Obama's new flag looks like bloody Benghazi wall
Circulating on the Internet is a combined image of a bloody hand in the last moments of life clutching at a wall at the U.S. compound in Benghazi where Ambassador Christopher Stephens was murdered and the U.S. flag redesigned with the Obama logo where the stars are typically placed.

The point being drawn – the similarity of the images – is a graphic criticism of the Obama campaign’s indulgence in the Obama cult of personality, while the Obama administration neglects to provide adequate security for our diplomatic personnel currently in danger as the Arab Spring turns to a Muslim Brotherhood radical Fall.
National security, which had not emerged as an issue in the 2012 presidential campaign, was thrust front-and-center after the Sept. 12 terrorist attack in Libya and the rioting last week across the Muslim world.
As Barack Obama prepares to address the United Nations on Tuesday, the hope for democracy the Obama administration expressed during the 2011 Arab Spring had given way to the radical Muslim Brotherhood hijacking democratic elections across the Middle East in what is increasingly becoming known as the 2012 Arab Fall.
In question, is the apparent collapse of an Obama foreign policy predicated on the theory that greater understanding of the Muslim world in the United States would moderate radical Islam in the Middle East.
The artist combining these images has not been identified; WND first observed the combined images on the Jawa Report website.
The combined Obama redesigned U.S. flag placed on top of the bloody hand wall in Benghazi also drew a firestorm of criticism last week on Twitter.
The American flag redesigned by the Obama 2012 presidential campaign with the Obama logo in the place of the stars and five red-orange painted lines in place of the red stripes was offered for sale last week on BarackObama.com.
The advertisement for the redesigned Obama flag appears to have removed from the campaign website after criticism the American victims in Libya were desecrated and disrespected by the Obama campaign.

Britain’s Daily Mail was among the first to publicize the photos of the bloody hand on the Benghazi wall, arguing that the bloodstains on the column were from one of the American staff members who grabbed the edge of the column, in the attack that killed four Americans, including Ambassador Christopher Stevens, on Sept. 11.

“In the wake of the deadly U.S. consulate attack in Libya’s second-largest city, disturbing images have emerged of the embassy, which is now little more than bloodied rubble that has been looted, torched, and trampled upon,” the Daily Mail wrote.
“The embassy, located in Libya’s second-largest city, was an easy target as it had not been equipped to withstand a riot, and as such, did not have bullet-proof glass or reinforced doors, reports said,” the Daily Mail continued.
Romney attacks Obama 'war on coal'
Just as the Republican-controlled House of Representatives this week approved a package of bills called the “Stop the War on Coal Act,” Gov. Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign is releasing a pair of television ads attacking Obama on coal energy.
Romney charges that contrary to Obama campaign promises, the Environmental Protection Agency under Obama’s direction is waging a “war on coal” that will cause dramatic losses of jobs in coal-producing states and the closure of coal-based power plants around the country.
On Tuesday, the Associated Press reported coal producer Alpha National Resources announced it was cutting production by 16 million tons and eliminating 1,200 jobs companywide, including the loss of 400 jobs as a result of immediate mine closings in two battleground states in the presidential election – Pennsylvania and Virginia – as well as in West Virginia, a solidly Republican state.
The layoffs, amounting to nearly one-tenth of Alpha’s workforce, reflect the company’s shift of focus away from thermal coal used in domestic power generation to metallurgical coal used in steelmaking overseas.
An analysis released Tuesday by the American Coalition for Clean Coal Electricity, or ACCCE, found 204 coal-fired power units in 25 states will have to close, partly because of regulations issued by the Environmental Protection Agency that regulate water pollution from coal mining and air pollution from coal burning.
Five states that combined have 103 coal units are scheduled to shut down because of Obama administration restrictions: Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia and North Carolina – four of which are battleground states in the 2012 presidential election.
In May, Yahoo News reported the Obama campaign website added “clean coal” to its list of energy priorities after Republican lawmakers noted the omission and a federal prisoner received about 40 percent of the vote against Obama in the Democratic primary in West Virginia.
Rep. Ed Whitfield, R-Ky., the chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee’s Subcommittee on Energy Power, was particularly upset about the Obama campaign’s omission of coal in its list of energy priorities.
“Many of us get upset about that because [coal] has a tremendous economic impact on our country, it provides a lot of jobs, and it makes us competitive in the global marketplace because coal is still a valuable resource,” Whitfield told the Wall Street Journal.

Through 2013, the EPA plans to implement new rules designed to curb pollution from coal-fired power plants.
Experts estimate that the regulations will cost utilities up to $129 billion and force the retirement of up to 20 percent of the nation’s coal capacity, as reported by the Washington Post.
Given that coal now provides approximately 45 percent of U.S. electric power, the new EPA regulations, characterized as a regulatory “train wreck” by critics, inevitably mean the closing of possibly dozens of electric plants and higher electric bills.
The U.S. is still regarded as “the Saudi Arabia of coal.”
The U.S. Energy Information Administration estimates the U.S. has 267 billion tons of economically recoverable coal, enough for 240 years at current usage rates.
Even at 200 billion tons of economically recoverable coal, experts estimate that amount of coal could supply more 100 years of electricity to the entire nation, yield a trillion barrels of oil using coal-to-liquid synthetic oil technology, or provide over 2,000 trillion cubic feet of substitute natural gas.
Sen. James Inhofe, R-Okla., who wrote “The Greatest Hoax” about the “global warming conspiracy,” said the decision by the U.S. House this week to approve the “Stop the War on Coal Act” was a good beginning.
“I applaud the bipartisan House passage of the ‘Stop the War on Coal Act,’” Inhofe said. “Over the past four years we have witnessed an unrelenting attack by the Obama administration on American energy production – one that has resulted in lost jobs, higher energy prices, and lessened energy security.
“[The] decisive achievement in the House stands in stark contrast to the stalling and inaction of the Senate. Many of my Senate colleagues have talked at length about unleashing American energy production and reining in the Obama-EPA, but when the opportunity arises to do so they hide behind cover votes. As these senators head home to hit the campaign trail, their record is clear and excuses only go so far: thanks to many of them, the far-left policies of the Obama-EPA remain unchecked and will go forward harming American families with higher energy prices and lost jobs.”

More confusion about Obama's real father
His father taught him to love jazz?
So claims an email dispatched this week from the Obama campaign soliciting a donation for a chance to have “Dinner with Barack,” with airfare “on us.”
But the claim is not credible, contends Joel Gilbert, whose documentary “Dreams from My Real Father” has just been released.
“How is this possible?” Gilbert asked.
“Obama’s official life story claims he was with Barack Obama, the Kenyan, only one time, in the early 1970s, and then briefly, for a week or 10 days,” he explained.
“How was that enough time to teach 9-year-old Obama to love jazz music? Besides, jazz is uniquely American. Besides, what evidence is there the Kenyan dug Coltrane?”

Nevertheless, on Monday Gilbert received an email solicitation from Julianna Smoot, deputy campaign manager of Obama for America.
The same announcement also was posted on the campaign website, encouraging voters to try to win a dinner with President Obama.
Smoot spelled out some of the benefits the winner will enjoy.
“You can learn a lot: His dad taught him to love jazz, his girls get crazy-embarrassed when he dances or sings in public, his dream job is starting point guard for the Chicago Bulls – and he really looks forward to sharing these meals with supporters like you.”

