Not just a debate – a lie-detector test!
President Obama and GOP nominee Mitt Romney are not only facing off in their first presidential debate – they’re both in the hot seat as they face an on-the-spot, involuntary lie detector test while answering some potentially provocative questions.
Americans for Limited Government said it has contracted with the company Voice Analysis Technology to determine whether the candidates are telling the truth during the debate by measuring their voice patterns and stress levels.
ALG President Bill Wilson said the lie detector test is “a break-through for the American people.”
“For the first time, within a few hours of a political debate, the American people will know if the candidates are telling the truth, and better be able to judge what promises are real, and which ones are nothing more than political pandering,” Wilson said.
The organization will publish results of the test within three hours of the end of the debate.
According to ALG, “Unlike a traditional polygraph which requires a suspect’s cooperation, and places numerous probes on the person’s body, voice analysis literally takes the words right out of a person’s mouth and based upon variations in speech patterns determines if statements being made are true or not with a high degree of accuracy. With words like inaccurate, person uncertain, false statement, highly stressed and truth, the user’s computer screen literally explodes with data related to the veracity of the subject’s assertions.”
Meanwhile, two bombshell stories put Barack Obama’s radical former pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, in the spotlight ahead of the first presidential debate between the Republican and Democratic nominees tonight in Denver.
The Daily Caller posted video of racially charged remarks regarding the federal government’s response to Hurricane Katrina that Obama made in a June 2007 speech to a black audience at Hampton University in Virginia. During the speech, Obama praised Wright, who was in attendance, as a highly respected family confidant.
WND published the first article in a series in which members of the church the Obamas attended for two decades, Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, claimed Wright ran a matchmaking service for homosexual members, including Barack Obama, known as the Down Low Club.
Today, as the final preparations are being made on the stage and auditorium, the candidates are in seclusion, preparing for an hour-and-a-half debate on domestic economic policy to be moderated by Jim Lehrer, executive editor of the PBS News Hour.
As debate preparations entered the final stages, a United Technologies/ National Journal poll showed Republican nominee Mitt Romney tied with Obama, each pulling in 47 percent of likely voters.
A national audience estimated to be in the range of 50 million will view tonight’s debate, scheduled for 9 to 10:30 p.m. Eastern Time, with many potential voters seeing Romney live for the first time.
With both sides downplaying expectations, an advantage typically goes to the challenger, if for no other reason than Romney will stand on the stage before the nation as an equal to incumbent Obama.
The debate will be divided into six 15-minute segments, with the first, second and third segments devoted to discussing the economy. The fourth segment will feature health care. The role of government will be the topic for the fifth segment, and the final segment will focus on governing.
Neither candidate will address the audience directly, however, both will have a chance to make two-minute closing statements.
Obama won a coin toss to determine who will be introduced first. Romney won a toss enabling him to make his closing statement last.

Trinity Church members reveal Obama shocker!
After nearly four years in office, many Americans still express frustration that much about Barack Obama remains a mystery as establishment media remain incurious about the Democratic president, while seemingly ready to dispatch crack investigative teams at a moment’s notice to probe into the personal lives of Republican figures such as Sarah Palin. Largely ignored in 2008 was research by the Hillary Clinton campaign based on contacts developed with members of the church Obama attended for two decades, Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago. This is the first of a series of articles WND has developed from months of in-person interviews with church members who have known Barack and Michelle Obama over many years. The sources requested that their identities not be published because they believe their disclosures would put their security at risk.
NEW YORK – Ten years ago, the New York Times reported on a growing underground subculture in the black community known as Down Low, comprised largely of men who secretly engage in homosexual activity while living “straight” lives in public.
It’s within that subtext that opposition researchers for Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign began investigating rumors that Rev. Jeremiah Wright was running a “matchmaking service” for members of his Trinity United Church of Christ known as the Down Low Club, which included Barack Obama.
Over the past several months, WND investigators have interviewed a number of members of the church who claim the president benefited from Wright’s efforts to help black men who engage in homosexual activity appear respectable in black society by finding them a wife.
The 2003 New York Times story, “Double Lives on the Down Low,” said that though many black men reject “a gay culture they perceive as white and effeminate,” they “have settled on a new identity, with its own vocabulary and customs and its own name: Down Low.”
The Times said that while “there are black men who are openly gay, it seems that the majority of those having sex with men still lead secret lives, products of a black culture that deems masculinity and fatherhood as a black man’s primary responsibility – and homosexuality as a white man’s perversion.”
The Down Low Club at Trinity “doesn’t have meetings, and it isn’t like the Rotary Club,” a source identified for this article as “Carolyn” explained to a WND investigator in Chicago.
“It was more that Wright served as a matchmaker,” said Carolyn, a 20-year member of Trinity who has played a role in church administration and knows the Obamas personally.
“He kept his eye on the young guys coming up in Trinity,” she said, “and if he spotted someone that acted or looked gay, then Wright would give them kind of a guidance counselor-type direction on how to keep down low – how to do the things they wanted to do, but then also getting married and looking ‘respectable’ – being part of black society.”
To Trinity insiders, the Down Low Club was simply known as “the program.”
“That’s the terminology. At Trinity, you’re urged to ‘get with the program,’” explained a male beneficiary of the Down Low Club. “What that means is it’s OK to go ahead and have sex with men, just as long as you ‘get with the program’ and marry a woman, somebody no straight guy would want to marry.”
