"THE MAN IN THE RED SUIT" A Devilishly Dark Comedy In One Act

Perry Roussel is having the worst Christmas of his life. Trapped in a snowstorm in an isolated mountain cabin he is visited by three strangers. As he argues the very existence of Santa Claus WITH Santa Claus, and struggles with Satan for the lives and souls of his family, Perry comes to terms with his life, his loves, his beliefs and his very existence. A modern day 'Christmas Carol" and a Devilishly Dark Comedy, this play will make you consider what is really important in your life.


"THE CAT & SQUIRREL DIALOGUES" A Wild Life Comedy In One Act

Tom Cat and Redd Squirrel are the odd couple of the animal world, along with their friends Goldie Finch and Maury Dove they have a good thing going. That is until a new Pussy comes to town in the form of Little Kitty. A Feline Femme Fatale, Little Kitty tries to win Tom away from his furry and feathered friends. Will Tom succumb to Little Kitty's wiles? Will Tom turn his back and claws on his friends? Will he give into his urges and own worst nature? A modern day Aesop's Fable, come see the play and find out which way this Tom will jump.

*CONSTANCE BALL as "Mother" and "The Caroler"
Constance (AEA/SAG-AFTRA) began her professional career as a "tween," playing Emily in Our Town. From there she grew up in television, commercials, and professional theatre. Favorite plays performed include roles in American Clock, Le Misanthrope, Wild Oats (Mark Taper); The Oldest Living Graduate, After the Fall, Vanities (Company of Angels); Ghosts, The Cherry Orchard, Measure for Measure, Working, Melons (Yale Rep/School of Drama) and recently Before A Fall (Hollywood Fringe Festival). TV credits include It's Gary Shandling's Show, Knightrider, CHiPs, Quincy, and a recurring role in From Here to Eternity. Constance is a graduate of Yale School of Drama.


KEITH WALKER BOOS as "Maury Dove" and "Satan"
Keith grew up in Colorado where he discovered his love of theatre. In Los Angeles he's trained at USC, Joe Anthony Studios and Improv Olympic West. Thanks to Jonathan, Wendilyn and the rest of the Cast.


*MARTHA BRIGHAM as "Little Kitty" and "The Lady In The Green Dress"
Martha Brigham is a Massachusetts native with a serious love for theatre and film! Most recently she was working at the La Jolla Playhouse on Meg Miroshnik's "The Tall Girls". Also Check her out soon in the After Dark/ Lionsgate horror film "Children Of Sorrow" and of course these wonderful short plays by Jonathan Emrys at the Secret Rose Theatre!


MICHAELA QVALE as "Goldie Finch"
Michaela Qvale has performed Off-Broadway at the Little Times Square Arts Center, on community theater stages including the Bucks County Playhouse and Washington Crossing Open Air Theater, and in short films and music videos. She is currently taking a gap year in Los Angeles to study at the Ivana Chubbuck Studio and Groundlings School of Improv before returning to the east coast to attend Columbia University in the fall. She is thrilled to be making her Los Angeles stage debut in The Cat and Squirrel Diaries and would like to thank her family and everyone that is a part of the production.


GREGORY A. THOMPSON as "Redd Squirrel" and "Santa Claus"
Gregory A. Thompson is a rarity in this business; being born and raised in Los Angeles. He has been pursuing acting as a career since 2004. Film, Television and Theatre audiences have been pleasantly surprised by Gregory's naturalness and presence on screen and stage. A few of Gregory's more recent stage performances are Jitney by August Wilson where he recreated the role of Becker, The Girls of Summer by Layon Gray, 12 Angry Men, by Reginald Rose, and Split Second by Dennis McIntyre. Gregory has also performed in films, most recently "500 Days of Summer" as well as many short films that were entered into film festivals, and television, including a Guest Star role on "Monk", a Co-star role on the sitcom "Community", as well as various commercials and print work. He has studied under Jean Shelton, Judith Weston, Michael Beach and Stephen Snyder.


