Cover Reveal for “Marry in Haste” from Harlequin Worldwide Mystery

Last year, Harlequin Worldwide Mystery republished my first Endurance mystery, Three May Keep a Secret, in July as a mass market paperback. The Education of a Teacher (Including Dirty Books and Pointed Looks) (Biographies & Memoirs)
1 chapters   —   updated May 13, 2015 06:31PM
Description: I spent thirty-four years teaching in an Illinois high school, and these stories from my career prove what a unique, rewarding, and amazing life you can have in the teaching profession. Many of these stories are humorous, some are sad, but all are both inspirational and illuminating when it comes to describing the profession I love so well. And if you’re just looking for some good human interest stories, you have come to the right place! Told as creative stories, these tales are nevertheless based on real events. You’ll read about my early fears as a rookie teacher, the hilarious student plots to overthrow me, and a major challenge to a Kurt Vonnegut book in my classroom, among other tales. Please come with me on this adventure that is the story of a town, a school, and the students who taught me.

“The best moments in reading are when you come across something – a thought, a feeling, a way of looking at things – which you had thought special and particular to you. Now here it is, set down by someone else, a person you have never met, someone even who is long dead. And it is as if a hand has come out and taken yours.”
