Swept away by romance

The official release day for my New Adult debut, BEFORE, is Dec 2nd.
So far, early reviews have been fabulous, including this one at SWEPT AWAY BY ROMANCE   today.

I'm always interested to hear when a reader really connects with my work to the point she cries.
I'm betting it's the same spot in the book I cried. First while writing, then later editing.

Can't wait to hear what more readers think about this book!

The emerging New Adult market

There's a great article by my favourite author Barbara O'Neal over at WRITER UNBOXED today, on the emerging new adult market.

I'm so excited that Barbara is writing NA (she's the only author I pre-order books for 6 months in advance!) and I have her NA, RANDOM, lined up to read next on my kindle. (She's writing NA under a pen name, Lark O'Neal.)

Alternative medicine

Today, I had acupuncture for the first time in 20 years.
Back then, it was amazing.

But I'd forgotten the whole 'feeling like a pincushion while I lie still for 40 minutes' thing.

While I'm traditionally scientifically trained (with my physio background) I'm always open to trying new methods as long as it doesn't harm.

What about you?
What alternative medicine/methods have you tried and if so, how did you find the results?
