Rudy Whitcomb – “Fruit of the Fungus”

Rudy

Rudy Whitcomb stars as Nolan Nachman in the new short film “Fruit of the Fungus.”

You can watch the new release from Wickid Pissa Films here – http://www.vimeo.com/picknroll/fruitofthefungus

What comes to mind when you think about growing up in your hometown?

1940’s and 1950’s described in “Those Kids Down the Street.” Small California town, strictly blue collar. We did have to rent the house out during the war and we lived in a hotel next to The Pike in Long Beach. I learned how to take care of myself.

What do you remember most about your teenage years?

Horney and poor.

What is most important to your mother?

My mother has been gone for years. Keeping us together, my little brother and I especially during the war and the tough years afterwards. My father left us when I was four.

How did you choose your career and what is your favorite part about it?

I was lucky enough to stumble into an office job. I was small and the only jobs in Torrance were in the factory. I was too small for that kind of work. I happened into a job as an office boy in the eighth largest insurance agency in the world. We handled Universal Pictures, MGM, Mobil Oil and many other large accounts. This was my introduction to success and money. I became part of the world of Howard Hughes, Bart Litton, Lew Wasserman, Greg Bautzer, Hal Ahmanson. I have partied and raised hell almost all my life, from Hawaii and Hollywood to New York to London, France and Spain.

What three events have most shaped your life?

I have had many events, but most of all it was my immersion, at 19 years of age, to the life of Hollywood, and big business. I took to it like a duck to water.

What message do you have for the world?

I stopped giving advice years ago. I found that by being successful, many young people were inclined to take my advice and it didn’t always turn out well for them.

What three words best describe who you are?

Always hungry, always wanting more. Once ain’t enough.

What do you believe people want the most in life?

Different people want or think they want different things.

What are the three best decisions you’ve ever made?

To hang in there in my early years in the insurance business, to marry my wife Martie and to fight to keep her.

What are you most thankful for?

My health and good fortune and a wife as adventurous as I.

Introducing – Bastian & Maria Yotta

Yotta.jpg

Introducing my new lifestyle clients Bastian and Maria Yotta – http://www.instagram.com/yotta_life

They caused a recent stir in the news after Instagram images of their decadent ‘Playboy mansion’ lifestyle went viral around the world.

In a series of bold images they boasted unashamedly of a life filled with sexually charged pool parties, supercars, and $10,000 shopping sprees.

The couple have their own business, which sells a line of ‘body forming’ machines as well as a method for losing weight in your sleep, called MindSlimming.

According to Bastian, they were hounded out of Germany for being too flashy, saying people would spit on their Ferrari and sneer at Maria’s large breasts.

So he packed up his life and settled in LA to fulfill his dream of living the ‘Baywatch life’ after he became obsessed with the show while growing up in cold, landlocked Munich

It’s a lifestyle that costs them $100,000 a month.

They are currently working to launch a new reality series in The States which will focus on their lavish lifestyle.

Introducing – Actor – Lawrence Chau

Lawrence

Introducing my new actor client Lawrence Chau – http://www.lawrencechau.com

He is a multi-faceted, multi-award-winning entertainer with an illustrious portfolio spanning acting, hosting, writing, producing and music. He has worked in Canada, Asia and now America.

He is widely known as the host of the award-winning paranormal series Ghostly Encounters, which airs stateside on Destination America, north of the border on OWN Canada, and in Asia on Crime & Investigation TV.

After graduating with a degree in journalism, Lawrence first rocked the airwaves not in his hometown of Toronto, but rather half way around the world in Asia.

First TV gig: as co-host and writer of Citylife, Hong Kong’s top rated prime time English entertainment and lifestyle program in the mid-90s. During this time, Lawrence also acted in theatre and appeared in numerous commercials and print ads.

The floodgates to show business, however, really burst open when Lawrence was talent scouted by the television execs in Singapore. Originally slated to become an afternoon vee-jay, Lawrence was drafted practically by accident as a temporary roving reporter on Showbuzz, the nation’s No. 1 English prime time entertainment news program.

The new 1997 season of Showbuzz featured an aggressive media campaign plugging the new anchor with no mention of Lawrence whatsoever; however, like its own E! True Hollywood Story, the public and press took — not to the new anchor — but to Lawrence (subsequently dubbed The Accidental Host) with a never-before-seen-like frenzy.

In addition to hosting, Lawrence has acted in numerous projects in Asia, Canada and the US.  He also continues to work behind the scenes writing and producing, and is currently developing a TV series, a web series and a feature film.

He recently acted in General Hospital and in two high-end short films:  the award-winning Dive, which focuses on a boxer forced to take a “dive” in a career-changing match because of his hidden sexuality; and Farm 1, which sheds light on the dark subject of child trafficking.
