At what age did you first start writing? Or when did you know comics were for you?
in first grade i wrote a“book” called mr. turkey and mr. gobble. it was about two turkeys becoming pals right before thanksgiving when one of them (gobble i think) got killed.

My path was windy like the JOIN OR DIE snake. Your question’s a little tricky – I didn’t get paid to write comics for a long time, even after they were being published. The first paying work I had was at Marvel on PUNISHER WAR JOURNAL, but by that point I had a shorts, graphic novels, and CASANOVA out in the world.