Gilbert’s first reaction was to assume the Obama campaign was conceding to the major premise of his documentary: that Frank Marshall Davis was the real, biological and ideological father of Barack Obama, not Barack Obama, the Kenyan, who came from Africa in 1959 to attend the University of Hawaii in Honolulu.
“There can be no arguing that there never was an opportunity for the Kenyan Obama to teach Barry to love jazz,” Gilbert told WND. “However, there was a man who raised Obama who was a jazz aficionado, his name was Frank Marshall Davis.”
Gilbert viewed the ad as a breakthrough.
“It appears the Obama campaign is finally admitting I’m right, that Frank Marshall Davis, the Communist Party USA propagandist and Marxist, was his real father. So there you have it, Obama is a red diaper baby.”
In contrast to the Kenyan Obama, Frank Marshall Davis was widely recognized as a lover of jazz and an expert.
Davis befriended jazz musicians in Chicago, where he was a DJ for a short time on a jazz radio station, WJJD.
After coming to Hawaii in 1948 to help organize the communist-controlled ILWU trade union, Davis wrote a column in the communist-run Honolulu Record newspaper in which he regularly wrote about jazz.

Davis also maintained a large collection of jazz records.
In “Dreams from My Real Father,” Gilbert displays nude photos of Obama’s mother, Ann Dunham, taken at what he determined was Davis’ house at 2994 Kalihi Street in Honolulu.
In the one of the photos, a record player and record collection are clearly visible.
Two jazz record albums are easily identified – Nat King Cole’s “Love is the Thing” and Stan Kenton’s “Cuban Fire.”
“Now Obama needs to come clean and tell us what Davis taught him about Marxist ideology and destroying the middle class,” Gilbert said. “I would love to go to dinner with Barack Obama and find out all the things his real father taught him, not just “a love of jazz music.”
Still, Gilbert does not plan to donate to the Obama campaign to enter into the contest to win the dinner, but he encourages others to do so.
Borrowing a line from Smoot’s email, he quipped: “If you win, I will expect a full report!”

