In This Lifetime, Morgan's Journey, is LIve on Amazon

Former Marine, Morgan Whittaker is but a shadow of the man he once was. Plagued by personal tragedy, his marriage in shambles; it’s no shock to him when he’s wounded while serving his last tour of duty. The only surprise is that he’s alive at all. Now he just wants to be left alone.
Despite knowing their marriage is over, Cara Whittaker finds it painful and annoying to see what her husband has become. As a last resort at helping him, along with increasing her status at the top secret government agency she works for, she offers him a once in a lifetime chance to travel back in time.
What he finds there is more than he ever dreamed. A new life, a family and love in the form of a spunky little saloon keeper in desperate need of discipline. Can he take the risk of remaining in 1880? He’s been warned not to tamper with the fragile fabric of the future, but he knows danger is coming. Can he stop it and change his destiny or will he run out of time?
Will he once again follow the rules or will he throw caution to the wind and step up to be the man he’s meant to be?

Just A Little Peek Inside

“I’ll behave….” She buried her face into the blanket. Her mind raced; what else could she have possibly done wrong and how many more times was he going to slap her bottom?
Her cheeks were on fire and the bright red glow from them almost convinced Mac that she would certainly be more careful in the future.
He brought his hand down twice more. She wiggled and squirmed, cried and moaned, and the more she moved the harder the weight on the gold chain swung pulling on her nipples. That too was now beginning to hurt but she was intrigued by how turned on she was.
“And that was for paddling the canoe well out into deep water to reach a yacht which, as far as you knew, offered you no safety at all; a yacht with someone aboard who could have raped and killed you, throwing your body overboard, to be washed ashore.”
“Ahh, yes! You’re right, I was reckless and I’ll never do it again. Mac, my nipples are screaming for your mouth.”
In all his ways Mac was basic, even when it came to sex. He was a standard missionary position kind of guy with an occasional variation. That would have to change; he wanted a wife and a family—a second chance.
Annie Campbell was a busy event planner at a five star hotel in the city. Fiercely independent, she wouldn't consider herself sexually savvy; she certainly was open to new experiences. It had been six lonely years since her husband died. It was time to move on and setting her fears aside, she joined an Internet dating site.
After reading what she considered to be a damn near perfect profile, she sent Mac a brief note and waited. He had no idea just how independent she was. She had no idea how over-protective he was—but they were about to find out.
The Key to Annie's Heart is now available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. Book Two of The Fall River Ranch Series, MacDermot's Bride, is scheduled to be released in March 2015.

The Key to Annie's Heart, Two Authors, One Dream
“I like the red glow that’s beginning to cover your cheeks,” Mac remarked, “and STOP isn’t the safe word.”
Keriann McKenna and I have always been a team, partners in crime so to speak. When I got married it was on a shoestring budget, a very thin shoestring. It was Keriann who took me out dumpster diving the night before the wedding. We hit every florist in town and ended up with some beautiful bouquets. She even provided the music, singing The Wedding Song and my favorite John Denver hit as she played her guitar. Keriann is very multi-talented.
She’s also more well-traveled than I am, as she’s lived all over the U.S. and out of it. I’ve always considered her a trail blazer and far gutsier than me. Once she drove a van from Seattle to New York for a visit with six children including a newborn, all on her own. That would terrify me, but for Keriann it was no big deal. As a writer I think she’s braver than I am, willing to color outside the lines. She brings a ‘sophistication’ to these novels that I don’t have and I add the ‘down home’.
The Key to Annie's Heart is the first book in The Fall River Series. This book will be followed by, MacDermot's Bride in March 2015 and The MacDermots of Scotland, sometime this summer.
Blurb:
To live a rancher's life in the Rocky Mountains had always been Mac's dream. He loved his place on Fall River. He was a success by anyone's measure, except his own. He failed to keep his wife content to be at home, although "home" was a dream put to architectural drawings. Too many nights she preferred to stay in town with friends rather than make the trip up the mountain. She liked to party, and winding mountain roads coupled with too much to drink ended her life. Could Mac ever forgive himself for his wife’s death?
In all his ways Mac was basic, even when it came to sex. He was a standard missionary position kind of guy with an occasional variation. That would have to change; he wanted a wife and a family—a second chance.

