Sue Lyndon gets Naughty! The Girl, The Doctor and the Texas Ranger

I am so excited to have the very naughty Sue Lyndon here on my blog today talking about her new menage spanking romance The Girl, The Doctor and the Texas Ranger.  All you need do is read the publisher's warning to know Sue delivers what she does best:  delicious erotic naughtiness.

Here it is: Publisher’s Note: The Girl, the Doctor, and the Texas Ranger is an erotic romance novel that includes spankings, anal play, exhibitionism, sexual scenes including threesomes, age play, medical play, and more.
I'm saying "Oh yeah!!"

Here's Sue to take it away...

************

Most of us have done questionable things in our past, things we might later come to regret, even if it later turns out those mistakes helped us grow. In my new release, The Girl, the Doctor, and the Texas Ranger, my heroine Emily, has been in trouble with the law a few times and has earned a reputation as a hooligan in her small Texas hometown. In the following scene, Emily is trying to thank Daniel, a doctor she just met, for helping her after she gets in a car accident, but one thought leads to another and she takes an unwelcome trip down memory lane.

Once they reached the top of the steps, Emily squeezed Daniel’s hand, drawing his gaze to hers. “I can’t thank you enough for helping me. You don’t even know me.” He gave her a lopsided smile, and she fell hopelessly in love. Though she knew little about him, she wanted his approval and to remain in his good graces. To be his friend and possibly more. Except that was silly. He was at least fifteen years older than her and a doctor. Men like that didn’t end up with twenty-year-old delinquents who happened to be on the run from the cops. Sadness filled her as her wandering thoughts once again reminded her of why she was alone. She chided herself for her silly daydreaming. Her last boyfriend had broken up with her after his family pressured him, proclaiming that there was no future with a girl like her. A girl like her. She’d wanted to change and make herself better. To move past the stigmas that followed her. Growing up dirt poor, she was teased constantly as a child and had a hard time making friends. Her mother had been oblivious to it all and hadn’t paid her much attention. So Emily had found acceptance in the wrong crowd. The kind of crowd that spray painted the sides of buildings for fun. The kind of crowd that drank heavily and got up to all sorts of other mischief. When her boyfriend had broken up with her, they’d encouraged her to seek revenge by spray painting JOHN HAS A SMALL DICK on the hood of his brand new red convertible. That had been the last time she was arrested, slightly over a year ago. She swallowed the lump in her throat that always accompanied her bad memories and focused on the man holding her hand. “In here,” Daniel said, opening a door and flicking on a light. “We always keep a guest room ready just in case.” “Just in case a weird girl crashes outside your house in the middle of the night?” She surveyed the room, decorated much the same as the rest of the house, and eyed the bed appreciatively. A huge blue and green floral quilt covered the bed, and several matching decorative pillows were arranged just so. It looked like heaven. “Yes,” Daniel said, “in case a weird girl crashes outside my house.” He faced her and toyed with a strand of her hair. Her belly flip-flopped and her heart picked up. “Just kidding, Emily. You’re not a weird girl. You strike me as a nice little girl who just needs a little help and maybe some guidance in her life.” Her mouth went dry. “G-guidance?” “Rules. Boundaries. Consequences. And of course, plenty of love.” Emily didn’t know how to respond. She felt like a book Daniel had flipped open to read, word for word. She wanted all of those things—but most of all love. She’d given up trying and didn’t think any man would be able to see past her shameful history. Some days it seemed she had nothing but regrets.