Birds of a feather? Obama, Muslim Brotherhood
What caused Barack Obama to turn against the late Libyan dictator, Muammar Gadhafi?
What is clear is that the moment Gadhafi became inconvenient to the Muslim Brotherhood, Gadhafi became inconvenient to Obama.
In April 2011, during the height of the Arab Spring, Christopher Stevens arrived in Benghazi, Libya, aboard a Greek cargo ship carrying a dozen American diplomats with enough guards, vehicles and equipment “to set up a diplomatic beachhead in the middle of an armed rebellion,” as the New York Times reported.
Stevens’ goal in landing in Benghazi in 2011 was to represent the Obama administration in support of the rebels who were trying at that time to oust Gadhafi from power.
Yet, only a year before, in April 2010, Gadhafi gave a speech calling Obama a “friend” who was a blessing to the Muslim world.
“Now ruling America is a black man from our continent, an African from Arab descent, from Muslim descent, and this is something we never imagined – that from Reagan we would get to Barack Obama,” Gadhafi said.
“He is someone I consider a friend. He knows he is a son of Africa. Regardless of his African belonging, he is of Arab Sudanese descent, or of Muslim descent. He is a man whose policy should be supported, and he should be assisted in implementing it in any way possible, since he is now leaning toward peace.”
In reviewing the history, Gadhafi had close and long-standing economic ties to Obama and those close to Obama, including his former pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright; Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan; and Raila Odinga, the current prime minister of Kenya.
Still, it’s unlikely Stevens and the State Department would never have landed in Benghazi in 2011 if Obama did not want Gadhafi toppled.
Did the Obama administration abandon Gadhafi because he stood in the way of the Muslim Brotherhood plan to ride the Arab Spring to power, replacing established dictatorships with Islamist states?
WND has reported the penetration of Muslim Brotherhood influence in the inner circles of the White House and the State Department.
WND has also reported that the Muslim Brotherhood in Libya harbored al-Qaida and that an al-Qaida operative released by the United States from Guantanamo Bay turns out to have led the attack that killed Stevens, the diplomat who went to such personal lengths to help the Libyan rebels depose Gadhafi.
What the establishment media is ignoring is how deep and long-standing the ties between Obama and Gadhafi truly were and the national security danger Obama may well have invited by allowing the Muslim Brotherhood to enter the inner circles of power under his watch as president.
Wright and Farrakhan visit Libya
In 1984, Wright accompanied Farrakhan to Libya, where they met with Gadhafi.
Referring to the relationship between Libya and the Nation of Islam, theology professor Mattias Gardell, in his book “In the Name of Elijah Muhammad: Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam,” commented on pages 205-206 that Gadhafi has “for many years been the Nation’s most prominent supporter in the Islamic heart-land and regularly has assisted the Nation of Islam whenever the need has arisen.”
Farrakhan found great affinity with the revolutionary Islamic socialism professed by Gadhafi.
Gardell noted: “The mutual sympathy and appreciation between the Nation of Islam and the Libyan leadership began as a continuation of the friendly relationship that, to the annoyance of the CIA, was established between Elijah Muhammad and [Gadhafi's] first mentor, Gamal abd al-Nassar.”
In 1972, in a second tour of the Muslim world, Elijah Muhammad and a personal delegation that included boxer Muhammad Ali visited Libya as honored guests of state and met with Gadhafi.
The same year, Libya provided an interest-free, never-repaid loan of $3 million to the Nation of Islam, permitting it to buy and renovate a Greek Orthodox Church on Chicago’s South Side that became its national headquarters.
WND has reported gave an additional $5 million to Farrakhan in 1985 for the Nation of Islam’s “economic development” programs.
On the occasion of Gadhafi’s first visit to the United States in 2009, to address the United Nations, Farrakhan was still thanking Gadhafi for his 1972 largess as well as the additional $5 million.
Gadhafi also provided the funding for Farrakhan’s dozen of international trips before and immediately after the Million Man March in 1991, a Nation of Islam event attended by both Wright and Obama.
In a 1995 interview with the Chicago Reader, Obama acknowledged that he took time off from his first political campaign, for the Illinois state Senate, to participate in the Million Man March.
When the Chicago Reader article surfaced, Obama supporters tried to distance Obama from the march, arguing he had attended the event as an observer, not as a participant.
Still, Obama’s reaction at the time was enthusiastic.
“What I saw was a powerful demonstration of an impulse and need for African-American men to come together to recognize each other and affirm our rightful place in the society,” he told the Chicago Reader. “There was a profound sense that African-American men were ready to make a commitment to bring about change in our communities and lives.”
Gadhafi funds Odinga
In 2007, after he lost the Kenyan presidential election to Mwai Kibaki, Raila Odinga claimed election fraud. The charge led to a wave of tribal violence in which the Luo tribe of which Obama and Odinga are members killed some 1,500 Kikuyu, the majority tribe in Kenya to which Kibaki belongs. The violence displaced another estimated 350,000 to 500,000 who fled their homes.
In a horrifying incident following the election, at least 50 people, including women and children, were killed when an angry Luo mob forced Kikuyu Christians into an Assemblies of God church in Eldoret, a small village about 185 miles northwest of Nairobi, setting fire to the church and hacking to death with machetes any of the Christians who tried to escape the flames.
Intervention by former U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan, then-U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and then-U.S. Sen. Barack Obama calmed the tribal violence by negotiating an extra-constitutional arrangement in which Kibaki as president of Kenya would be co-head of state, with Odinga elevated to the newly created position of Kenyan prime minister.
Odinga ends up having deep ties to both Gadhafi and Obama.
Odinga’s wealth traces back to oil revenue set up by the Al-Bakri Group in Saudi Arabia and by Gadhafi in Libya.
In 2006, during his senatorial trip to Kenya, Obama campaigned so extensively for Odinga, then running for president of Kenya, that government spokesman Alfred Mutua went on television to accuse Obama of meddling inappropriately in Kenyan presidential politics.
In the final weeks of the 2008 U.S. presidential campaign, an internal funding memo smuggled out of the campaign accounting section of the Odinga campaign was obtained by WND in Kenya.
The funding memo listed 72 top individuals and organizations contributing to Odinga’s presidential campaign, including $1 million donated by “Friends of Senator BO,” widely interpreted as friends of Senator Barack Obama. A second contribution of approximately $1 million was donated by Seif-Al-Islam Gadhafi, the son of Muammar al-Gadhafi.
Little noticed in the deal Obama arranged to merge Chrysler with Italian automaker Fiat – which cost taxpayers $7 billion and Fiat virtually no cash – is how Gadhafi benefited.
Libya at the time of the transaction owned a 2- to 3-percent equity stake in Fiat, thus making Gadhafi, who then controlled the wealth of Libya, a direct beneficiary of the transaction designed to favor Fiat, as pointed out by columnist Scott Wheeler in Townhall.com.
Obama funds Gadhafi
A public address delivered by Gadhafi on June 11, 2008, scheduled to mark the anniversary of the 1986 U.S. air raid President Reagan directed on Gadhafi’s bunker in Tripoli, suggested the Libyan dictator may have found a way to contribute financially to Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign.
As translated by the Middle East Research Institute, or MEMRI, here is what Gadhafi said:
There are elections in American now. Along came a black citizen of Kenyan African origins, a Muslim, who had studied in an Islamic school in Indonesia. His name is Obama. All the people in the Arab and Islamic world and in Africa applauded this man. They welcomed him and prayed for him and his success, and they may have even been involved in legitimate campaign contributions to enable him to win the American presidency.
Gadhafi did not elaborate on how he may have contributed to Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign, but the implication is certainly that he did.
In 2010, Obama earmarked $400,000 of taxpayer funds for two Libyan charities, Gadhafi International Charity and Development Foundation, run by Gadhafi’s son, and Wa Attassimou, run by Gadhafi’s daughter Aicha, as reported by author Camie Davis in the American Thinker.
What did Gadhafi do with the funds?
Gadhafi’s International Charity and Development Foundation bankrolled the Amalthea, the Moldovan-flagged Greek-registered cargo ship carrying 15 pro-Palestinian activists and 2,000 tons of food and medicine that tried to run the Israeli blockade in July 2010 by heading toward port in Gaza, only to sail for the Egyptian port of El-Arish after the Israelis threatened to intercept the ship to prevent it from reaching the Gaza coastline.
None other than Chicago-based former Weather Underground bomber Bill Ayers and his radical wife, Bernardine Dohrn, masterminded the Gaza flotilla campaign through the Free Gaza Movement, a coalition of leftist groups that included radical activist and Democratic Party fundraiser Jodie Evans, the co-founder of Code Pink.
Friend turned tyrant?
On Oct. 20, 2011, after video of Gadhafi being killed was shown worldwide, Obama appeared in the Rose Garden to announce, “The dark shadow of tyranny has been lifted.”
Remarkably, few in the establishment media bothered to examine what happened to change a seemingly close relationship between Obama and Gadhafi that included Obama reaching out at a Group of Eight summit in 2009 to be the first U.S. president to shake hands with Gadhafi.
Clearly, Gadhafi must have been surprised to see Obama turn on him.
As late as March 19, 2011, Gadhafi sent a message to Obama, calling Obama “our son,” asking the U.S. president to defend Gadhafi’s decision to send the military to attack the rebels seeking to overthrow him.
The ascendency of the Muslim Brotherhood caused the demise of Gadhafi, but will the same be true of Obama?
The Romney campaign may be well advised to reframe President Reagan’s famous question for foreign policy as well: “Are we safer today than we were as a nation four years ago?”
Could same-sex marriage cost Obama black vote?
If Barack Obama is counting on the 96 percent of African-American voters who supported him in 2008 to do the same in November, he has reason to worry.
“It is time for black Christians to have the faith and courage to refuse to associate with the Democratic Party that has become anti-Christian, anti-Israel, anti-Church, anti-Bible, anti-life, anti-family and anti-God,” said Bishop E. W. Jackson Sr., president of the group STAND, Staying True to America’s National Destiny.
Jackson is leading an effort, called Exodus Now, that is heralded as the first time a nationally prominent black pastor has called on African-Americans to leave the Democratic Party since the black community’s political realignment with Democrats in the 1960s.
In a message posted on YouTube, Jackson calls on black Christians to end “the slavish devotion to the Democratic Party.”
A report released in July by the National Urban League, “The Hidden Swing Voters: Impact of African-Americans in 2012,” concluded that if the national turnout rate of African-American voters went back to the 2004 rate of 60 percent, instead of the 65 percent who turned out in 2008, Obama could lose the election.
The study concluded African-American voters were a deciding factor in Obama’s 2008 victories in North Carolina, Virginia, Indiana and Florida.
In what Jackson hopes will be a historical re-alignment of African-American voters away from the Democratic Party, black Christian ministers have begun resisting Obama’s recently expressed support for same-sex marriage and the administration’s determination to advance an LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender) agenda that WND has reported includes the State Department under Secretary Hillary Clinton aggressive recruiting LGBT individuals for foreign service assignments in nations where homosexuality is illegal.
“We are not here to endorse Mitt Romney,” Jackson told a press conference held at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., on Sept. 10.
“We are not here to say that Christians and Jews must join the Republican Party or any other party. What we are here to say is that the Democratic Party has shown itself to be so inimical to the biblical values of Christians and Jews that it is time for a mass exodus. The Democratic Party has turned its back on us, it’s time to turn our back on them.”

Jackson said that by making same-sex marriage an official part of its platform, the Democratic Party “has brought the conflict between liberal progressives and Bible believers to the point of irreconcilability.”
He took exception to Chai Feldblum, the LGBT activist Obama appointed to head the Equal Opportunity Commission, who contended that she had a hard time coming up with a case in which religious liberty should win when there is a conflict between religious liberty and sexual liberty.
“Clearly, she, along with many of her Democratic elite colleagues, believe that their radical agenda of ‘sexual liberty’ – that is never mentioned in the Constitution – trumps the institution of marriage and supersedes the First Amendment rights of Americans’ freedoms of religion as guaranteed by the Constitution,” Jackson argued.
Jackson also objected that sexual progressives compare LGBT rights with the fight against racial discrimination undertaken by the civil rights movement.
“As a black Christian, I am particularly incensed that the Democratic Party has co-opted the civil rights struggle,” he said.
“They have created an unholy alliance with Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry, which has killed unborn black babies by the tens of millions,” said Jackson. “Margaret Sanger, Planned Parenthood founder, has been far more lethal to black lives than the KKK ever was.”

