Um, Hilarious
If you go to the gym, you MUST read this post. (Even if you don’t it’s worth checking out.) I can’t help but think of “Burn After Reading.”
Rant of the Day
The Empire State Building shooting.
It’s amazing all the incorrect media reporting that can emanate from the “media capital of the world.” First it was a terrorist strike, then it wasn’t. Then the gunman opened fire on the crowd, then he didn’t.
I’m not making light of the tragedy; two people apparently in a workplace dispute lost their lives in a heinous way.
But, maybe it’s time to send the NYPD to the range more than once a year? (That’s assuming they’ve ever been to a range.) As more of the CORRECT reporting comes out I can’t help but think of Police Academy. So, we had the Times Square shooting a few weeks ago in which the cops missed with half their shots. Luckily no innocent people were hit. Not so in the case of the Empire State Building where ALL of the victims outside of the shooter and his target were hit by COPS. WTF?!

Do we have Mahoney, Tackleberry, and Hightower out there patrolling the streets?
Anyway, shooting a gun isn’t easy. It’s not like the movies where they use one hand and can hit a penny lined up on a wall a mile away while running full speed sideways and ducking under road signs. That said, police officers shouldn’t be such bad shots, especially those stationed in Midtown, one of the most crowded places on the planet. Mr. Police Commissioner, PLEASE send them all to the range!