The Girl, the Doctor, and the Texas Ranger blurb:

After witnessing a car crash outside his ranch house, Dr. Daniel Anderson rushes to help the girl behind the wheel. He carries her inside and tends to her wounds, all the while wondering what brought her out this far in the middle of the night. The young woman soon breaks down and confesses that her name is Emily and she's on the run from the police after fighting back against a vindictive cop who tried to take advantage of her. Daniel and his brother Trevor, a Texas Ranger, feel protective of Emily and offer to keep her safe and help clear her name. They agree to let her stay on the ranch, and in return she promises to help out with chores and obey their rules. The prospect of real consequences if she misbehaves is exciting to Emily, and when she shyly approaches Daniel with this confession, he decides to give her a taste of his discipline. He takes her over his knee and spanks her bare bottom, and the love she feels as he cradles her in his arms afterwards is unlike anything she's ever experienced. She quickly discovers that Trevor is almost as strict as his older brother, and just as loving. Though she is twenty-years old, Emily becomes their sweet little girl. Daniel and Trevor delight in buying her cute frilly dresses, taking care of all her needs, and disciplining her when she's been naughty. She thrives under their attentions and falls hopelessly in love with both brothers. It isn't long before they claim her, first each on his own and then both at once. Trevor is confident he'll have her name cleared in no time, but once he does, will Emily have to leave the men who've changed her life and stolen her heart, or can she stay their little girl forever?

Publisher’s Note: The Girl, the Doctor, and the Texas Ranger is an erotic romance novel that includes spankings, anal play, exhibitionism, sexual scenes including threesomes, age play, medical play, and more. If such material offends you, please don’t buy this book.

"I daresay you enjoyed it" #SatSpanks - Held for Ransom (medieval spanking story)

$3.99I'm so thrilled my new medieval Held for Ransom is now available for sale.  It does not have as much spanking as some of my books, but it makes up for it in heart.
After the king, Princess Ariana's twin <i>brother, captures Sir Gorran for abducting the princess, he punishes him by placing him as her slave at Avalon. Still, nothing stops Gorran when he thinks the lady requires discipline.  Here's what happens after he spanks and pleasures her:
“Never handle me again,” she commanded.
He stopped walking and turned her to face him, cupping her chin. “If you put yourself in danger, you will find yourself over my knee again, I promise you.”
She blinked at him, cursing the warmth she felt in her face. She attempted to muster anger, but none came. Considering the depth of feeling he had shown for her, his threat seemed a further expression of affection.
“Barring that, I shall obey.”
“And the other?” She could not bring herself to say it, nor was she sure he understood her until one corner of his mouth lifted slightly.
“I daresay you enjoyed it.”

Held for Ransom
When Sir Gorran’s people disappear after a raid on a Saxon settlement, he kidnaps Princess Ariana, a priestess of Avalon, and demands their return. Though he knew he risked Ariana’s curse as well as a lifetime hiding from the king’s sword, he does not realize his greatest risk in holding the lovely princess for ransom is to his heart.

The intimacy shared with her kidnapper leaves Ariana wounded by the experience and his reappearance at the annual tournament only deepens her pain. When her brother foists him on her as a guardian and slave she must come to terms with her feelings for the dominant warrior. Will she send him away to his death, or will she realize her pain is only caused by living without him?

TTWD for life? Spanking Round Table Discussion #SpankingRound

Today's Spanking Romance Review's spanking round table discussion is hosted by Patricia Green who presented the topic of how or whether spanking may continue as we age.I saw Es May also addressed this topic this week, when a friend of hers suggested TTWD might be a "phase" in their marriage.
It did take me 18 years to ask for this in my marriage, so I guess so far it's been a short phase in the long scope of our relationship. However, considering I have been a spanko for my entire life, it's hard to imagine it's a phase I will ever grow out of!
I do acknowledge that the desire to be spanked, whether it's the slap and tickle variety or the punitive variety, is a desire that stems from the sexual part of the brain. It's a fetish.  So maybe when I reach an age where my hormones no longer create the urge, I would lose my interest.  Maybe I'll never reach that age. :)I remember reading on Finding Sara, that after her surgery when her hormones were dropped, she had absolutely no interest in spanking or domestic discipline.
I also remember my dad telling me when he'd reached the age where he no longer felt "girl crazy". (He was a bit of a playboy).  He said it came as somewhat of a relief to not want to chase women around.
I wonder if it would come as a relief to not think about spanking so much?
I doubt it!  What else would I write about??

