Intertwined Hearts is OUT!

Three people who’ve given up on love...
Hudson:After a brutal, late-night attack in his restaurant left Chef Hudson Richmond too traumatized to even enter his restaurant again, he escaped to Snowcroft. Now he’s trying to find a new normal when the reality of his world is a man’s touch makes him sick and his dream has become his nightmare.
Leigh:Leigh Vaughn lives in a man’s world running Vaughn Construction with her brother, Jamie. She’s tried to be feminine and failed over and over again. Growing up with only her brother, father, and construction crews to guide her, Leigh has no idea what a feminine wile is, much less how to deploy them. But when Jamie and Trevor begin to research finding a surrogate to carry their baby, she knows this is something she can do. Hell, it’s not like those parts are getting used for anything else.
David:When this small town came looking for a new police chief, David Warner jumped at the chance. After a traumatic betrayal by his partner on the police force, he’s burnt out and jaded. And his love life has been even more depressing than his work life. He’s made one true connection in the last five years, but she disappeared without a trace the next morning.
Three people who have given up on love, may just find a new beginning where they least expect it...in Snowcroft. But love is only supposed to happen in twos. How can they make it work with three intertwined hearts?
Trigger warning: This book features story-lines that involve past assaults and betrayals, but has a guaranteed HEA for three people who couldn’t deserve it more. male/male/female.

Check out what reviewers are saying...First, I gotta be honest here, menage is not my ‘go-to’ when I’m looking for a romance. I can’t tell you how much I loved these characters. Jamie and Trevor (Snowcroft Lost) had no idea what they were doing when they inadvertently brought these three together- Shirley from Goodreads
highly recommended please let there be more! -Dani from Goodreads
Oh, my heart! Leigh and Hudson and David worked so nicely for me. They all have baggage and they find one another when they need it most. -Kelly from Goodreads
The friends to lovers aspect that Leigh and Hudson bring into this romance was natural and just felt right. Gay for you happens to be one of my favorite troupes in the male male genre. This is a little different though. Hudson brings a het/bi for you to this sexy threesome. And then there is David. How can you not love a fun and flirty equal opportunity lover. Yes, very sext read to be devoured here! -Vanessa from Goodreads******

“Besides, I really love pizza, and there’s no place up here that serves really good, greasy pie.” She looked back at the three pizzas set arranged on different tiers on the table and frowned. “Uh...Hud...” She wrinkled her nose and pointed. “Why does that one have plants on it?” He’d hidden the mostly green pie on the lowest level so she’d missed it when she first glanced at the table.David snorted. “I told you she wasn’t going to fall for that for long.”She raised an eyebrow at the two men smirking at her. Hudson sighed. “You can eat any of the pizzas on the table, but to do that, you have to eat a piece of the veggie one first.”Her mouth watered as she gazed at the deep dish, meat pizza with perfectly golden brown cheese and then gazed back at the one with some sort of leafy green something sprinkled on top. “Seriously, you’re going to bribe me like a small child?” she whined. She really wanted that other one first.“When your palate is the equivalent of a three year old’s, then yes, I am. Just one piece...I think you’ll like it if you try it. The baby will like the nutrients.”She scowled at him. “Now you’re just playing dirty.”“Trust me,” he said as he dished her up a heaping slice of the vegetable pizza.“What is that?” She picked up the tiny lettuce leaf that looked like a miniature cup.“Nope.” He shook his head at her. “You finish it first and then I’ll tell you what’s on it.”She sniffed at the tiny lettuce leaf before popping it in her mouth. “What if I’m allergic to something you put on it?” she asked mulishly, surprised to find the little lettuce cup was really crunchy and yummy. Hudson rolled his eyes. “I know for a fact you don’t have any food allergies. Eat,” he growled, sounding more and more like a grumpy dad rather than her nice, friendly roommate. So she took a big bite of her pizza. Flavors exploded on her tongue, and she closed her eyes and moaned. As soon as she swallowed, she took another big bite. Hell, this was so, so good. She chewed, trying to extrapolate the different flavors—a rich, buttery crust that was so thin it broke like a cracker when she bit into it, caramelized onions, a hint of garlic, chunks of fresh tomatoes, some sort of mushroom, cheese that seemed to melt in her mouth, and then that crisp lettuce that had been sprinkled on top. It was all so good. She finished her piece and licked her fingers clean. The sauce had a hint of something...amazing. She opened her eyes to ask Hudson what that flavor was and found both her roommates staring at her with their mouths slightly opened and stunned expressions on their faces. David said, “Watching you eat pizza is better than any porno I’ve ever seen.” His voice was low and husky and the arousal she heard there made her nipples tingle. “Hudson, we need to put pizza on the menu every other night. Or hell, every night.” Hudson grunted his agreement, but he looked a little stunned. She ducked her head, embarrassed. “Oh, stop it. It’s really good.” She cleared her throat. “The sauce...it’s... Something’s different, but I really like it.”Hudson appeared to be recovering, because now he snorted at her. “Of course you do. I took a piece of turkey bacon and pureed it to add a hint of smoke to the sauce.” He shook his head sadly. “My skills are wasted with you. All it takes for you to like something is add bacon.”She should probably be embarrassed by that fact, but it was true, so what could she do? She lifted up one of the little lettuce cups. “I do really like these, too. What are they?”His eyes lit up and he gave her a huge smile that showed off his amazing dimples. “Those are brussel sprouts, raw, peeled in layers.”Her eyes widened in shock. “No way. I just ate brussel sprouts and liked them?” she whispered, not sure if it was horror or admiration for what Hudson had done.He chuckled. “Stick with me. There’s no telling what you might find that you like.” That sounded so flirtatious, so downright scandalous that her cheeks heated with pleasure even though she knew that wasn’t the way he’d meant it.

