in the same universe as A Matter of Disagreement and Duende.

2013 in review and some of my writing goals for 2014
2013 was a great year for me writing wise. I published a bunch of book that I am deeply proud of. I was nominated for three awards, made some amazing contacts, new friends and wrote some blog entries and guest posts about things I care a lot about.

Christmas Wishes and a (rather long) Christmas Story Snippet
Hello all,
visiting with my family for the Holidays and enjoying every minute of it. I started writing this story as a Holiday short but it then got out of hand. I had hoped to finish and edit it by now but unfortunately my sister's kitten bit through my power cord for my computer as soon as I got to her house and things just went down hill from there as far as the story was concerned.
I apologize for the roughness of this snippet and expect to have the full story out sometime next year....

Recently I purchased a "Bendable Bobby"(name given by the manufacturer) or a "Otto"(name given by the retailer) realistic pack and play dildo.

Like Fire Through Bone: Revisited
A few days ago I got a review for Like Fire Through Bone that started off: "Unusual and engrossing tale with a well-developed viewpoint character. The intriguing slow-burn romance shared focus with a nicely paced linear plot."
I have been amazing at the really positive response Like Fire Through Bone as received. The vast majority of the reviews I have gotten have been positive.

Writing Effeminate Masculinities
A while ago Talya Andor wrote a great blog post about effeminate men and why there are so few in m/m romance. She quite rightly tied it to misogyny and the fact that in our society everything thought of as 'womanly' is automatically labeled as weak or of lesser value.
