In his weekly column, Illinois' top Catholic told his supporters that businesses that must follow nondiscrimination ordinances that pertain to LGBT citizens are suffering similarly to those who a suffer under Sharia Law:

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Head of the Archdiocese of Chicago and former president of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, Cardinal Francis George has blasted the Obama administration and misguided allies of the homosexual equivalency movement which have enforced...

NOM to Oregon: We will not let your dead horses rest; please direct us to your whips and paddles

Or as the pro-discrimination group (with no actual ties to Oregon) puts it:

When asked what legal right they had to keep this thing going, NOM leaders answered, "Hubris. That's a legal principle, right?"

Video: Anti-gay evangelist Ray Comfort crowd funding for hostile film; fittingly titled 'Audacity'

Some people seek crowdfunding for a really cool invention that betters the world in a novel way. Others finance a really entertaining or educational project that might have trouble obtaining cash-flow in the traditional way.

Others still beg for cash so that they can make fictional movies that seek to shame and stigmatize gay people. Such Audacity:

If you really want to be sick, go read his interview with the American Family Association's "news" department, where the very anti-gay man tells the...

Today in *actually* thinking of and protecting children: Third Circuit finds NJ's 'ex-gay' ban perfectly constitutional

Good news for those who love well-adjusted gay people, scientific truth, proper concern for the welfare of youth, and the draining of deeply damaging snake oil:

NEW JERSEY: Third Circuit Court Upholds Ban On "Ex-Gay" Torture Of LGBT Youth [J.M.G.]

No word on how the anti-gay activists behind the legal challenge now plan to tell scared, impressionable youth (and their even more impressionable parents) that they are broken and in need of fixing. But knowing their movement and its indoctrination t...

Bryan Fischer, senior AFA analyst, continues to make his employer look like an outlandish joke

The latest musing from the senior American Family Association spokesperson whose myopic view of America has, by now, denigrated, stigmatized, marginalized, or otherwise denied basically anyone who is not a white evangelical Republican man from Tupelo, Mississippi:

Religious freedom, y'all! Because America.

No word if Bryan will deign to allow a closeted atheist under some new sort of "Don't Ask Don't Tell" policy. I hear he first wants to determine...

Audio: Phil Robertson tells Tony Perkins that sexually transmitted diseases are God's punishment

More dangerous rhetoric from the Duck Dynasty patriarch, who today appeared on the radio show of anti-gay leader Tony Perkins:

Washington Watch with Tony Perkins, 9/9/14

Phil should love me then. I've been with the same one man for nearly twelve years. My sex—my hot, steamy, throbbing, unrepentant homosexual sex—is about as safe as it can get.

*Side note: Listening to this full interview (which you can do at the above link), I was struck by just how conceited this man is about his family and i...

Liberty Counsel's Staver: 'You cannot coexist...on something that is literally an attack on God himself'

I often say that when the anti-LGBT activists talk, we should believe that they actually mean what they say. I repeat that line often because I think we, as in Americans in general, have a tendency to listen to what these folks are saying about us and almost dismiss it to some other part of space and time that is detached fem real life. Which is understandable, considering how ludicrous the charges so often are; it's easy to see the people who say such silly things as being almost like carica...
