Cypress Grace Updates
After feedback from my first ARC copies, I went back and did some editing and story adjustments. Nothing major just more polished to be concise like the Alex story arc in chapter one. That manuscript and edits have been pushed out to the kindle and print versions.
Some other feedback I have received is I tend to be lyrical when starting out chapters. I use this to create the imagery or a scene continuation. I'm trying a new approach in my upcoming novel as some say it slows down the slow burn romance to a halt at times,
Hope you have a wonderful day! Just one more chapter!

The Journey
What a journey its been, started my first book in 2016 while trying to quantify my PTSD and Relationship and love.
A therapist at the VA said I should start writing as it might help. Well that's what I did. I just kept writing small bits here and there.
Fast forward to 2025, Cypress Grace was named and I pushed it out for the masses. I didn't have the money to hire big fancy editors, marketing teams or designers.
I had to learn how to do adobe and create graphics, and that ahs evolved tremendously over the last few weeks. Thankful for kind people who gave pointers and sent me to resources to learn. Now after the third cover design it hits all the marks of the story inside.
The manuscript has already been updated and edited 4 times in the last week alone. I think because the story is personal to me, I overlooked the common errors of using " vs '.
Heck I even accidently messed up in KDP trying to figure out the table of contents and headings. But some gracious family pointed it out after they got the first prints.
I have learned this is an exhausting but rewarding experience as many of the feedback is the story was touching.
If anything I think I have achieved what I originally set out to do with Cypress Grace. My goal was to convey my journey in a way that I could quantify in a world for my making.
Never give up, your anchor can be your biggest partner in healing and love.
