Spanked during her Piano Lesson (Saturday Spankings)
Another snippet from The Devil of Whiskey Row, my western brothel story. Jake, the owner of Daddy Digg's Saloon & Gambling Hall, is an excellent pianist, providing entertainment for his customers and accompaniment for the lively can-can dance his French whores perform. Cora, the new prostitute refugee is drawn to his music...and to him. Here's what happens during their first piano lesson:
It was her lullaby. He'd written in a simple part for the bass as well. She tried to add the bass but her brain couldn't hold focus on both hands at once, and the discordant sounds became so disjointed she slammed both hands down on the keys, making a loud, frustrated bleat.
In a flash, she was over Jake's hard thighs, facing the wooden planks of the saloon floor as he delivered several hard swats to her bottom. He pulled her back upright and plopped her back on her stool.
She sat looking straight forward, pressing her lips together to smother a laugh. Catching a smile on the corner of Daddy Digg's mouth, she let the giggle erupt and he chuckled, too.
“Are you going to do that every time?”

New Release! The Devil of Whiskey Row
Forced by miserable circumstance to work in a gold rush brothel, Cora Underhill hates what her life has become. When a fire sweeps through her workplace, she welcomes death as an end to it all. But then Jake Diggory crashes through her window for an unwelcome rescue, offering her shelter and a paid position at his establishment. She accepts, in spite of Jake’s fearsome reputation as ‘The Devil Diggory’, and soon sees another side to Jake–the firm but caring side of him which led his girls to name him ‘Daddy Diggs’.
Life at Daddy Diggs’ is an entirely new experience for Cora. Jake has strict rules which he backs up with over the knee discipline, but he will not tolerate any mistreatment of his girls and he can go from playing beautiful music on a piano to defending them with his bare fists. The strangest thing of all, however, is the fact that every girl at Daddy Diggs’ swears that Jake has never slept with her, or with any other woman for that matter, since his fiancée’s death back in Ireland fifteen years ago.
Cora attempts to emulate the other prostitutes at Daddy Diggs’, who enjoy making money, holding power over men and even the act of sex, but she still finds no pleasure in the company of men–until the day she inadvertently arouses the passion of The Devil Diggory. His fierce lovemaking thaws some frozen part of her, but it seems Jake is only attracted to her because she resembles his dead fiancée. Confused by his new feelings for Cora and guilt over his broken vow of celibacy, Jake pushes Cora away. Can he come to terms with his past and claim Cora for his own, or will his grief keep them apart forever?
Publisher’s Note: The Devil of Whiskey Row is an erotic romance novel that includes both consensual and non-consensual spankings, anal play, exhibitionism, graphic sexual scenes, and more. If such material offends you, please don’t buy this book.

shut it, Olive! saturday spankings
I'm still begging the favor of your vote for Pleasing the Colonel for erotic historical over at the Romance Reviews. If you haven't had a chance, would you mind helping out a friend?
I'm excited to announce that The Devil of Whiskey Row hit Amazon's top 100 for Western Romance this week. Stormy Night Publications, my fabulous publisher, even made me a special crown to wear-- check it out.
Today's excerpt features the secondary character Olive, who plays foil to our heroine, Cora. Sexually empowered, she is interested in stepping into the role of "Madame" and running her own spanking themed brothel. In this scene, she's picked up on the sexual tension between the hero Jake and Cora.
“She's settling in nicely, isn't she?” Olive's chipper voice pulled him out of his reverie. She was leaning on his piano, her lifted breasts spilling out of her corset.
He scowled and didn't answer.
“Something going on between you two?”
“No,” he growled.
“Really?”
“Shut it, Olive.”
She smiled a slow, knowing smile. “That's what I thought,” she said smugly, drifting away.
