Third Review, "Vivetal"
Don’t lie, I know you want to read these. (Winky face.)
Much better reception as compared to “Flexon Vale” (so far), and it’s not really that surprising. “Flexon Vale” is a more controversial book—a dark satire that focuses on a greedy fund manager and a slutty real estate executive—while “Vivetal” is simply good old-fashioned sci-fi/fantasy action.

Not having read Raeden Zen previous I was not sure what to expect in this somewhat dystopian novel that has some Steampunk underpinnings. But I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed the short novella.
Although a bit cool in his characters the sci-fi is very well written and believable. The world is well described and the action scenes read true. But that is the one problem with the novel, it is almost all action with no real character development. My one complaint.
Other than that, I loved this story and am interested in the series to be built around it. I think if the author can bring a little more “humanity” into his characters he will find himself with a well received and high selling series.
