Poldark and A Cornish Ransom

Two reasons to be doing a happy dance this Monday.  Firstly, I’m still living the excitement of last night’s Poldark. The second episode of the new series of the excellent Cornish drama did not disappoint. Here’s a link to check out – and another! Being a huge fan of that first iconic BBC series it was difficult to accept Aidan Turner and Eleanor Tomlinson in the Ross and Demelza roles that Robin Ellis and Angharad Rees brought to life so ... Poldark – Counting The Sleeps Until It’s Back!

OK. I hold my hands up. This is an unashamed plug for the return of a brilliant BBC series that just keeps getting better. And this is a picture of the crew and some of the cast who make it so. The first scene opens as a man swims across the bay and emerges from the sea, water droplets glistening on his bare muscular torso. Yes, It’s Aiden! …And he still hasn’t found his shirt. Never mind, I’m sure it ... Read More

It was a difficult birth, but it’s here now  *A Cornish Suspicion* I do hope you like it … ******* Antiques auctions were a complete mystery to Loveday, but her boss, magazine proprietor, Merrick Tremayne, really wanted the 16th century bible box. There’s Been A Murder!

I am so excited to be sharing the new covers for my Loveday cozy mysteries series. I’d love to know what you think of them. Crime fiction is rapidly becoming the most popular genre for readers, and cozy mysteries have enjoyed a huge share of that. Readers can connect with all the twists and turns of an intriguing plot in a story of murder and deceit – without the blood and gore. They are fast moving, exciting stories, packed with ... Read More

Colour Your Stress Away

Stress…stress…stress! We all suffer from it, and while we’re worrying about the things we should be doing, and fretting because we never seem able to get round to it everything – the blood pressure keeps climbing. Well stop! I’ve found the answer. At least it’s working for me, and it isn’t meditation or practising mindfulness. The activity that helps to lock my stress away in its box is colouring. Adult colouring books. I love them. The shelves in the bookshops ... Read More