Sue Lyndon Stops By, Check It Out!

Sue:
My latest release is Her Old-Fashioned Doctor, a medical play spanking romance novella that also appears in the What the Doctor Ordered boxed set.
Her Old-Fashioned Doctor portrays a young socialite struggling with her fiancé’s betrayal. She runs into the very kind but strict Dr. John Holden while she’s on a path to self-discovery and she immediately falls for him. But she’s got to figure out if it’s just a rebound fling or if they can have a more meaningful relationship.
Now that this book is out, what's next on your agenda?
Sue: I’m currently writing a medieval spanking romance that will be in a boxed set with four other authors who I very much adore. I’m really excited about it.
Oh, now we have something else to look forward too. Thanks for visiting my blog today and good luck with your new set.
I read this book, and I loved it. I thought it was hot, but there were parts that made smile and touched my heart as well. Here's the blurb and an excerpt:
After she catches her fiancé cheating on her, Melissa packs a suitcase and sets out on a road trip to give herself some time to recover. But things take an unexpected turn when she rear-ends Dr. John Holden’s truck in a tiny rural town and he responds by inviting her for an impromptu dinner date.
The handsome medic’s charm and take-charge manner—not to mention his willingness to spank her bare bottom if he feels it necessary—all combine to set Melissa’s heart beating faster than it has in a long time. Almost before she knows it, Melissa finds herself falling deeply in love with he old-fashioned doctor, even though she’s only known him for a couple of days. But is her rapidly growing crush on John merely a rebound fling, or can his hold on her heart last forever?
Publisher’s Note: Her Old-Fashioned Doctor is an erotic romance novel that includes spankings, sexual scenes, medical play, anal play, elements of BDSM, and more. If such material offends you, please don’t buy this book. This book is also available as part of a five-book collection entitled What the Doctor Ordered.
Excerpt:
“I can tell you’ve been crying, darlin’. Are you in some kind of trouble?”
She shook her head. “No. Nothing like that.” She stared into his eyes, wondering if she could trust him, wondering if it mattered if she spilled her troubles at his feet, just to get them off her chest. Maybe then some of the worry darkening her mood would lift. “Promise you won’t judge me?”
“I promise.”
She sighed. What the hell. “I was engaged to be married in about six months. Two nights ago I caught my husband-to-be with three prostitutes. We’ve been engaged for years, since shortly after high school, and the plan was that we’d always get married and have a big fancy wedding after I finished college. We’d just bought a house together, and I caught him in our bedroom with all three of those girls. So I packed a suitcase, hit him in the balls, and left.”
“You kicked him in the balls?”
“He pissed me off, and he was standing in my way. Technically I didn’t kick him in the balls, I swung my suitcase into his crotch. Knocked him on the floor too,” she said with pride as she recalled the pain twisting Steven’s face before she walked off.
“Remind me to never piss you off.”
Author bio: Sue Lyndon is a multi-published author of erotic BDSM romance and spanking romances. She enjoys a good book in any genre, loves Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica, and runs on coffee and chocolate.

