Section 28:36-39 (corresponding to Luke 12:16-19)
Then Jesus to them this parable told:"There once was a man, rich in lands and gold,And his fields produced abundantly,With far more grain than he would ever need.
The man asked himself, 'Now what should I do?I haven't room for this surfeit of food.I'll tear down my barns, for they're much too small,And build bigger ones that can hold it all.
And then, after all my grain is stored up,I'll take my leisure, I'll drink and I'll sup;I'll tell myself that I can rest, relax,For such a store of wealth is sure to last!'

A Prayer from Charles Spurgeon
O Lord Jesus, we would bow at Thy feet, conscious of our utter inability to do anything without Thee, and in every favor which we are privileged to receive, we would adore Thy blessed name and acknowledge Thine unexhausted love. Amen.

Though troubles assail us and dangers affright,Though friends should all fail us and foes all unite,Yet one thing secures us, whatever betide,The promise assures us, "The Lord will provide."No strength of our own and no goodness we claim;Yet, since we have known of the Savior's great name,In this our strong tower for safety we hide:The Lord is our power, the Lord will provide.- from a hymn by John Newton