The wife, the Down Low Club member explained, is “your ‘beard,’ your cover – so you can look like you’re living a straight life, even thought your not.”
The male source was a “computer consultant” who claims not to know “scratch” about computers. But “getting with the program” at Trinity meant he could keep living a “gay” life and receive lots of computer consulting work thrown his way by Trinity, as long as he was willing to marry an unattractive woman who otherwise might have ended up a lonely spinster with no means to provide for living.
Carolyn explained that for many black families, attending Trinity was a way out of poverty.
“Trinity was a chance to network,” she said. “The stuff preached was hateful, but about 70 percent of those who go there ignore the radical rhetoric and just trying to get ahead.”
Carolyn said Trinity “helped a lot of blacks get successful and connected.”
“That’s what Wright did for Obama,” she claimed. “He connected Obama in the community, and he helped Obama hide his homosexuality.”
Openly homosexual author and commentator Keith Boykin, a former White House adviser to President Bill Clinton, mentions Obama’s former pastor, Wright, on pages 264-265 of his 2005 book “Beyond the Down Low: Sex, Lies, and Denial in Black America.” While Boykin doesn’t refer to the Down Low Club by name, he regards Wright as among a small group of ministers who are “coming to grips with sexuality and opening up a dialogue with heterosexuals, homosexuals, and bisexuals in the pews.”
Chicago-based author, businessman, speaker and HIV/AIDS activist J.L. King wrote a controversial book in 2005 called “On the Down Low: A Journey into the Lives of ‘Straight’ Black Men who Sleep with Men.”
He was a guest on Oprah Winfrey’s Chicago-based TV show in 2004, which described him this way: “J.L. King had a life most would envy. He married his high school sweetheart, had two healthy children and was on the fast track to success. But, unbeknownst to his family and friends, he had a dark secret—he was living on the down low.”
Carolyn and the other members of Trinity who provided statements corroborating her testimony were insistent that WND conceal their identities as a condition of being interviewed.
“I’m still scared to discuss any of this,” Carolyn said.
“At Trinity, if you even hint at talking about Obama being gay, you are reminded of our dear departed choir director,” she said. “He was killed, and it wasn’t a robbery. The Christmas presents weren’t touched. The TV was not taken, nothing in the apartment was missing.”
Carolyn’s reference was to Donald Young, the 47-year-old homosexual choirmaster at Trinity who died of multiple gunshot wounds in his Chicago apartment Dec. 24, 2007.
Young’s murder was preceded Nov. 17, 2007, with the execution-style murder of 25-year-old Larry Bland, another black gay member of Trinity United. He also was murdered in his home, dying of multiple gunshot wounds, according to his death certificate.
Just two days after the murder of Young, a third openly “gay” member of Wright’s church, Nate Spencer, reportedly died of septicemia, pneumonia and AIDS.
Sensational charges
As WND reported last month, a prominent member of Chicago’s homosexual community claims Obama’s participation in the “gay” bar and bathhouse scene was so well known that many who were aware of his lifestyle were shocked when he ran for president and finally won the White House.
In April, WND reported a federal judge dismissed a libel case against Larry Sinclair, a homosexual who claimed Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign had paid to rig a polygraph test regarding Sinclair’s sensational charge that he had sex and used cocaine twice with Obama while Obama was an Illinois state senator. Sinclair tells his story in “Barack Obama & Larry Sinclair: Cocaine, Sex, Lies & Murder.”
WND also reported former radical activist John Drew has said that when he met Obama when Obama was a student at Occidental College, he thought Obama and his then-Pakistani roommate were “gay” lovers.
In addition, rumors have swirled around Obama’s relationship with his personal aide and former “body man,” Reggie Love, who resurfaced on the eve of the Republican National Convention to support his old boss. Love resigned from the White House in November 2011 after compromising photographs of him as a college student received wide circulation.
WND also has documented in two separate articles, here and here, that Obama wore a gold band on his wedding ring finger from the time he attended Occidental College through his student days at Harvard Law School.
Shocking phone call
Sinclair gave an affidavit to the Chicago Police Department regarding contacts he says he had with Young just prior to Young’s murder.
According to Sinclair’s affidavit, published in its entirety beginning on page 56 of his book, he contacted Obama’s presidential campaign in September 2007. Sinclair says he requested that Obama correct claims he made about when he stopped abusing drugs to reflect use of crack cocaine during their sex encounters in November 1999.
During the 2008 presidential campaign, Obama had stated famously he stopped using marijuana and cocaine in college, implying his drug abuse ended when he had completed his first two years of college at Occidental in Los Angeles.
Sinclair explained that when he made contact with the Obama campaign in September 2007, he provided callback numbers, in case the campaign wanted to get in touch with him.
Then, in late September or early October 2007, as Sinclair stated in his affidavit, he received a call from a male identifying himself as “Mr. Young,” who stated he was responding to calls Sinclair had made to the Obama campaign.
“This first call shocked me in that this ‘Mr. Young’ asked me why I had not asked Senator Obama to disclose sexual encounters I had with Mr. Obama in 1999,” Sinclair’s affidavit reads. “I was shocked as I had never mentioned to the campaign or anyone working for the campaign any sexual encounters. The call ended with Mr. Young stating I would hear from someone in a few days.”