The Key To Annie's Heart

Mac was a success by anyone's measure, except his own. He had failed to keep his wife content to be at home, even though at the time "home" was a dream put to architectural drawings. Too many nights she preferred to stay in town with friends rather than make the trip up the mountain to the trailer they occupied. She liked to party and winding mountain roads coupled with too much to drink had been the death of her.
To live a rancher's life in the Rocky Mountains had been Mac's dream for as long as he could remember. He was a rancher and a mountain man at heart. He could nix the suit required for consulting in Washington and spend his days in jeans and cowboy boots rescuing and training horses.
In all his ways he was basic, even when it came to sex. He was a standard missionary position kind of guy with an occasional variation. Perhaps that was the reason his wife spent so much time in town. He didn't think she cheated on him but if he was honest, he didn't know for sure.
His was determined to keep his next wife content, if he was lucky enough to find one. She would be in for a surprise. Promising he wouldn't fail again, he read and explored everything he could get his hands on to entice the right woman into his heart.
Since he rarely left his ranch, at the suggestion of Luke, the young man who managed the stables, Mac decided to try internet dating. It seemed safe enough; with his connections to Washington, he could find out anything about any woman before he met her.
Annie Campbell was a busy event planner at a five star hotel in the city. While she wouldn't consider herself sexually savvy, she certainly was open to new experiences. It had been six lonely years since her husband died. Always a people pleaser, she joined an Internet dating site just to get her friends off her back.
After reading what she considered to be a damn near perfect profile, she sent Mac a brief note and waited. Two weeks later, after he returned from a business trip, he was delighted to read her message and contacted her immediately. Chatting sessions, emails, and phone calls continued between them and finally a first date was arranged.
Could Mac pull it off? Could a country guy at heart woo a city gal and convince her his laid back way of life was better? Could he stop researching how to please a woman and put it into practice? Oh Yes! Yes he could!

The Trouble With Abby and Coming Soon

Whenever a new book comes out, especially part of a series, I'm always nervous. Will readers like it? What if they think it's not as good as the others in the series? They've spent their hard earned money on my work. Will they be disappointed? Ugh! It's always the same. I'm consumed with fear that somehow I will let them down.
In The Trouble With Abby my heroine is taking a giant leap of faith and opening her own shop after years of working for others. In one scene her fears come spilling out. Although they are some what over the top and unjustified, I totally understand where the emotion in this scene comes from, lol. I guess we are a bit of what we write. Thank God for level headed, strong men who can pull us back from the precipice.
She was quiet, subdued as she moved through the store, checking racks for price tags and fussing with displays. Several racks didn’t have the sizes arranged correctly and she straightened them.
Pulling a black lace nightgown from one rack, she held it up to her body.
“What do you think? Is this worth $3,000?” she asked.
“Maybe on you,” he answered with a grin, “but for the average customer, no, I don’t think so.”
“Me neither,” she sighed in disgust as she pulled large handfuls of hangers from the rack and carried the garments to the counter. “I must have been out of my mind when I priced these things.”
“It’s alright, babe. You were probably tired. Mistakes happen,” he said, leaning against the wall, watching her.
“I can’t afford these kinds of mistakes,” she snapped. “All it would take is for one customer to come in here and see prices like that and I could be ruined. My store would be a failure if word got around that I was way over-priced. I have to stay competitive if I’m going to make it.”
He watched her hands shaking as she snipped all the tags off.
“Abby, you need to take it easy. I know you’re stressed,” he continued, walking behind the counter and putting his big hands on her shoulders, massaging gently. “Relax.”
“Really? You think I should just relax when my whole future is riding on this? When I’ve sunk every dime of my money into this place and a huge amount of small business loans besides?” she said, spinning to glare at him. “I’ll be bankrupt if this place doesn’t turn a profit,” she shouted, pushing away for him. “I could end up homeless, out on the street,” she continued.
“Now you’re really on a roll,” Connor replied, trying to hide his grin. “Don’t you think you’re exaggerating, just a little?”
“No! And now some psycho is threatening the people I care about most. You’re supposed to be good at this stuff, covert operations and all that. Why don’t you go find this guy and just…shoot him or something? You’ve got a big gun,” she pointed out.
“Blood thirsty little thing aren’t you?” Connor said, smiling as he scooped her up into his arms and began walking toward the dressing rooms.
“What are you doing?” she screeched. “I don’t have time for a quickie!”
“We are going to have a little talk, you and I,” he informed her, pushing open the door of the largest room with the toe of his boot. Three of the walls were mirrored and a matched pair of floral loveseats provided comfortable seating. Putting her on her feet, he sat and spread his knees, pulling her between them.
“First of all, I can’t just go and shoot someone and I wouldn’t even if I could. Would I like to beat the piss out of him for what he’s done? You bet I would,” he growled. Abby was eye-level and he was sure she saw the truth of that in his eyes when she backed up a step. Snagging the waist of her jeans, he hauled her back.
“Second, I want your store to be a success, I really do, but no more talk about your life being over if it isn’t,” he ordered. “You do have a future, with me, and you damn well know it. I want you to stop acting like what we have, our relationship, means nothing. Do you hear me?” he said sternly, popping the snap at her waist and sliding her jeans down to mid-thigh. Gripping the cheeks of her ass, he gave them a little squeeze.
Thanks for checking out, The Trouble With Abby . Now I'd like to tell you about another series I've been working on. Author Keriann McKenna and I have teamed up for a three book series. The Fall River Ranch Series will have three novels, starting with the release of The Key to Annie's Heart later this month and followed shortly with MacDermot's Bride and The MacDermots of Scotland.

