The friends to lovers aspect that Leigh and Hudson bring into this romance was natural and just felt right. Gay for you happens to be one of my favorite troupes in the male male genre. This is a little different though. Hudson brings a het/bi for you to this sexy threesome. And then there is David. How can you not love a fun and flirty equal opportunity lover. She chewed, trying to extrapolate the different flavors—a rich, buttery crust that was so thin it broke like a cracker when she bit into it, caramelized onions, a hint of garlic, chunks of fresh tomatoes, some sort of mushroom, cheese that seemed to melt in her mouth, and then that crisp lettuce that had been sprinkled on top. It was all so good. She finished her piece and licked her fingers clean. The sauce had a hint of something...amazing. She opened her eyes to ask Hudson what that flavor was and found both her roommates staring at her with their mouths slightly opened and stunned expressions on their faces. I took a piece of turkey bacon and pureed it to add a hint of smoke to the sauce.” He shook his head sadly. “My skills are wasted with you. All it takes for you to like something is add bacon.”She should probably be embarrassed by that fact, but it was true, so what could she do? She lifted up one of the little lettuce cups. “I do really like these, too. What are they?”His eyes lit up and he gave her a huge smile that showed off his amazing dimples. “Those are brussel sprouts, raw, peeled in layers.”Her eyes widened in shock. “No way. And Guess What?
You don't have long to wait for book #4...That's right. Law's book is coming next month. In fact, Intertwined Hearts and Snowcroft Restoration  are closely related. Their timelines and story lines cross over one another a little bit. In fact, you get a really good idea of what is going to be happening with Law and his hero, Ian, with the scenes in Intertwined Hearts . They each have several scenes in IH and it leads directly into their story. COMING NOVEMBER 15th

I have no idea how my year scheduled out this way, but wow...there is a lot happening in my little corner of the book world right now. All the releases are coming...LOL.

This book is releasing next week...October 12!

I got my proof copy of it last night^^^. *gah* It's so pretty...and so dang big. It is a long book...and that made it a thick book even with using a smaller font. This one finished out at 472 printed pages. O.O
I know, right? But it's pretty and I approved the print version of it this morning, which means it will be showing up for sale (in print only) on Amazon and other outlets over the next few days. So keep an eye out (Note: it takes a few days to iron out the combined print and ebook release, so they won't be showing up together...at least not at first.)

Found at the Jazz ClubI finished writing the first draft of this book on Monday. It's just under 50,000 words, so it didn't quite work out to be a novella...LOL. And that's just the way I write. 
(For those of you keeping track, that means it's the same length that Found at the Library was.)
I don't quite have a cover to show you yet. My graphic designer and I have been going back and forth on it while I've been writing this today, so I should have it by next Friday maybe.

This book is about two guys just graduating college who do a completely stupid thing that results in them both having unusable hands for the summer. The scenes that play out are sexy and fun.

Friday Five is BACK!

I planned for it to be a novella, but it's looking more and more like it's going to run 45-50k which will put it right at the size that Found at the Library was...this is the story of my writing life...LOL.
But the good news is that the first draft should be done in the next week. Yippee.

No Friday Five, but...

No, there's not going to be a Friday Five post today, but I hope you all will forgive me when you find out why. I'm working 12-14 hour days right now.
1. Intertwined Hearts is getting final edits applied to it.2. Snowcroft Restoration went to my editor...TODAY!3. Found at the Jazz Club is at 25,000 words and only 6 scenes from the end.
I'm actively working on all three of these projects every single day. Lots of fun stuff still coming to you in 2017!! It just means long days of work for me right now.
I'll be back next week and maybe I'll have solid release dates ready for you for Intertwined Hearts (Snowcroft #3) and Snowcroft Restoration (Snowcroft #4).

One Exquisite Moment...

Finally Friday Five...with COVER REVEALS!

oops, sorry about last Friday. The day simply got by me before I even got 1/2 my to do list done...which included the Friday Five. I'm so sorry. 
But I'm back today, so let's get this started...