Sinclair claims it was in a second call from “Mr. Young” that he began to suspect the man had been sexually intimate with Obama. Sinclair said he drew that conclusion “by the tone of the conversation” and by its “sexual nature.”
In late October 2007, Sinclair received a text message from “Mr. Young” stating Young “was intimately involved with Senator Obama and that Obama was discussing with him and his pastor how to publicly acknowledge Senator Obama’s drug use in 1999.”
The text message also indicated Obama wanted to make sure Sinclair had not discussed the sexual encounters or drug use with any media at that time.
In November 2007, Sinclair received a second text message from “Mr. Young,” advising him that Obama would publicly correct his statement as to the last time he used drugs and that Sinclair did not need to concern himself with publicly disclosing it.
Then, in early December 2007, Sinclair received his last contact with “Mr. Young,” with Young making it clear Obama had no intention of acknowledging publicly his use of crack cocaine in 1999.
After Young was murdered, Sinclair had several contacts with Young’s family.
“In several telephone conversations with his sisters, brothers, nieces and others, I was reassured that the family of Donald Young believed he was murdered to protect Barack Obama,” Sinclair wrote. “It also became clear, right from the start that members of the Young family were truly fearful of speaking out publicly, to this day, they fear for their own personal, physical safety.”
On July 17, 2010, the supermarket tabloid The Globe published an interview with Norma Jean Young, the 76-year-old mother of the slain choirmaster, in which she expressed fear that her son was murdered to protect Obama.
“What was the cause of my son’s death?” Norma Jean Young asked in the Globe interview. “I’m very suspicious that it may have been related to Obama. Donald and Obama were very close friends. Whatever went on with this is very private. I am suspicious of a cover-up!”
She insisted there is “more to the story,” calling on Chicago police to ramp up their investigation.
“I do believe they are shielding somebody or protecting somebody,” she told The Globe.
Asked who would benefit from a cover-up, Norma Jean Young said, “It could be anyone, including Obama.”
Shortly after the Globe interview was published, Norma Jean Young left Chicago and lived for a while in Peoria, Ill. Her current residence is unknown.
The murders of Donald Young and Larry Bland remain today open cases of unsolved homicide.

Netanyahu warns of Iran's 'apocalyptic leaders'
NEW YORK – In an address to the United Nations General Assembly, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu challenged the U.S. and President Obama directly by calling for a “clear red line” to be drawn on Iran’s enrichment of uranium, a “gunpowder” useful only in the development of nuclear weapons.
“I believe that faced with a clear red line, Iran will back down,” he said.
In contrast, while Obama told the U.N. in his speech Monday that the U.S. will not tolerate an Iran armed with nuclear weapons, he did not outline any new steps other than to continue economic and diplomatic sanctions.
“Red lines don’t lead to war, red lines prevent war,” Netanyahu argued. “Nothing could imperil the world more than a nuclear-armed Iran.”
The Israeli leader asserted the creation of a clear red line was the only deterrence Iran could understand, noting its radical religious leaders have called for Israel’s destruction “on a daily basis.”
He cited a “record of Iranian aggression without nuclear weapons” and asked the delegates to “imagine them with nuclear weapons.”
He tied Iran to the “medieval forces of radical Islam” who were on display in the recent attack on the U.S. Consulate in Libya and are “bent on world conquest.”
Read Netanyahu’s warning about Iran.
Netanyahu warned that it would be a “dangerous assumption” to believe a nuclear-armed Iran could be deterred like the former Soviet Union, explaining “militant jihadists behave very differently from secular Marxists.
“There were no Soviet suicide bombers, yet Iran produces hordes of them.”
The Iranian ayatollahs, he said, do not value survival above ideology.
Netanyahu referred specifically to the belief Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad expounded upon at the end of his U.N. speech yesterday in a coming Islamic messiah, the Mahdi, who will establish a “new world order.”
The Israeli leader explained that mutually assured destruction is not a deterrent, because Iran’s “apocalyptic leaders believe that a medieval holy man will reappear in the wake of a devastating holy war, thereby ensuring that their brand of radical Islam will rule the earth.”
He emphasized that “that’s not just what they believe, that is what is guiding their policy and their actions.”
Netanyahu held up in front of the delegates a graphic of a time bomb to illustrate his contention that Iran is nearing the final stage in its development of a nuclear weapon.
Iran is at the 90-percent stage, he said, and can reach the final stage by next spring.
Basing his information in the U.N.’s own International Atomic Energy Agency, he insisted a “red line” needs to be drawn before the final stage.
Netanyahu also took exception with Ahmadinejad’s repeated assertions the Jewish state has no historical roots in the Middle East.
He opened his speech declaring: “Ladies and gentlemen, 3,000 years ago King David reigned over the Jewish state in our eternal capital, Jerusalem. I say that to all those who proclaim that the Jewish state has no roots in our region and that it will soon disappear.”
Throughout their history, he said, the Jewish people have “overcome all the tyrants who have sought our destruction.”
Netanyahu also alluded to an accusation by Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, whose speech preceded Netanyahu’s, that forces loyal to the Israeli government have engage in a form of “ethnic cleansing” in the West Bank.
“We won’t solve our conflict with libelous speeches at the U.N.,” Netanyahu said.