DAVID TUCKER as "Tom Cat" and "Perry Roussel"
David Tucker has performed at the Elephant Theater with "A Working Theater" where he starred in "Houdini" as Kip Hollinger. He has been in many short films, such as "The Train" and "Silent", including some on the festival circuit. He has co-starred in a number of Television shows, such as "Operation Repo" and "1000 Ways To Die", to name just two.

David attended the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television graduating in 2012. While at UCLA David starred in such shows as: "Someone Who'll Watch Over Me" as Adam; "Angels In America" as Roy Cohn; "Balm in Gilead as Bob; "Much Ado About Nothing" as Antonio; and "The Devils" as Trincant, to name but a few . David was also part of the weekly sketch comedy resTV show "Enter The Extravaganza" while at UCLA

David Tucker was born and raised north of Chicago in Highland Park, Illinois. There he attended Highland Park High School and studied under the excellent Theatre Arts teacher Scott Shallenbarger. Scott's acting program gives his high school students a professional level of training, and treats them as professionals with all the rights and responsibilities this calls for. While in the Highland Park High School Acting program David performed in many productions including "Full Circle" as Heiner Muller and in "The Diary of Anne Frank" as Otto Frank. David is committed to working continuously in film and television with the occasional stage role on the side. David is a young actor with the drive, heart and talent to achieve his dreams.

WRITER-DIRECTOR: Jonathan Emrys
Jonathan Emrys was born in Sitka, Alaska and grew up in Quartz Hill, California. He was an actor for ten years in various productions in College and Repertory Theatres. He has worn various hats in the Entertainment Industry from playing 'John Murphy' in "The New Roswell: Kecksberg Exposed", to working at a negative cutting company, to being a Second Assistant Director on "The Big Gig". Jonathan has attended classes at UCLA Extension in Writing, and was a member of the Creative Writing Program at Antioch University, Los Angeles. Jonathan has published, over the last two years, his first novel SCARECROWS: A DANDY World, and the playbook for THE MAN IN THE RED SUIT. Both are available at www.Amazon.com.


PRODUCER: Wendilyn Emrys
Wendilyn Emrys holds a degree in History from UCLA, where she studied Archaeomythology under the Late Marija Gimbutas, PHD, along with History and Theatre Arts. Wendilyn is an Archaeomythologist, Artist, Freelance Writer, Publisher, Editor, and Theatre Producer in Los Angeles. She is a founding partner of Emrys Entertainment, Bloodthirsty Productions, HengeHouse Studios, and Wendilyn Emrys Eikoonographia.


LIGHTING DESIGNER: Holly Ratafia, LEED GA/Designer
Holly Ratafia in an architectural lighting designer, theatrical designer, prop maker and puppeteer. She has worked in regional theatre for a great many years and especially likes working on community based art projects. She also particularly enjoys bringing individual artist's visions to light.


STAGE MANAGER: Draper Harris
Draper Harris is proud to serve as Stage Manager. He currently leads, as acting coach, the Actors Endowment Group (A.E.G.) of L.A., www.actorsendowmentgroup.weebly.com, and currently serves as Creative Director for Artistic Drapes, www.artisticdrapes.weebly.com: a website that promotes sharing fine art, serving as an advocate for local charities and nonprofits affiliated with the arts. Draper holds a BA (cum laude) in Theater from UMASS-Amherst.

Due to the Adult Themes and Language involved in the Plays, we recommend that ONLY patrons over the age of sixteen (16) attend. However, if you feel that your younger child is mature enough to enjoy the plays please feel free to purchase them a 'Student' ticket, but please NO very young children or infants. NO ONE under the age of eight (8) will be admitted to the Performances under ANY circumstances.

Please note that the Management reserves the right to remove any patron who disturbs the performances. Any person who is removed for a disturbance forfeits the right to a refund of their ticket price.
