(This column is posted at www.StevenSavage.comand Steve’s Tumblr)

Her Eternal Moonlight,” the look at female fans of Sailor Moon that my co-author Bonnie have been working on for 16 months is out. Available in both ebook and physical format! You’ve been hearing about it – now it’s done and it’s something I’m proud of! Seriously, take a look at this cover by the amazing Jennifer Cox.

Bacon Peanuts – Vegan

(This column is posted at www.StevenSavage.comand Steve’s Tumblr)

I’ve missed posting my recipes, and I want to get back to my blogging, so behold – my latest creation. A vegan snack dish consisting of peanuts that taste like bacon. Seriously, it’s a bit creepy how good it tastes.

Theres little in the way of additives or added sweetener, so you’ve got a heck of a healthy snack here. That tastes like bacon.

2 cups roasted, unsalted peanuts (you can use unroasted peanuts, but may taste differe...

Steve’s Update 9/17/2016

(This column is posted at www.StevenSavage.com, www.SeventhSanctum.com, and Steve’s Tumblr)

I’m actually getting back to these! Awesome!

Work should be a bit calmer now. We had some changes in organization and process that look to be more efficient and effective, and it’s already paying dividends in just a week. So let’s hope you see more writing out of me (though my goal is to be writing anyway).

So from here . . .

Her Eternal Moonlight

Her Eternal Moonlightis so close to release! I’m reall...

Steve’s Update 9/12/2016

(This column is posted at www.StevenSavage.com, www.SeventhSanctum.com, and Steve’s Tumblr)

What is this? Another update? Yes, amazing.

So anyway, to give you a bigger story on my slow blogging it’s pretty much been one thing after another. Mostly work and some shuffling around duties, software releases, and more. It’s also been a bunch of other stuff going on from helping friends out to errands. I haven’t had life get this much on top of me in awhile, though the smoke appears to be clearing....

Civic Diary: 9/5/2016

(This column is posted at www.StevenSavage.comand Steve’s Tumblr)

Been awhile on one of these hasn’t it? Nope, haven’t forgotten, but it’s been a crazy few weeks. Work, book launch, friends had problems, more work,a class. It honestly got on top of me.

This also means my civic engagement has been low – right when I wanted to get more involved, after going through some pretty crazy adventures finding out justhow I could be.

No excuses, I had to prioritize and was exhausted. But there’s lessons...

Steve’s Update 8/23/2016

(This column is posted at www.StevenSavage.com, www.SeventhSanctum.com, and Steve’s Tumblr)

Wait, so where have I been?

Sorry to vanish for, well, nearly two weeks, but it got crazy.

Short form is I had a crazy 4 weeks with work, book publishing, class, and a bit of illness. This then compounded with two more weeks of crazy brought about by exhaustion, more work, family and friend issues, and more. The smoke is finally clearing, but my major reaction is roughly A) WTF happened, and B) Thank...

Steve’s Update 8/10/2016

(This column is posted at www.StevenSavage.com, www.SeventhSanctum.com, and Steve’s Tumblr)

Hey everyone, had a busy time with the book launch and so on, so here’s the latest. I’ve had a crazy few weeks so it’s not much of an update:

Way With Worlds Book 2 is now coming out in January. There’s two reasons: 1) Editing the last book was brutal and with the holidays I wanted more time, and 2) Deploying the book during the holidays is going to mean it’ll get lost among all the activities of the...

Civic Diary 8/8/2016

(This column is posted at www.StevenSavage.comand Steve’s Tumblr)

Another brutal week – busy at work and got sick on top of that. The illness meant . . . I ended up missing that big political meeting I’d been looking forward to. But still keeping at it. So here’s what’s been up.

Once I realized I was ill, I signed up for a GOTV event I’d been looking at anyway, and informed one of my contacts about my situation. The event I signed up for is at a political headquarters I’ve visited anyway, so...

Civic Diary 7/31/2016

(This column is posted at www.StevenSavage.comand Steve’s Tumblr)

Not my best week as an engaged citizen, but also a week where I considered a few important issues and had some insights. So let’s get to my latest on being a better citizen.

Civic Engagement

Beyond my upcoming visit to a political organizing party where I’ll work on GOTV, I’ve also engaged a member of a local political group to advise me – just in case this doesn’t work. After my past experiences, I want backup plans.

I’ve don...

Way With Worlds Book 1 Is Out!

Way With Worlds Book 1 is out. Go get it in print or kindle. Or both if you want.

If you’re new to the book, it’s a giant guide to worldbuilding, from philosophy of setting creation, to sex, to ecology, and more. There’s advice, exercises, several lame jokes, and some insights that should give you a different view on creating your settings. It’s designed to be a manual for the important points of making a setting.

After some sixteen years, this is the next stage in my efforts to bring this ol...