Ahmadinejad to U.N.: Messiah's return at hand
UNITED NATIONS – With the U.S. and Israeli delegations absent in boycott, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad addressed the General Assembly on the Jewish holiday of Yom Kippur in a rambling, apocalyptic speech in which he declared his confidence that the table already is being set for a “new world order.”
What Ahmadinejad means by “new world order,” however, has nothing to do with the globalist economic and political integration envisioned by President George H. W. Bush.
Known internationally as “Twelvers,” radical Shiite Muslims like Ahmadinejad believe the new order will come with the return of their messiah, the Mahdi – the child imam who supposedly went into seclusion at the bottom of a well more than 1,000 years ago.
Indeed, after a long diatribe in which he blamed Western civilization for most of the world’s major problems, Ahmadinejad concluded his speech today with an extensive description of his belief that the Mahdi will soon usher the world into a new era of peace and prosperity.
“God has promised us a man of kindness,” he said, according to the official transcript, “a man who loves people and loves absolute justice, a man who is a perfect human being and is named Imam al-Mahdi, a man who will come in the company of Jesus Christ and the righteous.”
Ahmadinejad said that by “using the inherent potential of all the worthy men and women of all nations” the Mahdi will “lead humanity into achieving its glorious and eternal ideals.”
“The arrival of the ultimate savior will mark a new beginning, a rebirth and a resurrection,” the Iranian leader said. “It will be the beginning of peace, lasting security and genuine life. His arrival will be the end of oppression, immorality, poverty, discrimination and the beginning of justice, love and empathy.”
Iranian ‘spring’
The utopian vision Ahmadinejad painted to the General Assembly delegates who remained in the hall to hear his speech is familiar to students of the Mahdi.
What Ahmadinejad neglected to explain is that Shiite Twelvers believe a global apocalypse will mark the Mahdi’s return, leading to the annihilation all non-believers, including Christians, Jews and Sunni Muslims.
Many who have examined Ahmadinejad’s beliefs fear that Iran sees its buildup of nuclear-weapon capabilities and the destruction of Israel as the key apocalyptic event that will hasten the Mahdi’s return.
Ahmadinejad seemed to indicate, in his closing lines, that the return of the Mahdi is near, employing the metaphor of “spring” that also has been used to describe the recent revolutions across the Middle East.
He said the Mahdi will “bless humanity with a spring that puts an end to our winter of ignorance, poverty and war with the tidings of a season of blooming.”
“Now we can sense the sweet scent and the soulful breeze of the spring, a spring that has just begun and doesn’t belong to a specific race, ethnicity, nation or a region, a spring that will soon reach all the territories in Asia, Europe, Africa and the U.S.”
Outside the U.N. General Assembly hall, in numerous press conferences and interviews during his New York visit, Ahmadinejad was explicit about his disdain for Israel and his insistence that it will one day be eliminated.
Erin Pelton, spokeswoman for the U.S. Mission to the U.N., said that in the past couple of days, “we’ve seen Mr. Ahmadinejad once again use his trip to the U.N. not to address the legitimate aspirations of the Iranian people but to instead spout paranoid theories and repulsive slurs against Israel.”
“It’s particularly unfortunate that Mr. Ahmadinejad will have the platform of the U.N. General Assembly on Yom Kippur, which is why the United States has decided not to attend,” she said.
Ahmadinejad ignored President Obama’s challenge to the U.N. yesterday that Iran must not be allowed to pursue nuclear weapons.
Instead, he effectively took a victory lap around the U.N. in his eighth and final appearance, implying he had accomplished his mission to set in motion the events that would bring about the return of the Islamic messiah.
Under his leadership, Iran has built a nuclear weapon program in defiance of numerous U.N. resolutions and countless attempts at economic and diplomatic sanctions, leaving Israel and the U.S. with their last and least desirable option, war.

Time for human trafficking but not for Iran crisis?
UNITED NATIONS – Was Obama’s schedule in New York so demanding there was no time to meet Middle East leaders?
Not even a few minutes early or late in the day to meet with Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu amid a crisis emerging with Iran? Or a visit with Egypt’s new Islamist president Mohamed Morsi, despite the praise Obama lavished in his U.N. speech on the Arab Spring?
After delivering a 40-minute speech this morning to the General Assembly, Obama skipped the traditional State Luncheon headed by Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, deciding to motor instead cross-town to give a half-hour speech to the Clinton Global Initiative.
At the Clinton venue, Obama decided to focus on the evil of human trafficking – an important issue internationally but hardly a burning campaign topic in his election battle with Republican Mitt Romney.
Referencing the Emancipation Proclamation signed by President Lincoln during the Civil War, Obama explained how the United States has struggled to make illegal all forms of slavery – including human trafficking in the international slave trade.
“But for all the progress that we’ve made, the bitter truth is that trafficking also goes on right here, in the United States,” Obama explained.
“It’s the migrant worker unable to pay off the debt to his trafficker. The man, lured here with the promise of a job, his documents then taken, and forced to work endless hours in a kitchen. The teenage girl, beaten, forced to walk the streets. This should not be happening in the United States of America.”
In his 4,000-word speech at the U.N., Obama did not even once mention the word “terrorism” nor did he offer any new practical solutions to a wide range of foreign policy crises, including how the U.S. and its allies, including Israel, are going to stop Iran from developing a nuclear weapon by simply continuing diplomacy and extending sanctions.
But when it came to the Clinton group and the subject of human trafficking, Obama was long on specific solutions.