You don't have long to wait for book #4...That's right. Law's book is coming next month. In fact, Intertwined Hearts and Snowcroft Restoration are closely related. Their timelines and story lines cross over one another a little bit. In fact, you get a really good idea of what is going to be happening with Law and his hero, Ian, with the scenes in Intertwined Hearts . They each have several scenes in IH and it leads directly into their story. COMING NOVEMBER 15th
Snowcroft Restoration Story Description
Two years ago, Law Wyman went undercover for an FBI investigation that went sideways. It cost him both the love of his life and his sanity. The nightmare still haunts him, and so does some unfinished business...Ian Mayne, the son of the man who ruined his life.
Two years ago, Ian had to face the truth about how his father spent a lifetime torturing and trafficking LGBTQ teens. Ever since, Ian has done everything he can to make up for his dead father’s many sins through his law enforcement job. Too many paid in horrific, horrible ways at his father’s hands while Ian kept the truth about his own sexuality hidden.
Law is doing all he can to save Ian, but Ian doesn’t necessarily want to be saved.
Two men...both horrifically haunted by what happened. Is it possible they can find healing together? Only if they have the courage to face their demons and each other...

Friday Five...all the book news...

I have no idea how my year scheduled out this way, but wow...there is a lot happening in my little corner of the book world right now. All the releases are coming...LOL.

This book is releasing next week...October 12!

I got my proof copy of it last night^^^. *gah* It's so pretty...and so dang big. It is a long book...and that made it a thick book even with using a smaller font. This one finished out at 472 printed pages. O.O
I know, right? But it's pretty and I approved the print version of it this morning, which means it will be showing up for sale (in print only) on Amazon and other outlets over the next few days. So keep an eye out (Note: it takes a few days to iron out the combined print and ebook release, so they won't be showing up together...at least not at first.)
And what do you know? In the time it's taken me to write this post, the print edition has shown up on Amazon... Amazon Print
The ebook version of the book is up for preorder. You can find it here... Amazon preorder All other retailers preorder link
Other places to find the book: Goodreads NetGalley (if you are a book reviewer)

Snowcroft Restoration

Law's book is now up for preorder. Amazon It's releasing November 15th.Right now the only place it's up is Amazon, but the other retailers should be coming up in the next week or so.

