So Many Platforms and not Enough Patience!
Well - goodness!
This past week I have begun setting up accounts for KRealMcCoy, and it has NOT been easy!
I thought that I knew all the social platforms that there was to chose from to get my name out there as an self published author.
No, no I did not know just how many platforms there are for me to chose from - at all!
There is Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Medium, WordPress, Blogger, Reddit, Pinterest, and oh so many more!
I even briefly flirted with a newer platform called Twitch. Yeah, but that was short lived and I will soon write a post explaining why later this month.
Needless to say, I have not had a chance to write a single sentence to any of my works in progresses this week due to getting my online presence more intact.
And that changes tonight! I am part of a lovely group of writers who meet on Saturday nights via Google Hangouts to participate in Sprints!
The group is called Sprints and Spirits, as a matter of fact, and everyone there is so positive, welcoming, and encouraging.
Just what I need after this somewhat stressful week of media mayhem!
Sigh. I will be sure to check back in with you amazing novel lovers and writers next week.
Until then - continue reading, continue writing, and continue to love the process!

Trying Twitter for the Second Time.
Sigh.
Well, that was interesting.
After months of being locked out of my previous Twitter account (changed phone numbers without removing that iron clad text password verification), I finally gave up on resolving the issue.
Until a few minutes when I decided that it would be easier to just create a whole new account!
Took me all of ten minutes, by the way :-)
Now you can find me again on the Twitter universe under 'KRealMcCoy2'.
Also, if you haven't had the chance to check out my 'interview' with Smashwords, then click here.
Enjoy novel lovers and writers!

K. McCoy. Nice to meet you.
Hello!I am beyond happy that you decided to check out my little humble social space.
Now that I fully see myself as a writer, I went ahead and started this blog!Well, I have more than this blog, but I am shopping around to see which I will like using the most at the moment.
My stories are ones that have been rambling around in my head and begging me to type them out for the world. Since the age of 12 I have had a love of taking pen to paper and making sense of my feelings that way.
First it began with silly angst poems, then short sassy stories for my English classes, and last year I completed Nanowrimo. That was the break that I needed to push myself forward and say, "Well dang sis, you CAN do this!".
And along with that realization came a slew of other story ideas that I had written in my journals or a song that I never shared with anyone. Needless to say, my future works list is quite long now!
While on this 'Something to something else' road, I will also record my struggle, thoughts, and honest feelings on my Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube channel. My love for Canva grows everyday too, so come to expect beautiful layouts and story summaries from me too.
Look forward to seeing and hearing from you soon!- K. McCoy