Secret retirement plans: Does Obama expect to lose?
$35 million Hawaii estate regarded as possible Obama retirement home
Are Obama insiders secretly making retirement plans for the Obamas with the expectation the president will lose his bid for re-election in November?
Very quietly, Obama’s chief financier, Penny Pritzker, has entered the Hawaii housing market to buy a retirement home for the president and his family that will be available not in 2016, but in January 2013, according to a confidential source within Pritzker’s Chicago organization
Pritzker, a wealthy Chicago business executive and heiress to the Hyatt Hotels fortune, served as national finance chairman for Obama’s 2008 campaign and is the co-chairman of his 2012 effort.
The source told WND that highly confidential internal polls conducted by the Obama campaign indicate Obama cannot win re-election, despite public surveys that show him in the lead.
“The public polls are mostly political,” the source argued. “Obama radicals want Romney supporters to feel discouraged and give up. Truth is that Romney’s winning.”
The source further told WND that Pritzker is experiencing frustration in her fundraising efforts, as wealthy donors who contributed generously to Obama in 2008 are not even returning her phone calls.
The source said Pritzker is “reminding everyone how generous to their supporters the Clintons were when they left office.”
“Everything is for sale. Ambassadorships, government grants, stimulus money – you name it,” the source told WND.
“There’s nearly three months between the Nov. 6 election and the Jan. 20 inauguration – plenty of time to hand out goodies to friends from the Oval Office.”

Pritzker is telling potential donors that the Obamas have no intention of returning to Chicago when they leave the White House, according to the source.
She is also raising money for the Obama presidential library and museum, which also are slated for Hawaii.
Pritzker’s search for a developed property, suitable for occupancy four months from now, instead of property where a custom-designed estate might be built, is further indication that insiders believe Obama will not be re-elected.
Kevin DuJan, founder and editor of HillBuzz.org, first reported Pritzker was acting as a proxy to purchase a $35 million oceanfront estate in Kailua, the “Beverly Hills of Hawaii,” on the northeast shore of the island of Oahu.
DuJan reported billionaire Pritzker herself may contribute up to half the $35 million purchase price of the future Obama residence.

The property that appears to fit the description is an estate seen in a recent episode of the popular television show “Hawaii Five-O.”
As featured recently in Honolulu Magazine, the property consists of a main residence and a guest home located on 1.5 acres in an area called “Beachfront,” just before the Lanikai neighborhood in Kailua on Oahu’s Windward Coast.
Jeff Kerr of Kerr Michaels Design told Honolulu Magazine he designed the estate to replicate properties constructed in Hawaii in the early 1900s.

The interior of the house is 8,419 square feet, with another 5,359 square feet of lanai area. The main house has five bedrooms, five baths, two powder rooms, a professional media room and a cabana adjacent to the pool and spa.
A panoramic tour of the world-class, beachfront property can be taken on the Internet, allowing the viewer to “walk through” the home and see its expansive views of the Pacific Ocean.
Signals Obama will leave Chicago behind
In recent months, various members of the Obama family have been indicating that the family does not intend to return to Chicago when the Obama presidency ends.
On Sept. 14, the Weekly Standard reported Michelle Obama was asked by a school child during a visit to a Virginia YMCA where the Obamas would live if President Obama loses.
The first lady said the family would figure that out later, according to the pool report.
In an interview with USA Today in May, Michelle Obama de-emphasized the importance of returning to Chicago.
“So this is home in many ways,” she said, speaking about Chicago. “I mean, we have a house that has stuff in it back in Chicago. We have friends that we love who we invite here all the time.

“But the truth is,” she said, “is that if you plucked us up and put us anywhere right now, what we’d know with this change is that we’re always a family when we’re together. And in the end, that’s what really matters.”

Media bypass: 'Dreams' mailed to 1 million
One million copies of the documentary film that presents evidence Barack Obama’s real father was Communist Party activist Frank Marshall Davis have been mailed to households in the crucial presidential-election swing state Ohio.
Filmmaker Joel Gilbert told WND his mass distribution of his documentary “Dreams from My Real Father” is an attempt to bypass an establishment media blackout.

Despite the fact that the DVD of his film has been the No. 1 documentary on Amazon.com for weeks, Gilbert said, the establishment media “is still refusing to cover the film, so it remains hard to break through nationally.”
With a population of more than 11 million, Ohio has an estimated 4.5 million households.
Gilbert also has sent another 100,000 copies to New Hampshire, and he has plans to send 1 million to six more swing states.
His effort through his company, Highway 61 Entertainment, is governed by the 2010 Citizens United Supreme Court decision, which barred government from restricting independent political expenditures by corporations and unions.
In his film, he argues that Davis, the radical poet and journalist who was a card-carrying member of the Communist Party USA, was not only Obama’s ideological father but his biological father, not the Kenyan Barack Hussein Obama, who came from Africa in 1959 to attend the University of Hawaii.
“Barack Obama built his political career on personal appeal – the son of a Kenyan goat herder who stood above politics,” Gilbert explained.
“However, ‘Dreams from My Real Father’ demonstrates that Obama has a deeply disturbing family background, which he intentionally obscured, to hide a Marxist political foundation. ‘Dreams from My Real Father’ is the story Barack Obama should have told, revealing his true agenda for ‘fundamentally transforming America.’”
Doing the job for media won’t do
Gilbert said another reason the establishment media is reluctant to cover his findings is because it would expose the poor job they have done investigating Obama’s background.
“I have been to Hawaii twice researching Obama’s inspiring family story of a Kenyan goat herder father,” he said. “That is twice as many times as all of the mainstream media combined.
“Who could have imagined that news organizations with hundreds of reporters and multimillion-dollar budgets wouldn’t investigate a presidential candidate’s background in 2008 and would ignore doing so again in 2012?” he asked.
Gilbert told WND he believes the publicity resulting from the mailing of 1 million DVDs to Ohio will help “Dreams from My Real Father” remain relevant for years, whether or not Obama is reelected.
“The president of the United States promoted a false family background to hide a Marxist political foundation he received from his real father, a Communist Party USA propagandist,” he said.