Texas Paranormals Cover Reveals! My cover designer has been rocking my covers this week.
Today, I'm going to show you the two books for the Texas Paranormals series. (Note: Smolder will not be available to purchase under this cover for at least the next six months, because it is part of a charity anthology. BUT if you buy the antho, send me your receipt and I will send you a file with this cover.)
For now this will simply be the cover for my individual novella in the antho series on Goodreads.

Nash Dixon is a new vampire who’s used to living his life in the light. A photographer by trade, he has no idea how to deal with his new reality. He hasn’t mentioned his latest medical condition to his best friends, only that he needs a safe place to land. Bringing danger to their door was never part of the plan.
Nash also didn’t count on Zack, his sexy new mentor. Zack is an enigma...grumpy, gorgeous, and completely off-limits. At least that’s what Zack’s mouth says. The heat in his eyes says something else entirely. As a photographer, Nash sees that deeper need. But how does he convince a 150-year-old vampire that sometimes the light is exactly where he needs to be? Goodreads link *****

A year ago Corey Abbott’s life entered the realm of the bizarre when he discovered the things that go bump in the night are real. But working for the local vampire council didn’t prepare him for were-deer shifters.
Nine months ago Dare Buckley’s herd abandoned him. Now, he’s slowly going mad from Lyme disease...something that doesn’t hurt normal deer, but for were-deer is fatal.
On one snowy, sleet-filled night, the two collided...literally.
This Christmas two men find love in the most unexpected place...a lonely, desolate highway.
It’s definitely not your typical meet-cute, but it’s a twist of fate that would even make Santa happy.
Goodreads link *****
And for those of you that weren't aware, here is the anthology which features Smolder by me as well as three other novellas by three other VERY TALENTED authors. All the proceeds from this antho go to the Rainbow Railroad which is a charity group out of Canada that helps persecuted gay men escape bad situations like what's been happening in Chechnya the last year or so...

Children of the Night Anthologypreorder from Less Than Three Press releasing October 25th.

(For those of you keeping track, that means it's the same length that Found at the Library was.)
I don't quite have a cover to show you yet. My graphic designer and I have been going back and forth on it while I've been writing this today, so I should have it by next Friday maybe.
BUT I do have a blurb to share:
Found At the Jazz Club Story Description: What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas...or does it? Emily Hodges went to Vegas for her best friend’s wedding. She was NOT looking for a husband. Been there, done that, never doing it again. She has enough scars on her heart, and doesn’t need or want any more.Brady Gresham went to Vegas to find his musical voice again. Instead he found an inspiring muse in the form of Emily. But right now his musical career is his focus. He’s too young to want or need to be tied down.Somehow their drunken get-together turned into a wedding that neither one of them can remember or explain.Waking up married was never part of the plan, but you know what they say about best laid plans...Releasing late November

How about I share a couple of books that I've read recently that I LOVED and had to buy in print...

These are two very different stories, but I loved them both so much...69 Million Things I Hate About You by Kira Archerm/f romantic comedy Amazon link (and right now it's only $.99)
This story is about an executive assistant who wins $69 million in the lottery and decides to quit in the most epic way...by driving her demanding, exacting boss mad. It's so much fun!
Five Daresby Eli Eastonm/m new adult romance Amazon link
This book is about two guys just graduating college who do a completely stupid thing that results in them both having unusable hands for the summer. The scenes that play out are sexy and fun.
Read them. They're really good. *****

No Friday Five, but...

No, there's not going to be a Friday Five post today, but I hope you all will forgive me when you find out why. I'm working 12-14 hour days right now.
1. Intertwined Hearts is getting final edits applied to it.2. Snowcroft Restoration went to my editor...TODAY!3. Found at the Jazz Club is at 25,000 words and only 6 scenes from the end.
I'm actively working on all three of these projects every single day. Lots of fun stuff still coming to you in 2017!! It just means long days of work for me right now.
I'll be back next week and maybe I'll have solid release dates ready for you for Intertwined Hearts (Snowcroft #3) and Snowcroft Restoration (Snowcroft #4).

Finally Friday Five...with COVER REVEALS!

oops, sorry about last Friday. The day simply got by me before I even got 1/2 my to do list done...which included the Friday Five. I'm so sorry.
But I'm back today, so let's get this started...