“We’ll strengthen training, so investigators and law enforcement are even better equipped to take action – and treat victims as victims, not as criminals,” he said to applause. “We’re going to work with Amtrak, and bus and truck inspectors, so that they’re on the lookout. We’ll help teachers and educators spot the signs as well, and better serve those who are vulnerable, especially our young people.”
If only saving the life of U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens had been so easy, Obama would never have had to apologize to the U.N. for a 14-minute amateurish movie-trailer offensive to Muslims that received limited viewing on the Internet.
In speaking to the U.N., Obama made not a single reference to God, yet to the Clinton group, he felt faith-based solutions might help combat the human trafficking problem.
“This coming year, my Office of Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships will make the fight against human trafficking a focus of its work,” Obama said, again to applause. “They’re doing great work.”
He recounted several melodramatic stories – undoubtedly heroic – he reassured two of the victims he mentioned, Ima and Sheila, that he was working in the spirit of Lincoln and the Emancipation Proclamation.
“In the darkest hours of your lives, you may have felt utterly alone, and it seemed like nobody cared. And the important thing for us to understand is there are millions around the world who are feeling that same way at this very moment,” he said with great emotion.
“Our fight against human trafficking is one of the great human rights causes of our time, and the United States will continue to lead it – in partnership with you. The change we seek will not come easy, but we can draw strength from the movements of the past. For we know that every life saved – in the words of that great Proclamation – is ‘an act of justice,’ worthy of ‘the considerate judgment of mankind, and the gracious favor of Almighty God.’”
Traffic in New York City was ground to a standstill of cordoned-off streets amid beefed-up security during Obama’s presidential visit.
But there is no worry for a sitting president, who was shuffled off to the 34th Street heliport for a short ride to JFK International Airport, where Air Force One was fueled up and standing ready.
The schedule circulated by the White House assured reporters Obama would be back at the White House by no later than 3 p.m.
The remainder of Obama’s day was free of appointments, apparently so he could rest after a grueling schedule of appearing on nationally televised glitzy talk shows and reading two speech writer-crafted addresses from teleprompters.
Unfortunately, there wasn’t even time for a Broadway fundraiser – but maybe next time.
1979 article ties 'Obama's real father' to Saudi financier?
NEW YORK – The recently discovered 1979 newspaper article by Vernon Jarrett – the father-in-law of senior White House adviser Valerie Jarrett, opens a new dimension to understanding Obama’s youth, as Vernon Jarrett was a close friend of Obama’s Communist Party-activist mentor, Frank Marshall Davis.
The connections were not lost on Joel Gilbert, the filmmaker whose documentary “Dreams from My Real Father” argues Davis, a card-carrying member of the Communist Party USA, was the biological as well as ideological father of Barack Obama, not the Kenyan who came to the University of Hawaii in 1959.
The Nov. 6, 1979, column by Vernon Jarrett in the St. Petersburg Independent was unearthed by Frank Miele, editor of the Daily Inter Lake in Kalispell, Mont.
Joel Gilbert’s “Dreams from My Real Father” is available at WND’s Superstore
In the column, which originally appeared in the Chicago Tribune Nov. 2, 1979, Jarrett reported a proposal by Islamic radical and former Black Panther Khalid Abdullah Tariq al-Monsour, the lawyer previously known as Donald Warden, to work on behalf of Saudi Arabia and OPEC to provide $20 million for 10 years to aid 10,000 minority students each year.
Davis and Vernon Jarrett were close friends in Chicago and colleagues at the Chicago Defender and the Chicago Star, two communist-run newspapers in the 1940s.
In early 1948, Davis and Jarrett served together on the publicity committee of the Citizen’s Committee to Aid Packing-House Workers, a communist-organized labor union that represented workers in the meatpacking industry.
“Very possibly Vernon Jarrett’s path crossed that of Frank Marshall Davis when Barack Obama, Frank Marshall Davis’ son, needed financing to attend Harvard,” Gilbert said.
“Remarkably,” he continued, “Obama was in Chicago at the time, and Jarrett was on the scene to find politically favorable funding from a former Black Panther turned Black Muslim in the person of Khalid Al-Monsour, who had a convenient relationship with one of the richest men in the world – Saudi Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal.”
Gilbert carried the relationships full circle. As a former colleague of Davis in Chicago, he said, Jarrett had reason to want to connect Obama with al-Mansour’s funding program.
“But it doesn’t end there,” Gilbert continued. “Very possibly, Jarrett helped finance Frank’s son, possibly explaining why Obama would later return to use the connection once again, when he sought to get his wife, Michelle Obama, hired into Chicago Mayor Harold Washington’s office by none other than Valerie Jarrett, daughter-in-law of Vernon Jarrett.”
Gilbert noted the 1979 article also sheds light on the claim that veteran New York power broker and well-known attorney Percy Sutton intervened at the request of al-Mansour to write a letter of recommendation to get Obama into Harvard Law School.
“All it would have taken was for Vernon Jarrett to introduce Obama, the son of Frank Marshall Davis, to Al-Monsour,” Gilbert continued.
As WND reported in 2009, Sutton, then an octogenarian, explained on the New York-produced “Inside City Hall” television show that al-Monsour brought Obama to his attention.
Sutton said al-Mansour told him about Obama in a letter: “There’s a young man that has applied to Harvard. I know that you have a few friends left there because you used to go up there to speak. Would you please write a letter in support of him?”
