Marie Allen is a Delaware native. She lives in Wilmington with her husband, daughter and granddaughter. For the past eight years, she has dedicated her life to educating young people about the perils of addiction. After the tragic death of her oldest daughter, Erin, Marie began educating and assisting families in crisis.

Marie began working with The New Castle County Police and Paramedics Heroin Alert Team in 1998. Marie’s efforts have been cited in numerous newspapers over the years. She has received several awards for exemplary community service through education.

Ms. Allen has testified before the United State Senate in Washington, D.C. and in Dover for improved addiction treatment.