“I think this should be a major news story of the young century, an example of investigative journalism by a grassroots film production company versus a corrupt and lazy mainstream media. The mainstream media would not do their jobs, so I did it for them.”
Not a sudden` phenomenon
Beginning this week, Gilbert began shipping the 1.1 million DVDs of “Dreams from My Real Father” directly to households throughout the states of Ohio and New Hampshire.
Gilbert understands that getting the American public to understand that the official Obama nativity story is a fabrication will not be an easy task.
“Obama’s election was not a sudden political phenomenon,” he explained. “It was the culmination of an American socialist movement that Frank Marshall Davis nurtured in Chicago and Hawaii and has been quietly infiltrating the U.S. economy, universities and media for decades.”
Gilbert told WND that plans are in the works to send millions more DVDs of “Dreams from My Real Father” across the nation.
“Immediate plans are in place to extend the free DVD mailer publicity program state by state, million by million, until the mainstream media covers it,” Gilbert stressed.
Worker prepares to mail out 'Dreams from My Real Father'
He said he plans next to mail a million DVDs to Florida, Virginia, Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana and Illinois.
“We can manufacture and ship 1 million DVDs per day out of Southern California,” he explained.
“In the meantime, the 1 million DVD mailing to Ohio households, and 100,000 to New Hampshire, should force the mainstream media to pay attention. This will help expand the market for the film into television, video on demand and even internationally.”
Our only hope
As Gilbert explained in a video the effort to duplicate, package and prepare for mailing the first batch of 1 million DVDs.
“The media simply can’t ignore 1 million free DVDs to Ohio; it is very newsworthy,” Gilbert said. “I encourage everyone who gets a DVD in the mail to watch it, share it with friends and contact the news media to discuss the information in the film.”
His decision to mail 1 million DVD’s was announced July 19 at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.
“The video of my speech went viral on You Tube,” he said. “Shortly thereafter, we sent out around 200,000 free DVDs to Ohio and another 50,000 to Nevada.”
Gilbert told WND he hopes the 1 million DVD mailing to Ohio will stimulate “Dreams from My Real Father” sales, a television deal and possibly even a theatrical release in movie theaters around the nation.
He said he got the idea to mail out the DVDS when he received an email from a Vietnam veteran, Bern Nilson, in Denver that underscored the importance of the November election and the crucial role his film could play.
Nilson wrote: “We are on the verge of losing the Constitution. Freedom and liberty are in jeopardy. As a Vietnam war veteran, I ask, what did I fight for? Please, can you get this information out to millions? It is our only hope!”

Arpaio investigator: Hawaii still covering up for Obama
Mike Zullo, the lead investigator in Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s investigation of Barack Obama’s eligibility to be president, says he has returned from a second trip to Hawaii with additional evidence the state’s Department of Health is maintaining a cover-up of Obama’s 1961 birth records.
When Arpaio dispatched Zullo for the second trip, the assignment was kept confidential for Zullo’s safety and to prevent media leaks. Only Arpaio and the chief deputy of the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office were aware of the assignment.
In Honolulu, Zullo worked closely with local contacts, including Duncan Sunahara, the brother of Virginia Sunahara, an infant child born in Hawaii Aug. 4, 1961, the same day Obama was born, and died the next day.
As WND reported, Virginia Sunahara entered as a figure in the Obama birth controversy because no birth certificate for her had been located, leading to speculation her birth certificate could have been the source of Obama’s.
Duncan Sunahara has tried to obtain a copy of his sister’s original birth certificate but has been denied.
“I was shocked by the lengths the Hawaii Department of Health has gone to deny the family of Virginia Sunahara a copy of the original long-form birth certificate that the family is lawfully entitled to request and obtain,” Zullo told WND. “I had to ask the question why this little girl’s 1961 long-form birth certificate was so disconcerting to the Hawaii Department of Health?”
DHOH stonewalls
Zullo obtained from Duncan Sunahara a copy of proceedings in the Hawaii Circuit Court of the First Circuit in which Hawaii Deputy Attorney General Jill Nagamine appeared before Judge Rhonda Nishimura on March 8, 2012, to argue Duncan Sunahara was not entitled under Hawaii statutes to observe or obtain a copy of his sister’s original 1961 long-form birth certificate.
During the proceeding, Nagamine argued that Duncan Sunahara’s request did not derive from a true interest to examine or obtain a copy of his sister’s original birth records, to which he was entitled under Hawaii law. Nagamine insisted his underlying interest was to produce evidence in Obama’s birth controversy, to which he was not entitled under Hawaii law.
Nagamine argued that the original 1961 birth certificate records were delicate and needed protection, and accessing them was burdensome.
But to get the long form you actually do have to go to the vault. And the records that are in the vault have been bound in volumes, not just the one, not just plaintiff’s sister’s records, but other records from around that time of birth, for example, in this case, the president’s birth certificate, which we know this is all about.
So these volumes in the vault are kept in temperature-controlled areas, they are bound in volumes, the clerk would have to go and find the volume that it’s in, pull out the volumes. These are old records, and in plaintiff’s case it’s more than 50 years old. They would have to open the volume. They have a special Xerox machine that copies those old records that they don’t remove the binding. They have been bound.
The plaintiff could not back (sic) in the area of the Department of Health where that special Xerox machine is and he couldn’t go in the vault without this disrupting the security and safety of the other records, the temperature in the room in the vault where the records are kept. So it would be very, very burdensome, not only for the legwork involved going to retrieve the volume, find the volume, find the page, take it to the Xerox machine, copy it.
So, Nagamine concludes, Duncan Sunahara should be satisfied with the short-form certificate of live birth the Department of Health issued for his sister, even though it is a modern computer-generated form, not a certified exact copy of the original:
If everybody was getting [a copy of the long-form birth certificate], those days of copies like they did in the old days, the records could not be preserved safely, the pages would be torn, they could not be protected. So the fact that all of this data is computerized, they can get the data. The law means that this data is as good as the original. Plaintiff got the birth certificate, he knows his sister was born. To there – there – it would be very, very burdensome.
Judge Nishimura denied Duncan Sunahara’s request, agreeing with Nagamine.
Zullo charges Hawaii with lying
Zullo was quick to point out that in the court proceedings Nagamine admitted the entire volume of birth certificates containing not only Virginia Sunahara’s long-form certificate, but also those of the Nordyke twins and Barack Obama, has been moved to a special secure location with very limited access.
“The point apparently is to hide away Obama’s original birth certificate, if it exists and then deny anyone access to see the document on the premise it’s too fragile to examine,” he said.
“What purpose did the Hawaii Department of Health have in preserving these records if it was not to show them when requested to family members and others who have a legal interest in seeing the documents?”