Gilbert said al-Monsour might have known he could fund Obama through the Saudi prince, but first Obama had to get accepted into Harvard Law School for the plan to work. Al-Monsour realized Sutton had the necessary connections to make his recommendation credible to the Harvard Law School admittance committee, Gilbert said.
Gilbert also noted the 1979 article explains why Obama was so well accepted in the Chicago-based Muslim community, including by pro-Palestinian professor Rashid Khalidi and Syrian-born Democratic fundraiser Tony Rezko, who is now serving a prison sentence for fraud and bribery.
“Rezko and his many Arab-American partners funded Obama’s political campaigns, his state Senate races, his failed congressional race and his U.S. Senate campaign,” Gilbert explained. “It appears Obama’s academic career funders handed him off to Rezko’s Arab network to advance Obama’s political career. To what ends?”
Gilbert wondered if financial indebtedness to the Saudis might explain why Obama was so deferential as to bow to the Saudi king upon meeting him for the first time, at the G20 meeting in London in 2009.
“What did the Arab funders expect in return from Obama in return for the academic and political funding?” Gilbert asked.
“Is Barack Obama and the United States itself subject to blackmail, revealing the source of his academic funding, from those Arab funders if he does not follow their wishes?”
Gilbert continued speculating.
“Does the Jarrett-Al-Monsour connection dating from the time Obama went to Harvard explain why Obama has conducted an open-door policy for the Muslim Brotherhood to penetrate the White House, the State Department and even the U.S. military? How about Obama’s hostility toward Israel and Prime Minister Netanyahu? Maybe the roots there go back to 1979 as well.”
WND reported the testimony of Allen Hulton, a U.S. Postal Service carrier who delivered mail to the home of Weather Underground bomber Bill Ayers’ parents in suburban Chicago. Hulton says he was told by Mrs. Ayers that she and her husband helped finance Obama’s education at Harvard Law School.
“One thing is certain,” Gilbert concluded. “Obama comes out of a nexus of people in Chicago that includes not only Frank Marshall Davis and Vernon Jarrett but also Tony Rezko, Valerie Jarrett and the Bill Ayers family.”
He said the 1979 article “strongly suggests Obama used all of these connections to advance himself politically, and none of these connections were accidental.”
Tea party: GOP can win Obama's home turf
Needed now – 400 Republicans to volunteer in Cook County, Ill., to serve in November as election judges!
That’s the call urgently being put out by Sharon Meroni, a tea-party mother from the Chicago suburbs who is leading the charge to stop Democratic Party voter fraud in Cook County, which reported casting 76 percent of its vote for Obama in 2008.
“If we get the Republican volunteers we need in Cook County, I believe we might even swing the presidential election in Illinois for Romney,” she claimed in an exclusive interview with WND. “The problem is we need them right now.”
The application deadline is Thursday.
For years, Cook County Democrats have simply filled all election judge positions as county Republicans have virtually given up trying to fight entrenched Democratic Party corruption.
Now, Meroni has more than 600 Republican election judges signed up, and she is confident she will find the remaining 400 needed to fill Republican election judge positions.

The job pays $170 for the day, and it requires successfully completing training and assisting with polling place set-up before Election Day.
Applicants can get additional information at the Cook County Clerk’s website, at the Board of Election Commissioners for the City of Chicago website or by calling the Cook County Election Judge hotline at (312) 242-1818.
A “Volunteer Here” red button on Meroni’s DefendTheVote.com homepage takes those who want to apply directly to ElectionJudges.com, where a blue box, “Cook County Election Judge,” leads to a New Judge Application form on the Cook County Clerk website and a red box, “Chicago Election Judge,” leads to a “Become a Judge of Election” on the Board of Chicago Commissioners for the City of Chicago website.
If Meroni, who invites contact by email, fails to find 400 Republicans to serve, then Democrats will fill the positions, leaving Cook County polling places vulnerable to fraud, she said, with no one watching except Democrats.
Cook County has been notorious for voter fraud since 1960 when then-Chicago Mayor Richard J. Daley, the father of the current mayor, delivered to John Kennedy in the wee hours of the morning the exact margin of votes he needed to take Illinois and win the election from his Republican challenger, Richard Nixon.

Deciding to take the battle against voter fraud to the Chicago base of Barack Obama, Meroni created a website, DefendTheVote.com. In April 2011 she visited 239 precincts and scored them on 13 basic security features, such as whether or not the ballot boxes were secured.
“Shockingly, 90 percent of these 239 precincts failed in one measure or more of ballot security,” she said. “In some 139 precincts we validated, the voting officials did not seal the ballot box, opening the door for voter fraud.”
Meroni published the results of the study in the peer-reviewed Journal of Physical Security, authoring an 88-page paper titled “Vulnerability Assessment and Security Audit of Election Day Poling Place Proceedings for the April 5, 2011 Municipal Election in Chicago, Illinois.”
Her main conclusion was clear:
This study finds that significant procedural failures are occurring on an ongoing basis throughout the election process. We find even if current procedures are followed, these procedures completely fail to provide a tamper-resistant balloting environment. As a result, the integrity of votes cast in Chicago elections is subject to question.
