Ruins of Noe Cover Art is Here!

The fabulous Julie Fain has done it again with this lovely cover art for White Forest Book Two:  The Ruins of Noe. This is the wrap-around cover art (front and back) and we couldn't be more pleased with it.

The artwork says everything I want it to say about this story – how alone and helpless Brigitta feels with the weight of her destiny upon her, how ominous the setting is, but also how strangely beautiful. It is, of course, the land of the Ancients and has a significant place in White Forest faerie lore. It's like hearing about the Acropolis all your life and then suddenly being in Athens staring across at it. A bit surreal.

July Interviews, Reviews, Giveaways, and Deals!

Brigitta of the White Forest had a lot going on this month and you can still win a copy of the book or get a smashing deal.

First up, if you haven't been over to BookTwirps yet, and you enjoy Middle Grade and YA fiction, you should definitely check it out. It's one of my new favourite review sites. It's  slick, active, easy to navigate, and covers a great range of MG/YA books.

Last week on BookTwirps, O'Dell wrote up a lovely REVIEW of Brigitta.

Then he posted a featured INTERVIEW with me.

Now he's GIVING AWAY a copy of the book. You can enter up until July 29.

Also this month: I was one of the featured children's authors on Cantastic Authorpalooza over at 10 Stories Up – where I talk about creating the Brigitta book trailer and going on an extended book tour.

Lastly . . . it's our

SUMMER DEAL!

Need more summer books for your Kindle? For a limited time you can get the E-BOOK edition of Brigitta on Amazon for $1.99.

Brigitta Book Trailer Wrapped

Last weekend we wrapped the shoot for the Briggy live action book trailer. We had a blast faerie-ing around in the forest in Stanley Park, which is a lovely place to be, filming or otherwise. The park is a museum of tree sculpture.

Faeries Live Here

Shaleigh Lachance (Himalette) and Haley Hunt (Brigitta) and were good sports about having to be blue most of the day.

Our fabulous make-up artist, Leah Wilburn, created their blue look and gave them their faerie ears. We all wanted some, of course. Who wouldn't?

For more photos from the shoot, visit Brigitta's Facebook Page.

White Forest ReRoute

This is the temporary home of Danika Dinsmore's Faerie Tales from the White Forest book series.

My original White Forest website may have been compromised/hacked. It is being rerouted here until I can figure out what is going on.

I may not have any time to deal with this until after my book tour (March 12 – Apr 11). If you'd like information regarding my tour or appearances, please contact info (at) danikadinsmore (dot) com

OR check out the information on the Brigitta of the White Forest FaceBook page.
