Michael Vaughan: Ricky Ponting's decision should herald a massive change in Australia's cricket philosophy

It would have been very hard for Ricky Ponting to make the decision to stand down as Australia captain. I know what he will have gone through over the past few days and, even though it is the right move for Australian cricket, it does not make it easy to admit you want to give up something you love doing.