Obama apologizes to U.N. for 'disgusting' anti-Islam film
UNITED NATIONS – In an eloquently crafted 4,000-word speech to the United Nations in which he invoked the legacy of Nelson Mandela, President Obama insisted upon doubling-down on the current course of U.S. foreign policy, repeating without revision long-standing administration foreign policy platitudes, while providing no new policy initiatives and admitting no U.S. foreign policy failures.
Consider the following:
Obama suggested the violence in Libya that caused the death of U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens was a result of outrage from a 14-minute movie trailer that offended Islam.
He insisted the Arab Spring was a movement toward democracy in the region despite the ascendency of the Muslim Brotherhood and the return of al-Qaida terrorism.
He chided Iran for developing nuclear weapons without saying what gave him confidence diplomacy and sanctions would stop Tehran after having failed to do so since Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice tried the same policy in the second term of the George W. Bush administration.
Ignoring evidence in recent days the attack in Benghazi that killed Stevens was an al-Qaida-coordinated attack, Obama apologized, after returning to the discredited narrative that the violence was in response to outrage from a “disgusting” 14-minute movie trailer that offended Islam.
“I have made it clear that the United States government had nothing to do with this video, and I believe its message must be rejected by all who respect our common humanity,” Obama told the opening session of the U.N. General Assembly. “It is an insult not only to Muslims, but to America as well – for as the city outside these walls makes clear, we are a country that has welcomed people of every race and religion.”

Promising to be relentless in tracking down the killers and bringing them to justice, Obama dealt with the terrorist attack that killed Stevens much as the Clinton administration had done before the 9/11 attacks – as a law enforcement matter that required perpetrators be punished for their crimes, not as an act of war that demanded a response from the U.S. military.
Obama went so far at to appear to apologize to the Muslim world for U.S. freedom of speech as defined by the First Amendment.
“I know there are some who ask why we don’t just ban such a video,” Obama said. “The answer is enshrined in our laws: Our Constitution protects the right to practice free speech.”
But not stopping there, Obama stressed that the film was offensive to him, suggesting it was also offensive to millions of Americans despite its relative obscurity.
“Like me, the majority of Americans are Christian, and yet we do not ban blasphemy against our most sacred beliefs,” he explained.
“Moreover, as president of our country, and commander-in-chief of our military, I accept that people are going to call me awful things every day, and I will always defend their right to do so. Americans have fought and died around the globe to protect the right of all people to express their views – even views that we disagree with.”
He acknowledged that “not all countries in this body share this understanding of the protection of free speech.”
The closest he got to condemning the Muslim violence that has spread across North Africa and the Middle East since Sept. 11 was to argue no speech justifies mindless violence.
Choosing to look past the resurgence of Muslim violence aimed at the United States, Obama praised the Arab Spring as a democracy movement, ignoring the extent to which the Muslim Brotherhood has come to ascendency in country after country, including Libya and Egypt.
“It has been less than two years since a vendor in Tunisia set himself on fire to protest the oppressive corruption in his country and sparked what became known as the Arab Spring,” he recalled. “Since then, the world has been captivated by the transformation that has taken place, and the United States has supported the forces of change.”
He praised Egypt by claiming “our support for democracy put us on the side of the people.”
He justified U.S. involvement in Libya saying the U.S. entered as part of “a broad coalition, and with the mandate of the U.N. Security Council, because we had the ability to stop the slaughter of innocents; and because we believed that the aspirations of the people were more powerful than a tyrant.”
In neither case did Obama refer to his abandonment of Mubarak in Egypt or Gadhafi in Libya, both long-standing allies of the United States.
He again denied American exceptionalism, claiming instead “freedom and self-determination are not unique to one culture. These are not simply American values or Western values – they are universal values.”
Indirectly, Obama tried to recover what is now apparently in shambles – a foreign policy based on engagement with the Muslim world.
“Just as we cannot solve every problem in the world, the United States has not, and will not, seek to dictate the outcome of democratic transitions abroad, and we do not expect other nations to agree with us on every issue,” he said, expressing accommodation.
“Nor do we assume that the violence of the past weeks, or the hateful speech by some individuals, represents the views of the overwhelming majority of Muslims – any more than the views of the people who produced this video represent those of Americans.”
At times sounding almost naïve, Obama pledged the future “must not belong to those who target Coptic Christians in Egypt – it must be claimed by those in Tahrir Square who chanted ‘Muslims, Christians, we are one.’”
When it came to Iran, Obama spoke typically tough but outlined no new policy initiatives and declined to specify whether or not U.S. policy would set any “redline” that would trigger military action as Iran edges closer toward nuclear weapons capability.
“Let me be clear: America wants to resolve this issue through diplomacy, and we believe that there is still time and space to do so. But that time is not unlimited,” Obama said, echoing countless similar pronouncements made by himself or Secretary of State Hillary Clinton since taking office in 2008.
“Make no mistake: A nuclear-armed Iran is not a challenge that can be contained. It would threaten the elimination of Israel, the security of Gulf nations and the stability of the global economy. It risks triggering a nuclear-arms race in the region, and the unraveling of the non-proliferation treaty. That is why a coalition of countries is holding the Iranian government accountable. And that is why the United States will do what we must to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon.”
On what those steps might be, Obama was silent.
He concluded his speech where he began, promising to prosecute the criminals who killed Stevens and reaching out to the Muslim world in an attempt to make the assassination of a U.S. ambassador not as a failure of his administration but as a “teachable moment” that could lead to yet greater accord with the Muslim world.
