New Year

Happy New Year to all at Goodreads. I'm still learning my way around the site but I love what I'm seeing so far. There are so many talented writers involved. I look forward to adding short stories and other work to my page. I welcome all criticisms, be they positive or negative. This site offers some amazing opportunities for writers in today's world. I'm glad I stumbled upon it. I hope to hear from other writers on the site. Hopefully, this new year will see me finish my second novel. If not, well, I'll keep pushing on until I do finish it.

I just want to wish everybody a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I hope 2013 turns out to be a phenomenal year for all in the Goodreads community. Here's to great books still to be written and still to be read.

Glad To Be Here!

I just want to say hello to everybody at Goodreads. I am thrilled to have this opportunity to speak on and read about the written word. I love reading and writing. I've written a novel called Jazz Baby. I hope others will give it a read and offer comment on it. It's available at Amazon, B&N, and my home site Fresh Ink Group. It seems the easy part in all of this was the writing of my book. Selling it, well, that's the part I'm learning. But having a site like Goodreads certainly helps make this much simpler. I'd love to get more feedback on it, though. Even negative feedback can be helpful--especially as I'm writing my second novel at this time.