RELEASE DAY! Held for Ransom - Medieval spanking romance

Held for Ransom by Renee Rose

A passionate romance in which divine femininity matches with masculine power

I have an excerpt for you today from Held for Ransom, my new pre-Arthurian spanking romance. Crow, a half-Saxon mercenary knight has kidnapped Princess Ariana, a priestess of Avalon. When she attempts to escape by nearly stabbing his eye out with an eating knife, he whips her. Here's what happens afterward:

*******

The sound of a sniff stilled him. He turned to look at her, huddled on her side, her eyes squeezed closed, tears running down the bridge of her nose.

Curses.

He had not had the heart to whip her till she broke, but now, when it was all through, she cried. The sound of it pained him more than the deep gash on his face. He drew near and crouched beside her, reaching his hand for her shoulder, but stopping before he touched her. He had a feeling she knew of his presence and did not relish it. He doubted she would accept comfort from him.

A silent sob wracked her body. He had to try. He laid his hand over her small shoulder.

She opened her large green eyes. “Crow,” she croaked.

He was surprised to hear his nickname on her lips and he responded by scooping her into his arms, settling himself on the pallet, with his back against the wall and the princess curled in his lap. It was a breach of etiquette, but then so was whipping her.

He could think of no words, so he said nothing, just rubbed her back with one hand as he held the cloth to his face.

“Crow,” she repeated, sounding sorrowful.

“Peace, princess. Peace,” he said.

He breathed in the smell of her hair, relished the softness of her small body against his. In that moment, they were not princess and knight, nor priestess and initiate, not even prisoner and guard. They were simply a man and woman who had both hurt each other and were sorry for it.

Writing Process Blog Hop

Thanks to Liv Honeywell for inviting me to this blog hop, where authors answer questions about their writing process.1. What am I working on?I am currently working on another book in my Regency Series.  This one is a cat and mouse spy story that takes place at the Westerfield estate.  Here's what happens when our spy interrogates the heroine:

“I found the papers, Miss Hunt.”
She recognized the menacing voice. It belonged to Lord Auburn--or whatever his real name was--and the difference in it sent chills down her spine.
“Who are you going to sell them to? Or did you buy them?” He sounded angry. He did not release the tight grasp around her waist, but he eased his hand from her mouth for her answer.
“I do not know what you mean!”
“Do not lie to me!” he shouted, giving her a shake. He dragged her forward, pushing her belly down over an old saddle lying on a crate. The gate house appeared to be used as overflow for stable equipment, the smell of old leather and hay filling her nostrils. Pulling her wrists behind her, he tied them with a cord.
“What are you doing?” she cried in alarm.
“Silence!” he snapped and she heard the sound of something swishing through the air a second before a line of fire across her backside made her scream. She looked over her shoulder to see Auburn flexing a riding crop between two hands. Panicking, she struggled to stand up, but he pushed her torso back down, leaning his hand on her low back.
“Your mouse act was very good. You nearly had me fooled,” he said and further terrified her by pulling up her skirts. He yanked her drawers open at the split, baring her bottom to his view.

2. How does my work differ from others of its genre?

I think we all have a unique voice, no matter what we write about. I am writing about my fantasies and situations that capture my fancy.  3. Why do I write what I do?I write a lot of historical spanking romance, because I love the tension created by societal norms that put men in charge of women. I have a harder time writing contemporary spanking fiction, because I like to have some non-consensuality in spanking (I think it's hotter) but it's hard for me to like a hero who thinks he has any right to lay a hand on a woman in modern day times.  4. How does my writing process work? Most of my scenes come to me in the early hour between sleep and waking. I wait until I have imagined the major scenes in a book before I start writing it.  Once I know them, I try to figure out what each character's arc is, so I can have that in mind as I write, which helps keep tension in the story. I usually write just one book at a time (though I may be editing another). In November I wrote three books at once and found it a bit crazy. So next week, February 24th, you can find out about three lovely friends of mine, Celeste Jones, Katherine Deane and Sue LyndonHere are their bios:Celeste Jones writes romantic spanking stories that usually include a bit (or more) of humor. She likes to think of them as a cross between Chick Lit and Domestic Discipline.
Katherine Deane  loves to escape reality through reading or writing. She loves fantasy, sci fi, adventures, and spanking romance. She will be publishing her first spanking romance with Stormy Night Publications next month.