“And today I promise you this – long after these killers are brought to justice, Chris Stevens’ legacy will live on in the lives he touched” he promised once again in conclusion.
“In the tens of thousands who marched against violence through the streets of Benghazi; in the Libyans who changed their Facebook photo to one of Chris; in the sign that read, simply, ‘Chris Stevens was a friend to all Libyans.’”

Eligibility challenge arises in Electoral College
A challenge to Barack Obama’s eligibility to be president is forming within the Electoral College process, WND has confirmed.
James Grinols, one of 10 presidential electors chosen by the Republican Party of Minnesota, is asking GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney and vice presidential candidate Rep. Paul Ryan to provide his legal counsel, Mario Apuzzo, with their “paper, full form official certificate of birth with raised seal from the place of your birth.”
Grinols told WND that if Romney and Ryan were to win his state, but they ignore his request to provide verification of their eligibility, he might not vote for the Republican candidates in the Electoral College.
“I may be idealistic, but it seems my only available option is to help the Republicans lead by example,” he said.
Grinols’ goal is to establish a standard in the Electoral College that each candidate for the presidency and vice presidency present to duly nominated electors of their parties an official long-form birth certificate to demonstrate that the candidates are qualified as natural born citizens, according to Article 2, Section 1 of the Constitution.
Each party in each state in which its candidate is running for president, chooses a slate of electors. If Mitt Romney wins the popular vote in Minnesota, for example, all 10 of the Republican Party of Minnesota’s electors would cast a vote in the Electoral College.
“If we could get Republican electors in all states – all [538] of them – to ask for Romney’s birth certificate, it would have a visible, strong moral pull at least to independents who might finally see the absurdity of a presidential candidate going to court in order to resist being forced to show birth certificate credentials,” he said.
Grinols’ legal counsel, Apuzzo, is a New Jersey attorney who has filed many legal challenges to Obama’s presidential eligibility.
In an interview with WND, Grinols acknowledged he could not force presidential electors for Democrats in Minnesota or Republican presidential electors in any other state to join him in demanding to see the original birth certificates of presidential and vice presidential candidates.
“Still, my goal is to set a standard,” Grinols explained. “If I demand to see the birth certificates as credentials, I hope the idea will catch on and the Democratic Party presidential electors will do the same for Barack Obama and Joe Biden.”
Ultimately, Grinols said, he would like to have the Electoral College set a birth credential criteria for all serious presidential candidates, regardless of political party affiliation.
“I encourage elector nominees of my party and all other parties to do the same,” he said. “I am aware that there are other electors beginning the task for their party. You were chosen for such a time as this. You owe it to your country, your state and your party to trust but verify.”

Grinols insisted the requirement to verify candidates are eligible for the office of president and vice president demands electors see long-form birth certificates that are genuine and officially certified by appropriate state authorities.
“Minnesota trusts but verifies future teenage drivers by insisting on a physical, full-form, certified birth certificate with raised seal and will not accept an Internet copy,” he said. “The Electoral College should accept no less.”
'Unskewed' polls show nearly 8-point Romney lead
NEW YORK – Arguing that most of the major polls reported by establishment media are “skewed” in favor of the Democratic Party and incumbent Barack Obama, a website contends that a true gauge of the presidential race, based on more realistic models, shows Republican challenger Mitt Romney leading by an average of nearly eight points.
In its daily readjustment of the polling data, UnskewedPoll.com also produces a table showing the spread in President Obama’s approval/disapproval ratio is an average of 8.8 percent more disapproval, as of Monday.
Not a single major poll or approval/disapproval index favors Obama when Unskewed.com’s analysis is applied.
The website says there is Democratic bias in polling because of over-sampling Democrats based on voter exit polls in the 2008 presidential election, when enthusiasm for a then relatively unknown but charismatic presidential candidate boosted Democratic Party voter registration and turnout to historic levels.

Republicans have complained that the establishment media’s voter-turnout models can serve a partisan purpose by presenting margins that keep discouraged Republican voters at home thinking the election is already lost.
Signs Obama losing
Despite the establishment media narrative that the Romney campaign is behind and in disarray, there are abundant signs the Obama campaign is behind and scrambling not to lose further ground:
On Saturday, Obama campaign manager Jim Messina insisted to reporters that despite national polls showing Romney and Obama locked in a tie, Obama is still winning.
WND reported last week Obama’s chief financier, Penny Pritzker, has entered the Hawaii housing market to buy a retirement home for the president and his family that will be available not in 2016, but in January 2013.
On the eve of the opening session of the General Assembly, the Obama administration’s Middle Eastern policy appears to be imploding in the wake of the murder of U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens in an attack that intelligence sources believe was coordinated by jihadists tied to al-Qaida. The administration, nevertheless, insisted the attack was a response to an anti-Muslim movie trailer produced in the U.S.
Initial jobless claims for the week ending Sept. 15 were a seasonally adjusted 382,000, exceeding forecasts of 375,000, suggesting no improvement in the percentage of Americans unemployed could be anticipated before the November election, as reported by Wall Street Journal Market Watch.
Politico has reported that in the latest Politico-George Washington University Battleground Poll with middle-class families, which constitute approximately 54 percent of the electorate and usually split their vote between Democratic and Republican candidates, Romney holds a 14-point advantage, 55 percent to 41 percent.