To live a rancher's life in the Rocky Mountains had been Mac's dream for as long as he could remember. He was a rancher and a mountain man at heart. He could nix the suit required for consulting in Washington and spend his days in jeans and cowboy boots rescuing and training horses.

Determined to keep his next wife content, if he was lucky enough to find one, he read and explored everything he could get his hands on to entice the right woman into his heart and his bed.
Since he rarely left his ranch, Mac decided to try internet dating. It seemed safe enough; with his connections to Washington, he could find out nearly everything about any woman before he met her.

I'll be sharing more about this new venture, as well as excerpts soon. The time travel/ western romance I'm working on, In This Lifetime is nearing completion and I hope to release that novel in late January also. If you don't want to miss anything, sign up for my newsletter. I promise I'll only send the important stuff, lol. So far, 2015 is shaping up to be an exciting year.

Today I'm going to share a snippet from my latest release, The Trouble With Abby . This is the sixth book in a series about my favorite fictional family, The O'Malleys. 'Abby' is currently in the top 100 ranking on Amazon in both Erotic Action & Adventure and Erotic BDSM. .
Connor McCabe recognized Abby as someone who needed looking after from the moment he met her and immediately appointed himself her protector. A former Navy Seal, used to being respected and obeyed, it wasn’t long before he was taking her in hand, determined to instill some sense into her beautiful head. In his opinion, Abby was a little wild, drank too much and was entirely too confident in her martial arts skills.
Abigail Stevens’s diminutive size was one of the reasons she pursued her back belt. A girl had to know how to take care of herself in today’s world. She was proud of her accomplishments, even if her overgrown G.I. Joe didn’t take her seriously. Sure he was stronger and when he pulled her over his knees there wasn’t much doubt who was in charge, but that didn’t mean she wasn’t capable. It just meant that she was crazy about the dominant man, or maybe just plain crazy. In her mind the jury was still out.
When danger threatens Abby and those she holds dear, Connor and the other men in the O’Malley’s tight-knit circle do everything in their power to protect their women.
As frustration and tensions mount the power struggle between Abby and Connor escalates, putting their entire relationship at risk until a hero makes a move, one that will change everything.
Excerpt:
“What about me?” he demanded roughly. “Do you think if something happens to you, if I allow something to happen to you, I’ll just go on? No regrets? No lasting scars? Is that what you imagine?”
“Of course not,” she insisted, “but nothing’s going to happen to me. I’m going to take this prick down, Connor, one way or another.”
“What makes you so sure you can do this?” he said, walking away from her and beginning to pace. “And don’t even tell me about your black belt,” he snapped.
“I know how you feel about that, but this guy’s not you, Connor. He’s not military trained. He’s not Special Forces. He’s a drunk and a bully, and he gets off on terrorizing women. He’s stupid, and I can outsmart him. I’m younger and faster, and I’m not afraid, at least not for myself.”
“How can you say that, Abby?” Connor demanded, still shaking his head in the negative. “What if this guy has a gun?” he yelled, turning back to her. “Doesn’t that scare you?”
“No.”
“Why the fuck not?” he roared facing her with his hands planted firmly on his hips.
“Because so do I,” she said softly, never taking her eyes from his.
Connor was speechless. It was true, just the tone of her voice told him that. But where had she gotten a gun? When? He’d been with her nearly every moment since this started. How in the hell did this get by him?

