Cover Reveal: The Soul's Mark: BROKEN
Hey everyone!
I'm super excited to share the cover of The Soul's Mark: BROKEN, book 3 of The Soul's Mark Series.
At first glance, Willowberg seemed like any other college town to newcomer Amelia Caldwell. But after a whirlwind of strange events, she now knows the truth—Willowberg is run by vampires—and her soulmate, Mitchell Lang, is their leader. And if that wasn’t enough, Amelia also learned that she is a witch.
The vampires and humans coexisted with relative peace, or at least they did until the vampire hunters arrived. Now, Amelia finds herself at the center of a showdown, fighting not only for her freedom and that of her new vampire family, but also for the lives of Willowberg’s residents.
But when Amelia’s branches of destiny cross paths, a long forgotten darkness falls upon the town. For any chance at victory, she must revisit her past and come face to face with the ultimate challenge: a fate that was decided by a force much closer to her than she could ever have imagined.
Will darkness prevail, or will Amelia find the strength to mend what has been broken?
Stay tuned for updates on the release date and a sneak peek chapter.

2013 Indie/Small Press Reading Challenge
Last year I had so much fun reading some truly amazing Indie books, that I’ve decided to incorporate them in my 2013 reading challenge. This year I have challenged myself to read 75 books, 50 of which will be Indie/Small Press.

I was so excited to get started that I hit up all my favorite online bookstores in search for some of my favorites and some ‘new to me’ indie authors, and I think I may have gotten a bit carried away. In the last few days I’ve picked up a bunch of the needed 50 books. Check out the below list to see all the awesome books!

My Top 5 Favorite Authors of 2012
I’ve always been kind of predictable with my reading. When I find an author I LOVE, I usually pick up every book they have ever written and do an author reading marathon. This year I decided I needed a change so I set out to find some new to me authors and I’m seriously glad I did.
Here are my top 5 favorites of 2012. Some of them have been on my list for years, others I just discovered this year. (Authors are listed in random order)
MJ Fletcher, Author of The Doorknob Society Saga
I stumbled across Fletcher on Goodreads and was lucky to have a chance to read The Doorknob Society in a read for review program. His writing is seriously addictive and action packed.

Amanda Hocking, Author of The Trylle Trilogy
Hocking has been one of my favorite authors since I picked up her My Blood Approves Series. She won me over again this year with Wake, Book #1 of Watersong.

Christina Smith, Author of A Moon’s Glow Series
I’ve never really been a fan of werewolves, but Smith has managed to change that with A Moon’s Glow Series. Once I picked up her books, I couldn’t put them down.

Rachel Caine, Author of The Morganville Vampires Series
I’m sure Caine will always be on my favorites list. I’ve literally read The Morganville Vampires books 10 + times. If you haven’t read them yet, you should check them out.

David Estes, Author of The Evolution Trilogy

"Verdict: While this classic vampire-human love story could have been no more than another Twilight- style tale of possession, Stoyanoff takes care to create both an innovative backstory for the creation of vampires as well as a believable and entertaining romance."
"The Soul’s Mark, by Ashley Stoyanoff, is a fresh take on the classic fantasy story, but with revitalized interpretations of the mysterious world of vampires and witches.
The tale of Amelia Caldwell begins when this recently-orphaned teenager wins a full-ride scholarship to Willowberg, a university in a small town of the same name that would become her “new start at life.” There, Amelia comes to live with her new pseudo-family, a group of “stunningly gorgeous” but incredibly warm and welcoming twenty-something year olds. Over the next few weeks Amelia learns not only that her new roommates are vampires, but also that she was brought into their world to finally meet her soulmate, Mitchell, who, it is revealed, is also a vampire. On her journey to come to terms with her new life, Amelia discovers much that is surprising about herself, as well.
The many conflicts with which Amelia must contend are not limited to the spell-casting and blood-sucking variety. While she is discovering herself as a member of the supernatural community, she is simultaneously dealing with very real, very human issues." My family is growing!
I'm so excited! My little brother is getting married. And it's about time. He has been waiting for that perfect moment to pop the question for almost three years!
Here's the happy couple.
And check out her ring...
Isn't it gorgeous?
Of course, my first question was, can I start planning the wedding? I don't think they took me seriously though because they just laughed.
Congrats guys! I'm so happy for you.

The Soul’s Mark: HUNTED is Out!
The Soul’s Mark: HUNTED, book 2 of The Soul's Mark series is out, and I'm really excited for you to check it out.
When Amelia Caldwell learned that she was marked by a vampire’s soul, she did what any smart, self-preserving person would have done: tried to run. But thanks to the soulmate bond that tethered her mentally and emotionally to her vampire soulmate, Mitchell Lang, running was not an option and finding out she was a witch didn’t make her life any easier.
Now, Amelia has made peace with her new supernatural life and accepted her destiny with Mitchell, one of the most powerful vampires in the world. They are finally getting along but Amelia is sure he is hiding something—something big.
Little does she know that this is just the calm before the storm. When Mitchell’s former flame resurfaces and Eric’s dreams become distorted visions of his soulmate, hostility and tension threatens to tear their world apart.
Just when Amelia thinks life couldn’t get any crazier, vampires and humans start turning up dead. The killer—something more sinister and haunting than your run of the mill psychopath —is heading straight for their front door.
