Devils and spirits in the dark night

Here we are with only just a few days until Halloween 2015. I usually watch a few of my favourite horror films in this week, and read at least one horror novel or a few horrro short stories. Right now I am reading Graham Masterton's The 5th Witch, some Ramsey Campbell and other pieces. What horror book or stories might you be reading? Which horror tales of fiction do you rate as the best?

Cold dark nights and writing

Now we are in October, and while I wait for the next stages in publishing of my new second SF novel, I am currently making new notes and redrafting my first horror novel which I did write the last version of around three years ago.
The main tale is there, as are the characters, but I can see that I want much of it to expand, grow and add detail and depth to the story.
This book I hope to find publishing for in late 2016, and through next year I may intend to start the next horror novel. There are many planned and ready to be written.

Between worlds and stories of summer...

They say it is summer now, but with heavy rain in the last few days this is questionable. I am taking a break from extended writing work on book projects, and going over my old screenplays currently.
This does not mean that there will be no new fiction from me. In recent months I have finished my latest new SF novel, and currently the matter of publishing it is being considered. This new future tale may be available in some interesting form not too long from now. More news about this soon.

They are all in space now...

There we have it-my new science fiction novel is now done. It has been almost two years, and it seems that the final draft is over with.
Now I have the final title to decide upon, and a few small pieces related to the book but the main next part will be publishing.
If all goes well, I hope to have it published in similar ways to my previous and first book Orbital Kin-paperback and ebook-in a few months time from now.
I can tell you very little about this new book now, more info soon.

A tale in space ends...

Well here we are at the end of April 2015, and I can tell you that I have just about finished writing my new science fiction novel manuscript. Currently near 400 pages, and just putting the final few details and changes in place. I hope to then send it away to be published at some point in the near future. Keep watching this space, my twitter and facebook for more new info soon... (my website is sadly still down, blog genrerama available to read).

Springtime and the end of tales

Hello all of you. How are things with you at this time of year?
Right here, near the middle of March now, I am nearing the end of writing and editing/drafting my new science fiction novel. It has taken a good while, but in terms of writing not too long really. In some ways I may be getting better with my speed and methods of creating worlds, characters, tales.
I hope to arrange some form of this new book to be published like Orbital Kin as paperback and ebook in the next year or less, and in that period I will also then be aiming to get my first horror novel published in the most suitable form. This tale has been with me for a long while, and it needs some alterations but it will hopefully be a good tale of very different chills and fear.

Winter wonder and festive times...

Hello everyone, it has been a while. We are heading toward the end of another year, seeing the lights, decorations, trees and snow around us now (well, in some places, mostly rain here.) It has been a good year with a good number of events promoting my first published science fiction novel Orbital Kin. Highlights were my signings at the Liverpool convention and most recently the sci-fi convention in Bolton. It was great to talk to many about science fiction, books, writing and more at each event. Hope you enjoy your copy of Orbital Kin.
In a few days, we will be into 2015, where soon my next SF book will be done and hopefully published soon after. You can then expect my first horror novel, and other fiction projects ahead.
Be merry, keep reading and see you all soon.

Between Daleks and artists...

Hello all, hope things are good with you. I was over in Rochdale at the weekend, promoting and signing my SF novel Orbital Kin. It was a great day, sat between two comic creators and a film stuntman on my right. Lots of good community and family fun, happy kids, good discussion of books, sci-fi, comics. Next up, Bolton in a couple of weeks...

In The Flesh...

Currently while working hard on this new science fiction novel (well into final drafts now) I have set up two more dates where I will be promoting my first published novel Orbital Kin from last year.
In October I will be at the first Rochdale Comicbook event, on the 26th.
In November I will be at the Bolton Science Fiction/Comicbook show. More info soon.
As ever, if you would like your copy of Orbital Kin signed, or like to meet and chat, I will be very happy to see you at these events.

Summerland...

Over these past few summer weeks I have been working on a second draft of my new science fiction novel. The story is building well, characters emerging more clearly over time, the plot and details looking better. Hope to have it done totally before christmas, then onto other work and projects next year...