Thanks for stopping by and have a great time on the hop.

Kalista Dane joins me this week with an excerpt from her book, Bared by The Billionaire

All she has to do is go undercover, take a job working for billionaire technology entrepreneur Jake Harmon, and find evidence to prove the FBI’s claims that he masterminded the crime.
There's just one catch: Jake is a Dom, and he’s looking for someone who can be both a
financial officer for his company and the perfect sub for him.
Kyra has never been a sub--or wished to be one—but under the circumstances she is left with little choice, and she soon finds herself stripped bare and on her knees awaiting Jake’s every command. To make matters worse, her new master quickly proves more than ready to punish any disobedience with a long, hard, deeply humiliating spanking.
But to Kyra’s shock, Jake’s firm-handed dominance and skillful mastery of her body leaves her not only blushing with shame and aroused far beyond anything she's ever experienced before, it also leaves her yearning for more. It isn't long before she feels a growing need to submit both her body and her heart to the dark, mysterious billionaire. But when the time comes to fulfill the bargain that kept her out of prison, can she trust Jake to protect her, or will she cast aside her new-found love to save herself?
Here's an excerpt from Kalista's hot new romance:
“Take off the rest of your clothes.”
Her cheeks flushed but she did as she was told, trembling a little, eyes downcast the entire time. She dropped the bra and her hands moved to the nipple rings.
“Not those,” he said.
He saw the look of dismay on her face, but she never protested. She bent forward to unhook the garters. Slipping off her shoes and balancing on one foot, then the other, she peeled the stockings off. Finally she reached behind her and unhooked the lace garter belt, letting it fall to the floor.
He let her stand there for a moment under the bright lights of the lab, naked, and just stared. Her body was beautiful. Full, lush breasts, narrow waist, hips that flared out.
“Come here and lie across my lap.”
As she walked toward him, the portions of her brain that registered fear and anxiety responded strongly. But so did the center for arousal. She put one
knee on the sofa, awkwardly supporting her weight with her hands as she draped herself across his lap.
Her body was warm and soft and when she let her full weight rest on him, he felt his own body respond. Without thinking, he stroked her bare ass and ground himself up against her, just a little. Harmon didn’t need a machine to tell the instant she felt his cock pressing up, hard and ready. Her sharp intake of breath did that.
Grabbing her wrists with one hand and holding them out in front of her, he smacked her bottom sharply with the flat of his palm. The computer screen exploded in lights. He started spanking her steadily, firm but not too hard at first, watching with clinical detachment as her lovely bottom turned pink.
He spanked harder and it took on a darker shade of red. As it did, her pain centers on the monitor glowed brighter and brighter. Her fingers dug into the fabric of the sofa but she never moved or made a sound.
He wanted more, wanted to see what she’d do once he broke her tight control. He shifted his legs a little and spanked her slowly, sensuously, rubbing the hard bulge in his pants back and forth across her wet slit with every whack. A soft moan escaped her lips. The sensors recorded a huge spike in endorphins. The pleasure centers of her brain were sending off fireworks.
Harmon smiled to himself.
“Get down on your knees in front of me,” he demanded, letting go of her wrists.
A note from Kalista:
Bared by the Billionaire is my newest erotic romance. I had a great time telling the story of Kyra Thornton and her initiation into the dark world of BDSM by sexy scientist/inventor and Dom, Jake Harmon. He’s got some surprises for Kyra, including wild sex/tech toys he invented that he’ll use on her as he introduce her to his domination.
