Writing for charity.

Evening all,

So I have nearly done it. Several months ago I embarked upon writing another children's book. This time around I was more prepared and better educated in the craft of writing. Then, after going through the process of becoming a foster carer, ( Panel in May) I decided to donate my new ibook to the non-profit charitable organisation The Children's Family trust. With the book nearly completed I heard about a local boy who had a terminal illness. His name was Charlie Harris-Beard, ufortunately brave little Charlie lost his battle with Leukimeia in February. The courage shown by this boy and his parents compelled me to add their cause (Cords4life) and the hospital (Birmingham Children's Hospital) that worked so hard to make his stay on earth longer to the list of recipients.
Now I have completed the ibook and an illustrator friend of mine is working on the illustrations, I have set a date of the 4th of May for it to be released through Amazon, Apple, plus many more. To find out more about the book itself and the charities involved head over to www.nasusreklaw.com, oh and spread the word. Also let me know if anyone else has or considered writing a book for charity. I'd love to hear from you.