Zullo dismissed Nagamine’s argument that getting a photocopy of a long-form original 1961 birth certificate was a burdensome, time-consuming process that would jeopardize the integrity of all birth documents.
“Nagamine’s arguments were utterly disingenuous,” Zullo stressed.
“Her vigorous defense has nothing to do with the integrity of original 1961 birth records. Most likely, Virginia Sunahara’s original long-form birth certificate has a different number than the number on the computer-generated short-form certificate of live birth that the agency released to the family.”
Zullo further pointed out that Nagamine’s arguments in the Sunahara hearing seem to contradict photographic evidence of Dr. Alvin T. Onaka, registrar of the Hawaii Department of Health, easily locating a volume on a wall-length bookshelf of bound birth certificate volumes.
“What Onaka showed in that photograph was nothing like what Nagamine argued in court,” Zullo said.
Numbers out of sequence
WND reported in May 2011 that no birth certificate had been located for Virginia Sunahara at that time.
Subsequently, the controversy intensified when the Hawaii Department of Health released to Duncan Sunahara a short-form certificate of live birth with the number 151 1961-011080.
The problem was that the Sunahara birth certificate number was wildly out of sequence with Obama’s birth certificate number and with the birth certificate numbers of the Nordyke twins, who were born in Hawaii the day after Obama.
WND reported in July 2009 that the Nordyke twins, born at Kapiolani Hospital, the same hospital as Obama, were issued birth certificate numbers lower than Obama’s.
Here is the sequence, including Virginia Sunahara:
Susan Nordyke was born at Kapiolani Hospital at 2:12 p.m. Hawaii time on Aug. 5, 1961, and was given No. 151-61-10637, which was filed with the Hawaii registrar Aug. 11, 1961.
Gretchen Nordyke was born at Kapiolani Hospital at 2:17 p.m. Hawaii time on Aug. 5, 1961, and was given No. 151-61-10638, which was also filed with the Hawaii registrar Aug. 11, 1961.
Barack Obama was born at Kapiolani Hospital at 7:24 p.m. Hawaii time on Aug. 4, 1961, and was given No. 151-61-10641, which was filed with the Hawaii registrar Aug. 8, 1961.
Virginia Sunahara was born at Wahiawa Hospital at 9:16 p.m. Hawaii time on Aug. 4, 1961, and was given No. 161-1961-011080, which was filed with the Hawaii registrar Aug. 10, 1961.
So, Virginia Sunahara’s birth certificate number is some 440 numbers higher than the Nordyke twins’ and Obama’s birth certificates, even though Virginia Sunahara’s birth certificate was filed with the Hawaii registrar two days after Obama and one day before the Nordyke twins.
Moreover, the inclusion of the full year “1961” in the Sunahara birth certificate violates the pattern seen in the Nordyke twins’ birth certificates and in Obama’s, where the year is represented only by two digits “61.”
Virginia Sunahara's short-form birth certificate
These anomalies led Duncan Sunahara to request the Hawaii Department of Health to allow him to witness the production of a direct copy from the long-form birth certificate held by the HDOH in the agency’s vault.
His purpose was to see if the birth certificate number on the short-form computer-generated certificate of live birth the HDOH issued him had an altered number that had been forged to create the impression the HDOH in 1961 did not number birth certificates in the order in which they were filed.
If the HDOH in 1961 issued birth certificates randomly, or by a logic other than chronological order of birth, then the fact that Obama’s number is higher than the Nordyke twins numbers could be explained.
“The reason the Hawaii Department of Health most likely does not want the public to see the original 1961 birth records is that an honest examination would show the forgers made a mistake in assigning to the forged Obama birth certificate a number that was out of sequence,” Zullo insisted.
“If we could see the original 1961 birth certificate volumes, we would see the Hawaii Department of Health in 1961 assigned numbers in a reasonable and understandable manner – in chronological order of birth, not in random order.”
He was specifically concerned that the Department of Health has not offered any testimony that the modern computerized data used to generate the short-form certificates of birth have been safeguarded from numerical or other data manipulation.
“To my amazement, all Nagamine offered the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office as proof Obama was born in Hawaii was a computer-generated list of birth registrations that was contained in a ring binder such that pages could be removed, altered and reinserted,” he noted.
“There was no level of security other than the closed rings of the binder holding the pages in place.”
Zullo added that the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office has obtained a signed affidavit from an individual who went to the Department of Health early in the public’s quest for the truth about the Obama birth certificate.
“That individual states that when he first went to the Hawaii Department of Health’s main office in Honolulu, Obama’s name did not appear in the computerized registration list in the ring binder, but when he went back approximately 14 days later to examine the same list, he was amazed Obama’s name suddenly was there.”
‘We didn’t make mistakes’
In July, WND in Hawaii conducted a telephone interview with Verna K. Lee, the local registrar who signed Obama’s birth certificate.
Lee told WND all the birth certificates received in a particular month were put in order according to date and time of birth and numbered sequentially at the end of the month.
The only exception was that birth certificates received from the other islands and from the one local office in Oahu were grouped separately. The purpose was to not under-represent births outside Honolulu or unattended births occurring at home, because only even-number birth certificates were reported to the federal government as mandated by the U.S. Office of Vital Statistics in 1961.
Birth certificates from the hospitals in Oahu were sent directly to the central office of the Hawaii Department of Health in Honolulu.
“The birth certificates were all numbered at the end of the month,” Lee said. “It was done by one person at the end of the month.”
When asked if there could be mistakes in numbering the birth certificates, Lee insisted birth certificates were numbered correctly on her watch.
“The birth certificates were kept together in a certain room until we numbered them all in a bunch at the end of the month,” she said. “We didn’t get them out of order, and we didn’t number them incorrectly, not in my time.”
Zullo contended the new revelations provided by Verna K. Lee attested to the care, control and method of sequential numbering of all long-form birth certificates in 1961.
“It is utterly impossible to have a birth certificate number so far out of sequence as the Sunahara birth certificate and to have that document accepted at a registrar’s office managed by Verna K. Lee,” he said. “The cover-up remains alive and well even today in the Hawaii Department of Health.”