Writing Updates...Today is the first day in September, so I'm going to recap what I've been working on.
In August, I wrote 43,539 words.
I'm happy with that number. About half of them were finishing the first draft of Snowcroft Restoration and then I began writing Found at the Jazz Club .
So, this is where all my current writing projects stand (in order of how I think they'll release):
* Intertwined Hearts (mmf - Snowcroft #3)...with the editor...approx - 128, 000 words. It's a beast, so it's taking a bit to get through all the publishing steps. Planned release...maybe late Sept but more likely to be early Oct.
* Smolder (mm - Texas Paranormals #1) - approx - 18,000 words. This is a vampire themed novella coming out in an anthology with Less Than Three Press. It's completely done as it's gone through edits. As I hear more about the details of release, I'll pass them on.Expected Release...Oct, 2017
* Snowcroft Restoration (mm - Snowcroft #4)...first draft done... approx - 95,000 words. This one needs big rewrites to get it on point with the rest of the series and for smoothing the suspense line. This story is Law's and Ian's so it ties in hard with all the books that have come before it. You'll still be able to read it as a stand-alone, but I need to do lots of rereading and fact checking to make sure I have all the details right. This is a BIG novel for Snowcroft. By the time it goes to my editor, I figure it will be about 100,000 words. Planned release...November, 2017.
* Found at the Jazz Club (mf - Found #2.5, but may become #3)...work in progress...right now it's at just over 18,000 words. I predict it will stay under the 40,000 word mark which is about twice as long as I'd planned, but it MAY end up being even longer. This is a really fun may/december holiday romance that I'm loving writing. Planned release...November 2017
* Shiver (mm - Texas Paranormals #2)...work in progress that's about halfway written. I'll be working on it after Jazz Club. Although it's a follow-up to Smolder, I'll be releasing it myself. This is a deer shifter story inspired by real life. (more details to come).Planned release...December 2017
* When Love Comes Back (mf -When the Mission Ends #5)...work in progress. I'm only listing this one because it's what I plan to be writing on by the time October rolls around, so you'll be hearing about it.Planned release...February/March, 2018

Favorites...It's been a while since I've recommended good books on here. But this week there were two new releases that I loved. So I thought it was appropriate to share...
These are both mf stories, but completely different from each other. Although they were both FABULOUS! Highly recommend!!

Holiday in the Hamptons by Sarah MorganLink to my review.
Elliott Redeemed by Scarlett ColeLink to my review.

Let's Talk Writing and Music...I'll admit it...music inspires my writing...a lot.
Right now, I'm writing Found at the Jazz Club . This is a story about an unexpected, drunken Vegas marriage between Emily and Brady. Emily is Mac's agent and bff in Found at the Library and there was a glimpse of these two meeting in Found at the Bookstore . Despite their drunken wedding, these are two people who didn't plan on getting married...much less getting married to a stranger. So, they know nothing about one another...and neither can remember the wedding.
But it turns out, Brady is a really famous musician from a legacy musical family...three generations of his family have been song-writers and instrumental in the music industry. The family is known for their soundtracks and modern music too (think the Newman family...Randy and Thomas Newman specifically).
Brady was in Vegas just trying to find musical inspiration because he's been blocked. Emily helps him hear the music in his head again. So...music is HUGE in this story...and I have a big playlist for it (a LOT of the Road to Perdition soundtrack from Thomas Newman...go listen to it...it's haunting).
But in my search for inspiration, I found this song. The song is PERFECT for Emily and Brady....and then I watched the video...OMG, sobbing. While the singer for the song is female, the video tells the story of a tragic mm love story. So moving and beautiful...and sad.
So, it seemed fitting that this song is THE soundtrack for Found at the Jazz Club...an mf story within what was supposed to be an exclusively mm series. What can I say? Love is love and the love story is there, I follow the muse.
(And speaking of that...I think we'll probably see some of the characters from this book in future mm (maybe even mmm) Found stories.)

After too many years spent working vice in the city, he’s burnt out and jaded.