Sue Lyndon is a multi-published author of erotic BDSM romance and spanking romances. She enjoys a good book in any genre, loves Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica, and runs on coffee and chocolate.

"Unmet Desires" (Milestones spanking story) #SatSpanks

Hopefully you know by now that Milestones , the Domestic Discipline anthology follow up to Coming to Terms is out and available for sale!

We chose the theme "milestones" for our stories, and the one I chose is very close to my heart.
$4.99 on AmazonI wanted to be a mother from the time I was a small child. I was the sort of girl who mothered all the younger kids. When I was a teen, the neighborhood kids would knock on my door when someone skinned a knee because I would give them the good old-fashioned mama treatment with Bactine and a Bandaid. But, like many in my generation, I thought I ought to wait until I'd established my career to have babies. I started trying at age thirty.  I obsessed like crazy. Weeks turned into months turned into years and included the heartbreak of miscarriage.

For Claire and Luis, my newly-wed couple from Coming to Terms, I chose the milestone of pregnancy, drawing on the stress and struggle I experienced in the process of trying to conceive. Cara commented last week that my story has a melancholy to it, but even with the deep and tender moments, there are a ton of hot spankings, and I promise you, I would never leave you without the very best Happily Ever After.

Here's what happens not long after yesterday's excerpt, in which Claire told Luis to man up and do something about her slacking on rules.

******

“What else are you sorry for, Claire?” His deep voice was silky and she thought she recognized the hint of dominant seduction in it. She was relieved--he wasn’t angry. Or at least not too angry. “I’ve been horrible. I’ve snapped and snarled. And I haven’t been a good wife.” Her eyes filled with tears as the oppressive weight on her chest returned in full force. Luis gave stern shake of his head. “Enough,” he said and her eyes widened, not sure what he’d had enough of. “Come here,” he said, reaching for her. She climbed into his lap, curling into him, attaching herself like a burr to a sock.
“You cannot be a good wife if you’re not good to yourself, mi amor. You blame yourself over not getting pregnant and it’s tearing you apart.”

Release Day!! Milestones Domestic Discipline Anthology - Comment to win!

$4.99 on AmazonToday is the day!   Milestones , a domestic discipline anthology featuring stories by Alta Hensley, Cara Bristol, Sue Lyndon, Celeste Jones, Anastasia Vitsky, Jade Cary and myself, is now available for sale!  In celebration, we are giving away a free copy of Coming to Terms every day for the next week!  Each day one of the authors will highlight an excerpt from their story an a winner will be randomly selected from the commenters.

I'm kicking the blog tour off with my story "Unmet Desires".  It features Claire and Luis, the same couple from Coming to Terms. They have been trying to get pregnant without any results, causing stress and frustration. Here's one of the scenes that prompt Luis to whisk her away for a weekend boot camp to reconnect:

“Claire...don’t you think it might be the stress about trying to get pregnant that could actually be preventing it?”Her face contorted. “Yes!” she hissed, throwing her spoon into the sink with a clatter. “It’s my stress. It’s that I don’t have enough body fat. It’s that I’m too old. It’s that I was on the pill for twelve years. It is certainly all my fault!”Or it could be that I’m too old. He was twelve years older than his new wife, which meant he could be shooting blanks. He wanted to draw her into his arms, but she was far too prickly to accept it. “Claire,” he said in his most reasonable tone. “You’re totally off-balance. I can tell just by the state you left the kitchen--”“Well, why don’t you man up and do something about it?” she cut in. He recoiled. “Did you really just say that to me?” he hissed. Her eyes were wide as if she’d shocked herself, and remorse was plain in her expression, but no apology came forth. “Go to the bedroom and prepare yourself,” he said in a soft, dangerous voice. She swallowed, the color draining from her face, but still, she did not say she was sorry. “Now, Claire.”“Yes, sir,” she muttered and set her cereal bowl in the sink, giving him a nervous backward glance as she departed. He met it with one raised eyebrow.Taking a deep breath, he calmed his heart rate, though truly he was more shocked than angered. Apparently, Claire had been begging for a spanking all along, when what he thought she needed was a dose of compassion. He poured himself a glass of water and sipped it, giving her time to stew in anticipation. Domestic discipline was much harder than he’d imagined. When she’d asked him for this arrangement, he’d jumped at the chance, having always been into spanking but never before having a willing partner. And it had been easy and fun at first--defining rules, punishing when they were broken. But it was always with the light-hearted knowledge that it was all erotic fodder. He loved watching Claire’s eyes dilate when he turned dom on her, or seeing the evidence of her arousal drip down her leg when he had her stand in the corner with her panties down. But this...this was different. This was a territory where he could easily make the kind of mistake that caused resentment. Do you punish your wife who is depressed because she can’t get pregnant? His rationale had been an emphatic no. And yet, she just dared him to. It made sense, he supposed. Maybe she needed the release. Maybe she needed someone to take charge. She was a woman trying to control too much in her life.

Calling me on the Gross - the benefit of beta readers

Thank God for beta readers.  I mean, truly. I would be sunk without them.  I am fortunate enough to have some amazing friends who give me beta reads.  Among my colleagues, I am lucky enough to have had beta reads from Celeste Jones, Anastasia VitskyNatasha Knight, Trent Evans, Emily Tilton, and Katherine Deane.

I found myself chuckling this week because both Celeste and Katherine consistently call me out on being gross. Usually related to bottom play. :)

It's not that I don't think of these things!  I really do!  I mean I would never have my characters switch from anal to vaginal (unhygienic!). But sometimes, I can't quite figure out how to work a quick wash up in, especially in the historical setting where bathrooms aren't around every corner.

Both Katherine and Celeste asked that Jean-Claude from Humbled wash his finger after a little foray into anal penetration.  Okay, okay!  I added a wash basin in their cabin.  Not sure if those really existed, but hey, I aim to please.

Celeste also informed me that talking about menstruation in "Unmet Desires," my story in Milestones (released on V-Day!) is gross.  Unfortunately, I just felt I couldn't get around it.  Claire is trying to get pregnant, so her menstrual cycle is pretty relevant.  And then if you mention it starting, you have to mention when it's over, etc etc.  You get my drift?  I can't have them having sex a few days later and have people wondering if she's still bleeding, right?

In a new fairy tale piece that's in the works with Katherine Deane and Casey McKay, Katherine couldn't allow my hero to pull the butt plug out and toss it on the hotel room floor.  She implored me to think of the lodge staff who would have to pick that thing up-- EW!  I guess I thought the reader could fill in the details that he picked it up and washed it later, but I have learned that if one beta reader says something, guaranteed a reviewer will say the same darn thing!  So, I obliged, adding that my amazing hero not only can use a butt plug on his adorable girlfriend, but he's the kinda man who cleans up afterward, too. :)

The last one, I lament, I could do nothing about.  It's in Held for Ransom, my new medieval (coming out Feb. 20th!).  They are way out in a barn.  No sink, no stream, no water bottle. Nothing.  And yes, he uses his finger for anal penetration.  I'm sorry!!  I just couldn't figure out how to clean it up.  Hopefully you'll forgive me this one time...