MSNBC trashes 'Dreams' documentary on Obama
MSNBC’s Alex Wagner on her “Now” show today bashed Joel Gilbert’s documentary “Dreams from My Real Father,” which posits that Barack Obama’s real father was not the Kenyan goatherder, but Frank Marshall Davis, a communist party activist.
It came as part of a segment where she recognized that Dinesh D’Souza’s film “2016,” a hit documentary on Obama’s life and cultural influences, is No. 5 on the list of highest grossing documentaries,
The “Dreams” project explains the evidence behind the claim that Obama’s father was not the Kenyan student, as he has written, but Davis.
Showing the full-page advertisement Gilbert ran in last week’s New York Post, Wagner correctly pointed out that Gilbert argues in the documentary that Davis, the radical poet and journalist who was a card-carrying member of the Communist Party of the USA, was the real, biological and ideological father of Obama, not Barack Obama, the Kenyan, who came from Africa in 1959 to attend the University of Hawaii in Honolulu.
New York Post: “Dreams from My Real Father,” Full-Page Ad, scheduled to appear in New York Post
Wagner introduced discussion of Gilbert’s video in racial terms, by showing on the screen a copy of the New York Post ad and claiming Gilbert was “othering” Obama, presenting him as of outside mainstream America in terms of his nativity story.
Then panelist Wes Moore jumped in to argue that Obama would ignore Gilbert’s claim much as Moore claims Obama has sought to minimize challenges that the long-form birth certificate the White House presented the nation on April 27, 2011, is a forgery.
He argued that a lot of “good, qualified, smart people” would be discouraged from going into public office because of the scrutiny Barack Obama has received regarding his nativity story and his life narrative.
“Vilifying public servants and public service in general doesn’t make anyone eager to run for public office,” Wagner agreed, joining in with Moore’s characterization of Gilbert’s documentary as less than factually based.
“The panelists biggest fear appeared to be that people like Obama might not want to run for office if the stories they tell about their origins and life are subject to scrutiny and are exposed,” Gilbert told WND.
“I think this is a good thing. The only people who should run for office are those who tell the truth about who they are. Obama has failed to do this.”
In running the segment, MSNBC had a graphic on the screen that read, “Born-Again Birthers.”
Gilbert objected to this as well.
“This is a clever attempt by MSNBC to dismiss legitimate research into President Obama’s official nativity story by demeaning the effort as yet another ‘birther’ quest,” Gilbert commented. “By throwing in ‘born-again,’ MSNBC tried to slip in the insinuation that my documentary is an extremist hatchet job when in fact the film is based on two years of research.”
Gilbert noted that so far MSNBC is the only television news outlet to report on his documentary, even if the report was intended to demean the film.
“I ran the ad in the New York Post to provoke interest in the public and the media, but ironically only MSNBC had the courage – if you want to call it that – to report on the provocative ad,” Gilbert said.
“The only time Fox News has mentioned ‘Dreams from My Real Father’ is when Megan Kelly announced it as part of a film festival taking place in Tampa, Fla., during the Republican National Convention. Hannity has not called, but he has my phone number.”
A Communist Party mentor
“Barack Obama sold himself to America as the multicultural ideal, a man who stood above politics,” he explained. “His father was a goatherder from Kenya, so Barack Obama would bring people together, so the story went.
“However, as I show in the documentary, the truth is Barack Obama has a deeply disturbing family background, including a father who was a propagandist for the Communist Party USA – a fact Obama has intentionally hidden in order to obscure his Marxist political foundations.”
Gilbert acknowledges voters are willing to overlook many faults a politician may have.
“However, providing a false family background to hide a Marxist political agenda is irreconcilable with American values and a totally unacceptable manipulation of the electorate,” Gilbert stressed.
Gerald Horne, a contributing editor to Public Affairs, an openly Marxist political review, made the first positive identification of “Frank” mentioned in Obama’s book with Frank Marshall Davis.
In March 2007, Horne gave a speech at New York University on the occasion of the Communist Party USA archive being placed at a NYU library.
In that speech, Horne discussed Frank Marshall Davis, noting that Davis, who born in Kansas and lived much of his adult life in Chicago, had moved to Honolulu in 1948, at the suggestion of his good friend, actor Paul Robeson. In the 1940s, Robeson was an outspoken critic of segregation and racial discrimination in the United States and was also a strong advocate of the Soviet Union and a member of the Communist Party USA.
Horne also documented Davis’ friendship with the Dunham family in Hawaii.
“Eventually, he [Frank Marshall Davis] befriended another family – a Euro-American family – that had migrated to Honolulu from Kansas and a young woman from this family eventually had a child with a young student from Kenya East Africa who goes by the name of Barack Obama, who retracing the steps of Davis eventually decamped to Chicago.”
Lorne further documented Frank Marshall Davis was “a decisive influence in helping him [Barack Obama] to find his present identity as an African-American, a people who have been the least anti-communist and the most left-leaning of any constituency in this nation.”
After Horne’s speech, the identity of “Frank” never was in doubt, nor his importance in the development of the young Barack Obama.
On December 5, 1956, Frank Marshall Davis appeared in executive session before the U.S. Senate Subcommittee investigating “the scope of Soviet activity in the United States,” one of the McCarthy-era committees seeking to expose communists considered to be a security threat.
Invoking his Fifth Amendment rights against self-incrimination, Davis refused to answer a direct question asking if he was then a communist.
A year earlier, in 1955, a Commission on Subversive Activities organized by the government of the Territory of Hawaii identified Davis as a member of the Communist Party USA; the committee singled out for criticism several articles Frank Marshall Davis published in the “Communist Honolulu Record” that were critical of the commission.

The question comes amid claims in the diplomatic community that J. Christopher Stevens — the U.S. ambassador to Libya brutally murdered on the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks — was homosexual.
The question is worth serious exploration, even if Stevens’ sexuality cannot be determined with certainty, because U.S. government Foreign Service agencies are actively recruiting from the homosexual community for diplomatic assignments overseas, including in the Middle East.
The recruitment derives from a larger policy decision Obama and Clinton have made to confront discrimination against homosexuals globally, even in Muslim countries.
Meanwhile, the Obama administration insists on attributing the deadly attack in Libya and the violent protests throughout the Muslim world as solely a reaction to a 14-minute movie trailer posted on the Internet, without acknowledging that the movie, “Innocence of Muslims,” depicts the Islamic prophet, Muhammad, as a pedophile and a homosexual.
Was Stevens gay?
A Washington Post obituary noted Stevens never married and had no children.
On a homosexual-rights blog called The New Civil Rights Movement, Jean Ann Esselink, who describes herself as “a straight friend to the gay community,” explored rumors Stevens was “gay.” She said she had heard the rumors and thought that, if true, Stevens’ story would make a good feature for the website.
She concluded: “But the truth is, I cannot tell you if Chris was gay. I can only tell you that he was a 52-year-old man without wife or child, at least one he claimed in public.”
Esselink noted the phone call Clinton made to inform his next of kin of his death went to his sister, a Seattle doctor.
“I could not find a single statement made by Chris himself, about any LGBT issue,” Esselink wrote. “Upon reflection, I suspect it is the kind of briar patch topic that Foreign Service officials avoid.”
However, Kevin DuJan, the openly homosexual founder of HillBuzz.org, told WND he spoke with two sources in Chicago diplomatic circles who said Stevens was homosexual. He also pointed to Facebook postings by Stevens’ roommate at the University of California at Berkeley, Austin Tichenor, who directed Stevens in musical productions in the 1980s.
On Sept. 12, the day after Stevens was killed, Tichenor posted a tribute on Twitter, calling Stevens an “old friend.” Tichenor’s thumbnail profile picture is a photograph from the 1980s of himself (right) embracing Stevens (left) at a college theme party, as seen in Exhibit 1.

Subsequent postings, on Tichenor’s Facebook page, were more direct.
On Sept. 14, Tichenor changed his profile picture on Facebook to the photo of himself and Stevens from the 1980s.
Also seen in Exhibit 2, a friend, Elizabeth Dennehy, posted a comment: “Brideshead Revisited? It’s so bloody sad” – a reference to the 1945 Evelyn Waugh novel.

DuJan noted that no one corrected Dennehy on her “Brideshead Revisited” posting.
“This is total gay code that, yes, these two had a sexual relationship in the past,” he said.
DuJan, a Chicago-based former gossip columnist who also has presented evidence Barack Obama is hiding a “gay life,” obtained additional confirmation from an employee of the Serbian Consulate in Chicago. The Serb told him it was “widely known” and “not a secret at all” in diplomatic circles and from others in the Chicago theater world that Stevens was “gay” and that he and Tichenor had been lovers.
Michelangelo Signorile, editor at large for the Huffington Post’s Gay Voice’s blog, ridiculed DuJan’s claim that Stevens was homosexual, characterizing DuJan as a “longtime gay conservative blogger and Tea Party smear artist.”
Signorile argued Tichenor is married and has two children, commenting: “I know: Just because a man is married to a woman doesn’t necessarily mean he can’t be in a relationship with another man, but you’d think the right-wing brigade would have mentioned the fact.”
Signorile insisted Stevens’ sexual orientation is irrelevant.
“But even if he were gay, it’s absurd to claim he couldn’t do the job, nor shouldn’t have been sent to Libya, particularly since he’d been working in foreign service in North Africa for most of his working life and doing nothing less than a stellar job according to every news report.”
DuJan countered that sending Stevens to the Muslim Middle East, where some countries punish homosexual behavior with death, is like sending “a dolphin to swim among the sharks.”
“Many on the political left who spend their lives in academia or working for the government live in this utopia,” he said. “A part of political correctness says, ‘Just because Stevens is gay, why wouldn’t we send him there.’ It’s insane not to appreciate the risks we face living in a very hostile world.”
Sarcastically, Signorile said: “It’s encouraging, though, to learn that right-wing bloggers actually do care about the well-being of American gay people. Who knew?”
Tichenor’s biography on the Reduced Shakespeare Co. website also notes he “has two kids (one of each),” although no mention of his wife, Dee Ryan, is made.
A video of Tichenor singing “Gay” at the Pittsburgh Public Theater in a satiric production of the Complete Millennium Musical in 1998 is posted on the Reduced Shakespeare Co. website. In it, Tichenor sings, “Let’s hear it for homos today” in a dancing threesome, along with Dee Ryan and Reed Martin.