Writing Updates...Today is the first day in September, so I'm going to recap what I've been working on.
In August, I wrote 43,539 words. 
I'm happy with that number. About half of them were finishing the first draft of  Snowcroft Restoration and then I began writing Found at the Jazz Club .
So, this is where all my current writing projects stand (in order of how I think they'll release):
* Intertwined Hearts (mmf - Snowcroft #3)...with the editor...approx - 128, 000 words. It's a beast, so it's taking a bit to get through all the publishing steps. Planned release...maybe late Sept but more likely to be early Oct.
* Smolder (mm - Texas Paranormals #1) - approx - 18,000 words. This is a vampire themed novella coming out in an anthology with Less Than Three Press. It's completely done as it's gone through edits. As I hear more about the details of release, I'll pass them on.Expected Release...Oct, 2017
* Snowcroft Restoration (mm - Snowcroft #4)...first draft done... approx - 95,000 words. This one needs big rewrites to get it on point with the rest of the series and for smoothing the suspense line. This story is Law's and Ian's so it ties in hard with all the books that have come before it. You'll still be able to read it as a stand-alone, but I need to do lots of rereading and fact checking to make sure I have all the details right. This is a BIG novel for Snowcroft. By the time it goes to my editor, I figure it will be about 100,000 words. Planned release...November, 2017.
* Found at the Jazz Club (mf - Found #2.5, but may become #3)...work in progress...right now it's at just over 18,000 words. I predict it will stay under the 40,000 word mark which is about twice as long as I'd planned, but it MAY end up being even longer. This is a really fun may/december holiday romance that I'm loving writing. Planned release...November 2017
* Shiver (mm - Texas Paranormals #2)...work in progress that's about halfway written. I'll be working on it after Jazz Club. Although it's a follow-up to Smolder, I'll be releasing it myself. This is a deer shifter story inspired by real life. (more details to come).Planned release...December 2017
* When Love Comes Back (mf -When the Mission Ends #5)...work in progress. I'm only listing this one because it's what I plan to be writing on by the time October rolls around, so you'll be hearing about it.Planned release...February/March, 2018

Favorites...It's been a while since I've recommended good books on here. But this week there were two new releases that I loved. So I thought it was appropriate to share...
These are both mf stories, but completely different from each other. Although they were both FABULOUS! Highly recommend!!

Let's Talk Writing and Music...I'll admit it...music inspires my writing...a lot. 
Right now, I'm writing Found at the Jazz Club . This is a story about an unexpected, drunken Vegas marriage between Emily and Brady. Emily is Mac's agent and bff in Found at the Library and there was a glimpse of these two meeting in Found at the Bookstore . Despite their drunken wedding, these are two people who didn't plan on getting married...much less getting married to a stranger. So, they know nothing about one another...and neither can remember the wedding. 
But it turns out, Brady is a really famous musician from a legacy musical family...three generations of his family have been song-writers and instrumental in the music industry. The family is known for their soundtracks and modern music too (think the Newman family...Randy and Thomas Newman specifically).
Brady was in Vegas just trying to find musical inspiration because he's been blocked. Emily helps him hear the music in his head again. So...music is HUGE in this story...and I have a big playlist for it (a LOT of the Road to Perdition soundtrack from Thomas Newman...go listen to it...it's haunting). 
But in my search for inspiration, I found this song. The song is PERFECT for Emily and Brady....and then I watched the video...OMG, sobbing. While the singer for the song is female, the video tells the story of a tragic mm love story. So moving and beautiful...and sad. 
So, it seemed fitting that this song is THE soundtrack for Found at the Jazz Club...an mf story within what was supposed to be an exclusively mm series. What can I say? Love is love and the love story is there, I follow the muse. 
(And speaking of that...I think we'll probably see some of the characters from this book in future mm (maybe even mmm) Found stories.)
