I have 5 million story ideas running through my head

Okay, so maybe not 5 million. But, seriously. I feel like I have multiple stories tapping their feet, crossing their arms, and just waiting for me to put fingers to the keyboard and write them. I was just thinking of a new one today and jotted down a couple pages on paper. (Almost every story I've published started on scribbling something on paper on break at work!) I keep having to buckle down and focus. I have to finish my fantasy books first (this is the speech I tell myself even when my fans are asking me, "When is the next Heart of Grace book going to be out?") I did write a good 30 pages on the next one, but no, no, I need to focus on the other ones first! Lol. See what I go through? Haha...so much to write so little time!

Just read City of Bones

So, I gave City of Bones a 5 star, not exactly sure why cause I think it was more of a 4ish star. I think mostly because I've read a ton of indies who I've rated 5 and I give authors who put that much thought into their book props! It had a ton of detail which bored me a little bit, but at parts I was super sucked into the scenes. Mostly the vampire fighting kind of scenes!!! I really enjCity of Bonesoyed that funny banter with some of the characters. My favorite line was "First I'd give her flowers, then chocolates, than the ravenous demon." Oh my word! I laughed so hard! But, as for the 2nd book...I feel Meh...so. Onto the next book I say!

New Christian Romance Coming Out!

It's so crazy how I actually decided to write Grace Alive, my new Christian Romance. So, I begrudgingly told my little sister, "I should write a romance because they sell." The same day I said that to her I get this idea that pops in my head. I started writing Grace Alive and ten days later I finished the story. I fell in love with the characters of my new romance that I will be releasing in early December. I could feel for Zoe, and her frustration at life. She's 26, unmarried, and feels like her life is one big disappointment. I hope people really get the heart behind this book. I have never before felt so much emotion while writing and editing. I started crying twice as I reread Grace Alive. I pray that the power of love, forgiveness, and grace in this book touches all my fans who read it. I hope everyone understand that I started out with the attitude of "Ugh, gotta write a romance" to falling in love with this story. I hope you fall in love with Branson and Zoe too. I can't wait to release it!!!

Tip! How to do pictures on createspace without that annoying 200dpi error message!

Tip! Paperback pictures and how to get rid of that annoying error on Createspace!

So, every single time I went to upload my paperback book I'd get that annoying error on createspace that says: you're pictures are under 200dpi and may be blurry, blah, blah, blah. I just ended up ignoring it cause I didn't have a clue what to do. When I published my Superhero Princess book the pictures turned out just fine (and honestly I'm not sure if it said that error back then) Well, anyways! I noticed that the pictures on book 2 of my Jade series looked pixalated and slightly blurry! While the other one was fine. So, this weekend I was re-uploading some of my books with pics, and of course that annoying thing came up again!! So I started googling (I love google!) and started weeding through people's comments (most knew about as much as me!) After awhile I came across one guy who actually knew what the heck he was talking about!! Ugh, if I knew where I found it I'd post the link, but no clue! I will try my best to explain it.

1. Download Foxit Pdf program (It's free!!!) http://www.foxitsoftware.com/Secure_P...
2. Next go into word and open your doc.
3. Insert pics by going to: Insert-pictures. Find your pic and throw it where you want. Save your doc.
3. Next (this is the weird part) go to PRINT. Yes PRINT. Weird as that is. Then under select printer go to Foxit reader PDF printer and select that.
4. Then go to Properties and down a little bit it will say image resolution and type in 300. Then hit okay.
5. Then just hit save.
6. Upload to Createspace!

I know this sounds nuts, but for once it didn't say "We have found ISSUES with your doc." The quailty of your pics is now 300 dpi!!! Wahoo!!! Hope you guys found this helpful!! I have saved you a headache and a half! Haha! Believe I know the annoyance of formatting! Any help I can give I do!!

Silence Part 1 (A free short story to read)

Silence Part 1

A cool vapor twisted out of the mouth of a dark suited man. His eyes were lowered, his hand twitching. He acted as if he wasn't listening to the conversations around him, but he took in every detail. It was a blessing. It was a curse. He heard all. He saw all. His eyes were shaded as a headache pounded in the base of his skull. He didn't think it was possible for the human race to get any more annoying. He was wrong. He rubbed his temple as he walked toward the nearest coffee shop. His shoes crunched the ice beneath his foot sounding like a rhythm in his mind. Why couldn't these people just keep their voices down? He slammed into the coffee shop, the jingle of the bell above a relief compared to the constant chatter around him. He needed caffeine to get him through today. He was meeting her. Here. At three o'clock. He knew she would arrive precisely three minutes passed three. He ordered himself a shot in the dark with two extra shots of espresso added to it. The girl at the counter smiled at him. He ignored the warm gesture and grabbed his coffee and sat down. So much noise. Everyone was so noisy in his head. Couldn't they just be silent for one minute? She said she could help him silence them. He gulped down his coffee and felt some relief. The caffeine buzz would work for a few hours. It never silenced them though, just made the noise sound muffled in his mind. He looked at the scuffs on the table, heard the unbalance of the chair he was sitting on, felt the awe of three women around him, and counted under his breath. One. Two. Three. A girl approached him and tapped his shoulder.
"Hi, sorry to bother you. My friend wanted me to give you this." The girl handed him a slip of paper. He crunched it in his hand and said nothing. The girl gave him an awkward smile and practically ran away from him. This was not the first time a girl had slipped him her phone number. He had that affect on women. His curse. Two more minutes and she'd be here. Out of boredom he unwrapped the scrap of paper. It was simply a name. Ashlie. Nothing else. He glanced up in curiosity and looked across the room. The girl's friend was sipping her coffee while the other girl, he supposed was Ashlie, just stared at him. His mind cleared. Instantly. Wait? She had two minutes. This couldn't be right. Who was this woman? He ran his finger over the crinkles in the paper. Nothingness flooded his soul. Bliss. The girl smiled at him and rose to her feet. She got near him, and he could feel something emanating off her. What was happening to him? Peace filled his mind. He'd never felt that before. He stared at her in awe.
"I'm Ash. I presume you are...?"
"Paxton."
"Ah," she said.
"How are you..?" His words tripped on his tongue. He'd never felt this tranquil in his entire life.
"This is just the beginning." She walked back over to her friend, and all the noise returned like a freight train.

Description

Cold. Fear. Unfeeling eyes stare at Lend as he’s forced up against a metal contraption. A smile curls on the face of the blue-skinned, bat-winged creature that towers above him. Blue electricity is pressed crudely to his face, and a voice slithers from the throat of the other worldly being. “There’s nowhere to run, human.” Human Warehouse Lend, wrenched away from his home in the wild, loses everything in one eternal moment. Not only have these creatures, whom call themselves Citizens, stolen his world, but now his freedom as well. When he is forced into the back of a speedcar, he is taken to a warehouse, where ill fed and terrified humans huddle in the darkness waiting, to be purchased by a Citizen. Having been stripped of all identity except the name human Lend must fight to regain the freedom he and his race have lost. Purchased by the daughter of the most powerful Citizen on the planet Lend finds his world churning. The female Citizen shows him a new side of the alien race whom he believed incapable of love or trust. Jealousy rages in her relationship with her future mate and Lend runs from the killer inamorato. With the threat of being burned alive, Lend collides straight into a force beyond his control. Does he have what it takes to become a savior? Or will he be enslaved at the hands of the powerful beings who corrupted his world.
