David Cole in Auschwitz Full Documentary
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aQjNs...
This is a film on the Holocaust by David Cole - he is a Jew
It is a revisionist film. After making this film David Cole was reviled world wide and received death threats from all quarters but especially from Jews.
As a result he changed his name in 1998 and went into hiding for 15 years - his true identity was revealed in 2013 by a disgruntled ex-girlfriend.
He has since received more death threats and gone back into hiding.
Whether you agree with him or not, in a democracy proclaiming the right to freedom of speech he should be allowed to make the film and continue to walk the streets unmolested.
Salman Rushdie is a Muslim - he wrote the Satanic Verses in 1988 and was condemned to death by all Muslims.
In the West we defended Rushdie's right to publish his book. He was provided with police protection indefinitely. He was given a knighthood in 2007.
Twelve people were killed by gunmen in Charlie Hebdo’s Paris offices a year ago on Thursday.
Marking the atrocity, a statement led by writers’ organisation PEN International and signed by more than 70 PEN centres and freedom of expression groups underlines their “commitment to the defence of the right to freedom of expression, even when that right is being used to express views that some may consider offensive”.
My point is, if we support Salman Rushdie and Charlie Hebdo then we must also support David Cole.
“Goebbels was in favour of free speech for views he liked. So was Stalin. If you’re really in favour of free speech, then you’re in favour of freedom of speech for precisely the views you despise. Otherwise, you’re not in favour of free speech.” Noam Chomsky
