Six Senses Laamu - how to relax
Every moment at Six Senses Laamu is a pure relaxation bliss. From travelling the ocean on a pink flamingo, through snorkelling, diving, discovering the world of wonders full of colorful fish, friendly sea turtles, elegant stingrays and mini sharks (that do not bite).
My favorite activity - crossing the ocean on a unicorn.
The Spa at Six Senses Laamu, with beautiful view, fresh flower smell and their bespoke Ayurvedic treatments. There are also yoga classes including aerial yoga, meditation classes, a range of facial and traditional massage therapies.
Zen is a modern Japanese fusion restaurant.
There is an ice-cream and chocolate studio, offering over 40 complimentary ice-cream flavors all day long.
Hammock on the ocean !
My Les Georgettes by Altesse bracelets survived the salty water and swimming experiment. I took like a box of them filled with all leather options to mix and match for all my outfits.
Chill Bar is for.. chilling on the over water hammocks. Perfect place to read, watch sunset and have a drink.
On the way to the breakfast we spotted a beautiful stingray.
There is also a volleyball field on a pristine white sand beach.
And of course an ice-cream situation.
SIX SENSES Laamu & vegan food
For all the vegans & vegetarians who love sustainable life AND luxury - Six Senses Laamu is a great place to be.
There is a countless selection of fruits, in all shapes and colors! But also granolas, salads, all sort of middle eastern dishes, fresh juices and so much more - yes vegan eggs Benedict made out of tofu and vegan sauce. And it is all organic too.
For everyone else - probably one of the best hotel breakfast I have ever tried, and I have sampled quite a few across various continents.

Vegan eggs Benedict ! They are worth taking a trip to Maldives.
There are countless breakfast options, with a la carte selection for all who find countless "food picking” trips tiring.
Everything comes in many options - here a humble mini selection of honey, same for olive oil, balsamic vinegar, truffles etc One could probably stay two weeks at Six Senses Maldives and have yet many dining options to discover for breakfast. There are Asian, European and Maldivian dishes to try, a selection of cheeses that even in France would be considered as remarquable, countless tea and coffee options, and all this with the most amazing view, which turns any breakfast into a very festive brunch.
Many of the ingredients are island grown and come from these beautiful gardens.

After the breakfast - the best way to burn the calories is a Six Senses sports center offering variety of options, for kayaking, diving, surfing and all other possible island sport activities.
Or you can just have a walk by the beach, which is beautiful regardless the weather!