LGBT recruiting
Posted on the State Department website is a career statement answering the questions: “Does the Department of State Consider Lesbians and Gays for Employment? What if I have a same-sex live-in partner?”
In answering the question, the State Department website continues:
It is the policy of the Department of State to provide equal opportunity and fair treatment in employment to all persons without regard to race, color, sex, national origin, age, handicap, political affiliation, marital status, or sexual orientation. There are many new provisions for declared same-sex domestic partners of eligible employees serving overseas: diplomatic passports (for US citizens), inclusion on employee travel orders to and from posts abroad, shipment of household effects, inclusion in family size calculations for the purpose of making household allocations, family member preference for employment at posts abroad, use of medical facilities at posts abroad, medical evacuation from posts abroad, emergency travel for partners to visit gravely ill or injured employees and relatives, inclusion as family members for emergency evacuation from posts abroad, subsistence payments related to emergency evacuation from posts abroad, inclusion in calculation of overseas allowances (e.g., payment for quarters, cost of living, and other allowances, representation expenses, and training at the Foreign Service Institute.
A note at the bottom of the listing, which reads almost as an afterthought, says the federal Defense of Marriage Act, DOMA, defines marriage as a heterosexual union and “spouse” as “a person of the opposite sex who is a husband or a wife” – definitions the note says “apply for purposes of all federal laws.”
Still, the State Department webpage links to remarks Clinton made on “Benefits for Same-Sex Domestic Partners of Foreign Service Employees.” She announced June 18, 2009, that following a memorandum issued by President Obama, the State Department was “extending the full range of legally available benefits and allowances to same-sex domestic partners of members of the Foreign Service sent to serve abroad.”
On Dec. 6, 2011, Obama issued a new LGBT policy via another presidential memorandum directing the secretary of state to fight LGBT discrimination on a global basis.
On the same day, Clinton, in a speech at the Palais de Nations in Geneva, Switzerland, in recognition of Internal Human Rights Day, pledged $3 million to the creation of a Global Equality Fund to start an organization dedicated to advocating “for human rights for the LGBT community in hostile places.”
Gay and Lesbians in Foreign Affairs Agencies, known as GLIFFA, is the officially recognized organization representing the LGBT community employed by a variety of U.S. government agencies with foreign diplomacy missions, including the State Department and the U.S. Agency for International Development, USAID.
In making these changes, the Obama administration has tasked Clinton with reversing decades of policy directives in the U.S. diplomatic service that considered homosexuality an offense that could lead to termination of employment. The policy was based on the possibility that known homosexuals in the diplomatic ranks would be vulnerable to blackmail.
Several Muslim countries, including Saudi Arabia, consider LGBT lifestyles to be criminal, subject to severe punishment, including in some instances the death penalty.

A posting still available on the U.S. Embassy website in Islamabad notes 75 people, including mission officers, U.S. military representatives, foreign diplomats and leaders of Pakistani LGBT groups, attended “gay pride” event hosted June 26, 2011, by Chargé d’Affaires Ambassador Richard E. Hoagland.
“This gathering demonstrated continued U.S. Embassy support for human rights, including LGBT rights, in Pakistan at a time when those rights are increasingly under attack from extremist elements throughout Pakistani society,” the U.S. Embassy website noted.
“Addressing the Pakistani LGBT activists, the Chargé, while acknowledging that the struggle for LGBT rights in Pakistan is beginning, said ‘I want to be clear: the U.S. Embassy is here to support you and stand by your side every step of the way.’
Death of an ambassador
In a briefing Sept. 12, the State Department in Washington indicated it lacked detailed knowledge of how Stevens died in an attack that began around 10 p.m. local time in Libya and lasted several hours.
An unnamed State Department spokesman explained the following:
“At some point in all of this – and frankly, we do not know when – we believe that Ambassador Stevens got out of the building and was taken to a hospital in Benghazi. We do not have any information what his condition was at that time. His body was later returned to U.S. personnel at the Benghazi airport.”
A report published Sept. 12 on the Lebanese news agency website Tayyar.org indicated Stevens had been sodomized before being murdered, although the report was later removed from the website after Agence France Presse objected that its source had been falsely quoted by the Lebanese news agency and there was “no truth whatsoever” to the report.
The official State Department account said it was 2 a.m. local time before local security forces were able to regain control of the situation. It was unclear how many hours passed before Stevens’ body was found at a local hospital.
The State Department has not yet indicated whether the results of any autopsy on Stevens’ body will be made public. The official timeline suggests Stevens was not killed in the gunfire aimed at the mission annex some two hours after the incident began, and it’s unclear who transported him and how from the scene of the attack to a local hospital.
Nor has the U.S. public been informed whether or not Stevens was yet alive when he was taken from the scene of the attack to a local hospital.
Planned attack?
A report published by the Independent of London Sept. 14 indicated Stevens’ death resulted from “a serious and continuing security breach.” The U.S. State Department had credible information 48 hours before mobs charged the consulate in Benghazi that the American mission to Libya had been targeted to be hit in a planned attack.
The Independent further reported that Stevens had only recently returned to Libya after a visit to Germany, Austria and Sweden. But no warnings were given for him to go on high alert and “lockdown” restricting movements.
On Sunday, Libya President Mohamed Yousef El-Magariaf told CBS’s “Face the Nation” that the attack on the U.S. Consulate f in Benghazi was “preplanned,” contradicting directlyU.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Susan Rice’s insistence on the Sunday morning talk shows that the attack was a spontaneous reaction to an Internet-posted video offensive to Islam.
CNN also published a report Sunday indicating three days before the fatal attack, a local security official met with American diplomats in the city and warned them about deteriorating security.
What has been established is that the U.S. State Department under the direction of Hillary Clinton had provided only minimal security for Stevens trip to Beghazi, evidently assuming he was well-loved by the Libyans, given his experience with the region and his dedication to transforming the Arab Spring into genuine democracy for Libya.
Stevens lacked a Marine security detail in Benghazi, in contrast to White House Senior Advisor Valerie Jarrett, who appears to have a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week Secret Service detail of five or six agents, including when she vacations on Martha Vineyard, according to Democratic pollster Pat Caddell.
Fox News military analyst Col. David Hunt laid the blame for Stevens’ murder on Hillary Clinton, noting the State Department Rules of Engagement for Libya prohibited Marines from providing security at any American diplomatic installation in country. Local nationals hired as security guards in Benghazi were not authorized to load their weapons with bullets.
On Sept. 15, the London Daily Telegraph reported al-Qaida “meticulously planned” the attack in Libya to occur on the anniversary of 9/11. It was ordered by al-Qaida chief Ayman al-Zawahiri in retaliation for a U.S. drone that killed al-Qaida propaganda chief Sheik Abu Yahya al-Libi in June.
